Ethan excitedly held his computer as he came over and looked at Alex, only to find him sitting upright amidst the strange atmosphere around the room.
Mechanically, he turned around, meeting Steven's deadly gaze.
"B-big Brother? Why are you here?"
Steven stared him down and replied, "Why? Do you wish I weren’t here?"
Ethan quickly waved his hands with a smile.

Steven's fingers tapped lightly on the armrest of the chair, his voice floating.

Only then did Ethan notice the live broadcast screen behind Steven, swallowing hard as he looked back at Alex.
