Andy's POV
Andy walked down the hallway. Well, technically he was pacing. He didn't know why he was so nervous. He knew she was his mate as soon as she walked into the room yesterday.
She had opened the door to the conference room and her scent had overtaken him. He almost lost control of his wolf. He gripped his chair so hard his knuckles turned white. All he could do was stare at her.
She had noticed him staring, but he couldn't look away. She seemed like it was making her uncomfortable. She didn't feel the bond. He wasn't sure why since he was an Alpha wolf. He would one day take over the pack and the company from his father.
Andy's felt frustrated. He wanted to see her so bad to make sure she was okay. When she fainted, he lost it. He jumped to catch her before she hit the table disturbing Mary who sat between them. He had laid her carefully on the floor before Dr. Timberman insisted on taking care of her. His father had pulled him aside sensing that he had some connection to her.
Now, Andy was pacing outside her dorm room door. He heard Eve inside. She was in charge of watching over Terri.
Andy took a deep breath. He barely knocked on the door. He heard Eve coming to the door.
She opened it slowly as not to wake Terri. Her eyebrows rose when she saw him.
"I was instructed to take the night watch so you could get some rest." Andy told her. It was a lie of course, but Eve wouldn't know that.
"Oh, Dr. Timberman had instructed me to stay with her tonight." Eve said looking back to where Terri slept on her bed.
"Well, there's been a change I guess." Andy told her. He pushed the door open further and went into the room.
Eve shrugged her shoulders and began getting her belongings to leave. She walked slowly tip toeing out the door and pulled it quietly shut behind her.
Andy turned to stare at Terri. She was even more beautiful when she slept. Her brown hair spread across the top of her pillow. Her back was to him and he noticed a skimpy spaghetti strap top. It was probably a good thing she was facing the wall, so he couldn't see the front of her shirt.
Andy shook his head lightly. He needed to focus so he kept his wolf under control. He decided to splash some cold water on his face.
Andy went into Terri's bathroom. It might have been a mistake. Her bra and panties from the day before were laying on the floor where she had obviously changed when Eve was here. Her floral smell was intoxicating.
Moon Goddess please give me the control of a saint. Andy thought to himself as he pulled the door almost shut and turned on the cold tap. The cold water helped get his emotions and feelings back under control.
Andy forced himself to keep his eyes up so he didn't see her undergarments again. Even thinking about them made him harden. He inhaled deeply. He would have to get used to her scent and learn to control his wolf around her.
This is going to be a long night. He thought to himself.
He wiped his face with a hand towel then exited the bathroom.
Andy decided he wouldn't be able to sleep, so he took out his laptop and began working on his English Essay that was due in a week.
He had always been a great student. He was one of the smartest and top of his class. It was expected of him being the future CEO of the company and Alpha of the pack.
Tanner had it so much easier since he was adopted. He didn't have to meet all the expectations that Andy had to meet. Their Dad wasn't as hard on him, but also didn't treat him well either. Tanner had always been Moms favorite.
Andy worked through the night on his paper and other homework. He would glance in Terri's direction every so often, but she seemed to be resting peacefully.
Once his homework was finished, he got his sketch pad out and began to draw her. This helped him focus. It also calmed his wolf.
Terri stirred around 3 AM. She turned and mumbled in her sleep. Andy looked over at her and froze. Her top was definitely revealing. He rose and took a deep breath. Then, walked over to pull her blankets further around her. He ran his fingertips across the top of her head. This seemed to calm her.
It seemed her sleep was disrupted the rest of the night. She tossed and turned back and forth. Her hands gripping her blanket, her feet pushing at the air, and her facial expression appearing strained.
Andy wanted to comfort her, but knew if he laid down next to her he would lose his resolve. He soothed her by running his fingers through her hair. He pulled her blankets back around her.
Finally, around 6 in the morning she seemed to sleep peacefully again. Andy sat beside her bed just looking at her beautiful features. How did he get so lucky?
Andy dozed off with his head laid on her bed and his fingers in her hair. She began to stir again around 7:15. Andy quickly moved to her desk chair and sat waiting for her to wake fully. He put away his laptop.
Terri seemed shocked that he was in her room. He couldn't help but smirk the way she jumped and covered herself quickly. If she only knew.
