Chapter 10 - chapter 10 Shadow's poison Memory

Alia gave a faint smile and replied, "Yes, I'm fine. Are you well? Everything okay?" But there was a trace of unease in her eyes-she knew Ena's husband had noticed something unusual about her, yet she didn't want to extend the conversation further.

Just then, Viktor entered the party. His presence instantly stirred discomfort in Alia's body. As he walked in, her heartbeat quickened, and anxiety surged through her mind. She knew Viktor's arrival wasn't meaningless-it was another sign of the darkness looming over her life.

Viktor slowly made his way toward Alia. She realized she was now completely cornered. She couldn't leave the party, nor could she escape the situation. She had no choice but to face Viktor.

Alia began to walk slowly toward the washroom, trying to avoid him. But just then, Viktor caught up to her and said in a cold voice, "Where are you going, Princess?"

The words startled Alia slightly. A strange fear and tension rushed through her, but she tried to steady herself and replied, "Nothing, I just need a moment alone."

Viktor looked her straight in the eyes for a second, as if he knew very well that Alia wouldn't be able to control herself in this situation. Then, with a chilling smile, he said, "You're not going anywhere, Princess."

Alia knew that she had to handle the situation calmly at that moment. But if she wanted to break free from Viktor's grasp, she would need to come up with a new plan-and fast.

As Viktor Alia on the forehead, a storm swept through her mind. She stood there silently for a moment, utterly unsettled. Viktor's behavior had been completely unexpected, filled with a kind of intense emotion that Alia hadn't anticipated. She remained still, trying to compose herself, but that strange act of Viktor's only deepened her confusion.

Just then, Ena came and stood beside her. In a concerned tone, she asked, "Alia, what's wrong? You're standing here like a statue."

Alia took a deep breath before answering softly, "Nothing, Ena. It's nothing." Her voice carried uncertainty and confusion, but she tried to remain strong.

Ena gave her a suspicious look but didn't say anything more and walked away. Alia realized that the situation she was in was extremely difficult. Viktor's presence made her feel even more unsure and afraid.

Now, Alia needed to find a new strength and determination within herself, because she knew showing any weakness to Viktor would be dangerous. His words chilled her. Though his voice remained cold and steady, there was a strange intensity to it that unsettled her.

Viktor's demand-"I don't want you to belong to anyone else. You are mine, and you will be mine"-felt entirely unacceptable to Alia. It wasn't just a threat; it was a clear attempt to control her. She realized that Viktor was trying to mold her according to his own desires.

Alia stood silently, a fierce conflict brewing inside her. She knew it was crucial to resist this psychological pressure and possessiveness. But the situation had become deeply complicated.

Gathering her strength, she spoke firmly, "Viktor, I don't want to belong to anyone. I will choose my own path, and no one can force me."

Viktor looked at her, surprised, but his cold smile and the hidden threat in his tone faded slightly. He knew this battle wouldn't be easy. But Alia wouldn't back down anymore.

She noticed Viktor was starting to pull away. Though her mind remained clouded, she decided to walk away firmly. But at that exact moment, Viktor grabbed her hand and pulled her close. His strong grip was firm, and the look on his face held a strange sense of urgency and control.

"You can't go anywhere, Alia," Viktor said coldly. "You're mine. And you have no idea what you're about to lose."

Though frightened, Alia started to find strength within herself. She knew she had to keep her cool to face this situation. She tried to pull away using all the force she had.

"Viktor, let me go," she said with unwavering determination. "I don't want to be under your control."

But Viktor let out a cold smile and said, "You'll stay with me, Alia. My plans for you are still undisclosed."

Alia knew that if she didn't stand strong now, Viktor would completely overpower her. She struggled to free herself from his grip. In that moment, a flash of anger and disgust passed through her eyes. Her heart was filled with fear, panic, and a deep sense of danger. But she also knew-it was time to respond to Viktor's erratic behavior.

She shook off her fear and roared, "Hey, will you let go of me or not?"

Her voice was full of strength and defiance, standing tall against Viktor's dominance. Viktor gripped her tighter, but Alia didn't flinch.

"If you don't let me go, I'll leave on my own," she declared, the fire of resistance burning in her eyes.

Viktor was slightly shaken. A flicker of uncertainty appeared in his eyes, though his smile softened, as if unsure how to react to Alia's courage.

In that moment, Alia understood-only her strength and mindset could free her from Viktor's destructive control.

Suddenly, Viktor picked her up and began carrying her toward his Lamborghini. Alia, shocked and terrified, shouted, "Let me go! I'm not going with you!" Her voice was strong and determined, but she couldn't break free from Viktor's firm grip.

At that exact moment, Ena appeared. She rushed toward them, grabbed Alia, and pulled her away from Viktor. Ena's strength and confidence were like a safe haven for Alia.

If Viktor didn't let go, Ena calmly said, "Alia is coming with me, Viktor. Let her go."

Viktor remained silent for a few moments, his cold smile fading as he stared at them with a strange aggression. Then, without saying a word, he backed away.

Alia and Ena stood silently, looking at each other. Alia realized she wasn't alone-her friends and people around her were her safety. But inside, she still feared Viktor and felt a lingering tension that made her more alert and prepared.

Back home, as soon as Alia entered her room, she broke down into tears. The flood of emotions couldn't be held back-fear, anxiety, helplessness-all mixed together in a painful storm.

Her younger sister, Sofia, rushed in and asked, "Apu, what happened? Why are you crying like this?"

Sofia tried to calm her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. Alia couldn't stop crying.

Sofia gently said, "I'm here with you, Apu. Please, tell me what happened."

In a shaky voice, Alia replied, "Sofia, I don't know what's happening... I'm scared. Everything feels out of control."

Sofia hugged her tightly and whispered softly, "Don't be afraid, Apu. We'll get through this together. I know you're strong. You're fighting a hard battle, but I'm with you."

Those words brought a little peace to Alia's heart, but the shadows of Viktor's controlling behavior still haunted her mind. Sofia's comfort gave her some strength, but she knew a bigger fight awaited her.

Three years passed. Alia slowly found peace within herself. Her mind became more stable, though Viktor's mysterious presence still occasionally troubled her. They spoke on WhatsApp sometimes, but their relationship never deepened.

Alia knew she had to stay in control. But there was always a silent fear in her heart.

One day, she discovered something shocking-through a friend or a secret source, she learned Viktor wasn't a cop or a mafia leader. He was, in fact, a senior intelligence officer.
