"Am I Falling in Love?"
This question had been echoing in Hiroshi's mind for a long time, more than he would have liked. For him, falling in love wasn't new, but this time it was different. Normally, he would fall in love with things rather than people, like acting or singing.
Of course, in his past life, Hiroshi had fallen for a few girls, but nothing very serious. Before, it was a simple infatuation, where once he stopped seeing or talking to the person he was in love with, they would simply disappear from his mind.
But this time, he just couldn't stop thinking about the person in question. 'Frill Shiranui…' It was as if she had made him shift all his thoughts to focus solely on her. It was as if her mere presence drew all of Hiroshi's being to look directly at her.
'Maybe I'm really falling in love.' Feeling this emotion genuinely for the first time, Hiroshi adjusts some of his plans.
'Is it wrong for me to want to be perfect for her?' Pensive, Hiroshi continues with this doubt in his mind throughout the afternoon classes.
'Maybe I'm rushing things here.' Thinking rationally, Hiroshi begins to consider points that might be causing him to think this way. 'Maybe it's due to teenage hormones. It must be that.' Normally, teenagers his age seem like they're driven by hormones, and Hiroshi thinks what might be motivating him to act this way are these damned hormones.
However, the first step for someone who falls in love and doesn't want to admit it is exactly what he's doing now: denying the events.
As Hiroshi searches for reasons and motives in his head, lost in his own thoughts, some people outside, or rather his classmates, noticed that he had been like this for some time.
Minami and Ruby started whispering to each other: "Is he okay?"
"How would I know?" Continuing to discuss the guy in front of them, they watched him more closely.
After a while, another person who was also observing him closely finally breaks Hiroshi's trance and asks, "Are you okay, Takahashi-san?"
Coming back to reality, Hiroshi gives a light smile to Frill, who asked if he was okay, and says, "Thanks for asking. I'm fine, just thinking about some things." Hearing the response from the person in question, Frill does not delve deeper. "If you say so, then it's okay."
Leaving things as they are for now, Hiroshi remembers the call he received last night.
While Hiroshi was sitting in his room watching some random movie, he received a call from an unknown number. Without thinking much, assuming it was a wrong number, he answered, already expecting to tell the caller they had dialed the wrong person.
But to his surprise, the call was from someone looking specifically for him. "Hello, am I speaking with Hiroshi Takahashi?"
Breaking from the norm, Hiroshi sees that someone is indeed looking for him. Wanting to understand who was calling, Hiroshi replies, "Yes, this is him. Who is calling?" On the other end of the call, a man responds with strange enthusiasm, "Great, I got your number from Strawberry Productions. I have a proposal for you, would you like to hear it?"
Hearing the name of his agency, Hiroshi relaxes a bit and becomes somewhat excited about what the proposal might be. "Sure! I'm all ears."
"Well, I'm Producer Kaburagi, and I'd like to have you on my Reality Show."
Hearing the familiar name and the proposal to work on a Reality Show, Hiroshi starts imagining the possibilities.
"Tell me more about the Reality Show itself."
Talking more about the program, Hiroshi can now conclude. 'I'm really going to be on We're About to Fall in Love for Real!'
Considering the possibilities, Hiroshi realizes this could be a stepping stone for his TV acting career. But putting that aside, Hiroshi wants to confirm one more thing and asks Producer Kaburagi before accepting the role, "Why did you choose me to participate in this program?" Hearing Hiroshi's question, Kaburagi immediately responds, "Because I was told you have a good appearance. You could be popular on the show, that's why."
Not expecting anything less from this person, Hiroshi just gives an awkward laugh. Responding to Kaburagi's proposal, Hiroshi says, "Yes, I accept to work on your Reality Show." Hearing exactly the answer he wanted to hear, Kaburagi says, "Great, I'll send the contracts to your agency. They will explain more about the show, the days, and the location where you will need to go to act."
Hearing some more explanations, Hiroshi finally secures a place where he can prove his worth and talent, or rather just the beginning of his journey, which now extends to television.
After thinking about the work ahead, Hiroshi managed to calm down regarding the thoughts that were tormenting him. Unfortunately for Hiroshi, he would only be able to work on the Reality Show on weekends.
While facing his internal demons, another situation arose for Hiroshi. After saying goodbye to some friends he made today, he headed home. But while walking, he received a call, this time from someone he knew. Seeing that it was President Miyako, he answered quickly.
"Hello, Hiroshi." Greeting her back, Miyako continues, "I'll be straightforward with you. Can you come to the agency now? I need you. It's about your music career."
Hearing words that pleased his ears, Hiroshi responds promptly, "Okay. I'm on my way." A change of route doesn't affect Hiroshi much, who happily walks towards Strawberry Productions.
'I hope everything goes well.' With these words, Hiroshi charts a new course, heading towards an uncertain but surely bright future!
