Chapter 12 - chapter 12Shadow's true identity

Afterward, Alia left without once looking back, her mind and heart overwhelmed with multiple questions and conflicts. When she returned home, she sat quietly, as if she had received a new shock. There was a deep restlessness within her, but she knew that at this moment, she was stepping into a new path, though it was very difficult.

It was the day of Alia and Viktor's engagement. The surroundings were illuminated with bright lights, and the decorations were extravagant. In the middle of all this, Alia, in her beautiful red dress, looked like a princess. There was a certain firmness in her eyes, but also a strange silence. She knew that this was the moment for one of the biggest decisions of her life, yet she held herself strong.

Viktor stood there with a cold smile on his face. He didn't say anything, but his eyes carried a strange sense of satisfaction. There was something in his smile that made Alia even more restless. She glared at him with anger, her eyes flashing as if she wanted to express all her pain and frustration.

But Viktor said nothing. He simply smiled, as though Alia's anger or resistance meant nothing to him. Viktor's dominance, his cold and authoritative demeanor, made Alia even more unsettled, even though she was trying to maintain her own strength.

During the engagement, there were no words exchanged between them, but in their eyes, so much was communicated. Alia knew that her relationship with Viktor was not just a contract; it was much more-and now, she had to be more cautious. Amid the engagement celebration, a silent conflict continued between Alia and Viktor. The more Alia tried to control her emotions and thoughts, the more an inner rebellion and anxiety grew within her. Viktor's cold smile, his silence-these things made her even more restless.

In this situation, Alia tried to remain outwardly calm with her appearance and strength, but her distrust and anger toward Viktor were internally harming her even more. She knew that this engagement was not just a social event-it was a part of her life, her freedom, and one of the biggest decisions of her future.

At that moment, Viktor, still holding his cold smile, looked at Alia, as if completely indifferent to her decision. Alia again glared at him with angry eyes, but Viktor didn't say anything; his smile just became even more faint.

It was as though there was a deep struggle-Alia's internal fight for her freedom, and Viktor's control, his unseen display of power. Alia knew that at this moment, she had to find strength within herself, for more difficult times were ahead.

The moments during the engagement brought a sense of restlessness into Alia's life, where her future now stood as a big question mark.

One month later, Alia and Viktor's wedding was a grand and elaborate affair. The wedding day's decorations were royal, and everyone was captivated. Alia wore a beautiful and elegant white dress, which highlighted her beauty and strong personality. There was a strange determination and confidence in her eyes, as though she was stepping into a new chapter of her life.

However, Alia was somewhat surprised to see Viktor. She knew that Viktor, just some time ago, didn't adhere to any Islamic values or traditions, but now he was fully embracing Islam and participating in their wedding. Viktor had converted to Islam, and this decision was unexpected for Alia.

Viktor, standing there, seemed somewhat solemn, but there was a sense of respect and responsibility toward Alia in his eyes. Alia had considered this decision, as Viktor's transformation opened a new chapter in his life. Although this change was an important decision for Alia, there were still many questions and doubts in her mind.

The wedding day was beautiful, but it was also surrounded by a complex situation. Alia knew that both she and Viktor had to walk a new path now, where they would need to maintain a balance between their identities and religious values.

Now, both of them were moving forward toward a new life together, but Alia always had questions about Viktor's past and the decision he had made.

On their wedding day, Alia and Viktor began a new journey in life. Amid the celebrations and colorful arrangements, every moment of their relationship seemed to grow more complicated. Alia knew that this wedding was about much more than just the union of two people-it was about religion, family traditions, and their future.

Viktor's conversion to Islam was a surprising decision. It had caught Alia off guard, as she knew Viktor had been living a completely different life until now. But now, a new aspect of his life had emerged.

Although Alia was somewhat skeptical and surprised, she knew there must be a deeper reason behind Viktor's decision. This change in him-whether it would help reshape Alia's life alongside his-was a big question. In Viktor's eyes, Alia seemed to be moving toward a new world-but he knew that she still had much to learn, especially in matters of faith and values.

After the wedding, Alia and Viktor's life became even more complicated. Alia began to question whether her new husband was truly ready for this transformation. She knew that making this decision hadn't been easy for Viktor, but now she had to understand that the foundation of their relationship was no longer just about social or religious agreements-it depended on much more.

But Alia was determined. She knew that for this new chapter of her life, she would need strength and patience because they were now embarking on a new journey together. She had to find balance between her own beliefs, faith, and identity, and help Viktor learn to stay by her side.

After the wedding, Alia and Viktor started their new life, but Alia knew that many challenges awaited them. However, she was ready with a firm mindset, knowing this was a fight she had to face for her own identity and happiness.

Alia's mother, speaking in Russian, addressed Viktor:

"Ты заботься о моей дочери, не причиняй ей боль."

("Take care of my daughter, don't cause her pain.")

Viktor, somewhat surprised, but responding with respect, answered in Russian:

"Я буду заботиться о ней, обещаю."

("I will take care of her, I promise.")

Thus, they conversed in Russian, and Alia's mother expressed her trust and concern to Viktor, urging him to be responsible and caring toward her daughter. This was a significant moment for Alia, as her mother was expressing her trust and concern for Viktor.
