"Cloud Shinobi's Demon?"
Tsunade's brow furrowed, memories flickering in her mind."I knew the name sounded familiar. Wasn't he your First Generation's strongest warrior?"
She glanced at Fourth Raikage, frowning skeptically."My second grandfather once told me he was defeated by my grandfather. At most, he was Raikage-level. Why are you acting like you've seen a ghost?"
The Fourth Raikage didn't answer. His jaw clenched tightly.
Tsunade continued, confused."I mean, I get that he was strong, but now we've got five Kage together. You're really telling me a dead man still scares you?"
At that moment, the aged clone of Ōnoki the Fence-Sitter chuckled bitterly.
"Tsunade… you're too young. There are truths hidden even from you."
Tsunade turned sharply. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Ōnoki's expression darkened with nostalgia and dread."Your Second Grandfather, Tobirama, wouldn't have told you everything. We old men—those who were there—we know the truth."
"That battle… wasn't won by just Hashirama. It wasn't one-on-one."
"It took the combined strength of Senju Hashirama, Senju Tobirama, and Uchiha Madara just to bring Zaraki Kenpachi down."
Tsunade gasped, stunned. "You're saying… all three of them fought him together?!"
Ōnoki nodded solemnly."They fought for five days and five nights straight. Even with Hashirama at his peak, they couldn't take him down alone."
"When the battle ended, Kenpachi was dead… but so was the era."
"Hashirama died from his injuries not long after. Madara disappeared. And Tobirama inherited the title."
Tsunade staggered backward, gripping the table.
"That's… impossible. Grandfather died from illness… after sealing the Tailed Beasts…"
Ōnoki shook his head again.
"That's the official story. Tobirama made sure of it—he knew the image of the First Hokage had to remain untarnished for Konoha's stability."
"But those of us who lived it? We know the truth."
Tsunade's eyes darted across the table, disbelief crashing against the cold weight of reality.
"Do you know why the Land of Fire and the Land of Lightning don't border each other anymore?"
She froze.
Ōnoki's voice dropped to a whisper.
"Because Kenpachi's last swing before death split the border in two. That canyon wasn't formed by nature—it was carved by one man."
Silence gripped the command center.
Even Tsunade, granddaughter of the God of Shinobi, couldn't deny what she was hearing.
A single strike… cleaving a continent.
Mabui slowly turned to the Raikage.
Her eyes asked what no one dared voice aloud:"Is that even possible?"
Raikage finally spoke.
"The truth of Kenpachi Zaraki is passed down only among the Raikages."
"He was a monster. Not a trained shinobi—a born warrior. Never trained. Never studied. Never molded by anyone but the battlefield."
"Every day he fought was like eating. Every fight made him stronger. He didn't rise through ranks—he tore through them."
"The First Raikage said: If Kenpachi had trained like others… he would've been unstoppable."
Tsunade slumped back into her chair, speechless.
"Three years…" Raikage said.
"From nothing… to that."
A shinobi who rose from Genin to Super Kage-level in only three years.
A level even Hashirama could only match by teaming up.
Tsunade's heart pounded.
"If that's true… and if he's been revived… then we're in more danger than we realized."
Her face paled.
"And worst of all… we were the ones who killed him."
Her mind raced. If he remembers what Konoha did—what her family did—then this war would become personal.
"Yamanaka Haichi!"
The sensory shinobi stiffened.
"Connect me to the entire Alliance. Now!"
On the battlefield…
The clash of chakra and steel echoed across the desert.
Suddenly—
"This is Tsunade of the Allied Shinobi Forces. Attention, all units!"
Heads snapped upward. Temari looked to the sky.
"It's the Fifth Hokage's voice!"
"Everyone listen carefully!"
Tsunade's voice echoed across every front.
"There is a man among the enemy—a swordsman in black armor, with a jagged blade."
"He is Zaraki Kenpachi—the Demon of Cloud Shinobi. A monster from the Warring States era."
"Do not engage! Repeat—retreat if you encounter him!"
Gasps swept through the ranks. Shinobi from every village froze.
Temari's squad looked at each other in disbelief.
"A Warring States monster?!"
At the front of the Second Division, Gaara and his troops also received the message.
For a moment, all movement stopped.
"Even the deadliest of legends… have returned."
And somewhere across the battlefield, a black-clad warrior raised his head.
His jagged blade dragged across the sand.
Zaraki Kenpachi grinned.
"Hmph. Finally… they remember."
"Now… who wants to die next?"
