Back at the academy or rather in front of a mirror was Logan.
Logan currently had on a green tracksuit, it had a single silver lining running across its sides,
And on the left breast area was the insignia of the kingdom, a mighty three-headed dragon coiled around a tower that seemed to pierce the heavens.
Logan looked at himself a couple of times, his still white hair had grown during the two months unconscious,
Its longer strands covered his hazel brown eyes, "The academy has yet to mention my white hair. What's happening?" Logan questioned himself aloud.
He looked around in the hospital room he was in, he was in the physical therapy center standing in front of one of the mirrors present.
He pulled out his tablet and looked at its screen, he tapped on its surface navigating through the strings of text until he found what he was looking for, a map.
Using the map, Logan left the room and entered the still white halls of the hospital.
The hallways appeared monotonous and bland as the white light emitted by the illumination orbs blended with the white walls, floors and ceiling,
Logan passed by many rooms, some occupied and others not before he managed to leave the place.
Logan turned back to look at the hospital from outside, he saw a four story white building with no windows, the only entrance being the one he had just left.
He turned his head to focus back on the map, on it was a glowing green dot that had the word 'Orientation' above it,
Logan picked up the pace while taking note of the academy's setting.
The academy and all subsidiary structures such as the hospital appeared to be surrounded by a thick forest with mountain ranges in the distance,
The path that led to and from the hospital as well as linked all buildings was tarred.
He walked for a few hundred meters before he could get to where he was headed,
In front of him and in the center of six structures was a bronze statue of a man in a robe, he had a scepter in one hand and a book in the other.
But what really caught Logan's attention was the large group of students around the statue, no not the statue but the man close to it,
He appeared to be in his late twenties, had bright blonde hair that had brown, blue and silver streaks, kind green eyes and had on a blue tracksuit.
"Oh, the last of you is here. Good, now we can begin" The man in the center remarked at Logan this putting the attention of his entire year on him,
"The Life Magus took note of him" a voice murmured, "Who is he? Some noble that we don't know?" another muttered,
"I'm a noble and the Life Magus didn't take note of me. Who does he think he is?!" Another voice said with anger directed at Logan.
"He doesn't even have any elemental streak. That means he has no affinity, how did he enter the academy like this?" A feminine voice whispered loudly drawing the attention of all those present to his white hair,
"Whoa she's right? No streaks? What kind of freak is he? I bet he had to get down with one of the female staff to secure his position here" another feminine voice giggled at Logan's expense.
"Okay, let's begin" the man clapped his hands to draw the attention of the students,
"To be honest, the rules of the academy aren't that much and consequently, the punishment for flouting them is high" The man started walking as he was speaking,
'They did not tell me that there was someone with no affinity attending this year. Even with a hundred students, they should have remembered' The man thought as he spoke to the students.
Logan was focused on all the man was saying, "Ha, I knew you'd pass" a familiar voice said by Logan's side,
Turning his eyes away from the man and turning them to the source, he saw a muscular dark skinned boy with braided black hair that spotted obvious green streaks that had a metallic glimmer.
"Remember me?" Orion asked Logan, humor and interest filling his voice,
"Why are you talking to me?" Logan spoke to him for the first time since they met,
"I don't expect anyone to do so, especially after the hate I'm getting for receiving that man's attention" Logan gestured to the students that still threw him the occasional glare and the man that was still speaking, leading them to various parts of the academy.
"Well it's not really surprising considering that 'that man' is the Life Magus" Orion revealed.
The Life Magus, one of the three Royal Magi of the Kingdom, no wonder they hated him for getting his attention. People would literally kill to be noticed by such a renowned person.
"Logan, my name is Logan" Logan revealed with a sigh to Orion whose usual smile grew wider,
"Well Logan, while we're still doing this whole orientation thing, might if I ask you something?" Orion suddenly asked.
"If someone were to attempt to destroy the academy, are you willing to kill to stop the person?" Orion asked, his tone serious,
"Honestly, If I have nothing to lose from the academy's destruction, I might let it happen maybe even join the person if it suits me" Logan paused,
"But if it's to my detriment, I'll be willing to break the rules of reality themselves to stop the person" He completed and studied Orion's reaction.
Much to his surprise, Orion smiled, "Good. You're pragmatic, just like I suspected" Orion's tone went back to its playful tone,
'Does he plan to attack the academy? Is he working with someone?' Logan's mind surged with questions.
"Oh, I forgot to ask you what your element was" Orion called out to Logan,
"Darkness" Logan replied almost instantly, "From ignoring me to answering my questions in a near instant" Orion joked,
"As for my element…" Orion started, "It's metal" he finished.
