Chapter 8 - Study session?

Andy's POV

"Why are you running around the house acting so crazy?" Tanner watched Andy zoom by his door yet again with a different shirt on. "Haven't you changed your shirt like 3 times now? Your as bad as Mom." He laughed out loud.

"Shut the freak up!" Andy yelled walking back by again.

"Just tell her she's your mate already and get it on!" Tanner yelled out the door before slamming it shut.

Andy rolled his eyes. He had cleaned the den up earlier in the morning. He wanted to make sure everything was ready for when Terri and the others arrived. His mom had helped him prepare snacks. She promised to keep their Dad occupied with a golf outing then with dinner out. However, he wasn't fortunate enough to get rid of Tanner for the day. He really needed to get some friends that weren't all Andy's friends.

Andy debated for awhile which car to take. He needed enough room for 4 so he couldn't take the sports or luxury cars. He also didn't want Terri to see him as conceded. He decided the H3 wasn't to out there with the selection his family had to choose from.

He wanted to impress Terri but not to overwhelm her. It had taken him a month of consistency to get her to seem interested. He was a bit shy when it came to women and especially since he knew Terri was his mate. She also seemed extremely shy or oblivious. He wasn't sure which.

"She is our mate. She doesn't care what car we take or if the house is clean. She wants us as much as we want her." Coy told Andy in his mind.

Andy couldn't figure out why she didn't feel the mate bond. His hands ached to touch her. His lips wanted to taste her. Her scent was intoxicating to him. He started getting hard thinking of her. He quickly adjusted himself then headed off to the garage to clean up the H3.

While in the garage, Phil pulled up. He parked in his normal spot by the pole barn. Phil knew his way around the property. Andy had been friends with him since they were young. He was one of the pack members that Andy could depend on. Andy would probably make him either Beta or Gamma eventually. It really depended on what Phil wanted. He had big dreams for college and wasa geniusin Science.

"Hey man!" Phil said coming in the side garage door. "We're taking the H3?"

"Yeah." Andy replied not giving an explanation.

Phil walked over to the sterio and turned on some rick. Then he helped Andy wash off the seats and pick up trash. It wasn't long before the car's interior was clean.

"So, I told Eve about the pool and the hot tub. She and Terri are going to bring their suits. I figured it would be a good cool down after the all day study session." Phil confessed after they started to town.

Andy rolled his eyes and gripped the steering wheel tighter. He hadn't suggested swimming because he didn't know if he would be able to control himself seeing Terri in a swimsuit. He thought about her curves in all the right places and her long brown hair all wet from the water. He started to picture her in a bathing suit and had to stop himself because Phil was in the car with him. He reached over and turned on some country tunes and distracted himself with the music.

September in Indiana was always a beautiful time. The weather wasn't to hot, but it wasn't fall yet either. The trees were still green but a few were beginning to change to a different hue.

The drive to campus was about 20 minutes. Andy rolled down the windows to enjoy some fresh air. This would help clear his mind from the thoughts of Terri in a bathing suit. He hummed along to the radio playing Kenny Chesney, Anything but Mine.

Phil must have noticed he wasn't in the mood to talk because he turned to look out the window instead. Phil could always read Andy well. He probably knew Andy was anxious about the day and wanted things to go well.

Andy drove to the car wash to get the outside of the H3 clean. It was probably pointless with the country roads he had to take home, but it was a part of his plan for the day so he did it. After the first time, he noticed bugs still on the front so he went through again.

As he pulled up to the dorms, he looked up at Terri's window. He had memorized which window was hers over the last few weeks. Terri had told him not to watch her sleep anymore, but she hadn't mentioned anything about hanging in the parking lot in his car at night. He usually just stayed until he knew she was asleep. He had tried to convince his parents to let him have a dorm room this year, but his mom had refused. She wanted him home and safe she would always say.

He could see movement in Terri's window.

"Eve texted to meet at Terri's room." Phil told him. Then opened his door and got out stretching his long frame.

Andy opened the door and took a deep breath of fresh air. The campus was near a small city, but still surrounded by woods. This was best suited for the pack members that stayed in the dormitory. Not all of the students here were wolves so they had to be careful. If they needed to take a run in wolf form they had to go into the Forrest for a bit before shifting.

Phil lead the way up stairs toward Terri's room. Andy followed giddy with anticipation of what the day would bring. He shoved his hands deep in his pockets before Phil knocked on the door.
