Chapter 10 - Summon Uchiha Madara

Silence.A suffocating silence fell over the battlefield.

Thousands of shinobi stood motionless, eyes wide, mouths agape.

They couldn't believe what they had just heard.

"Did I… hear that right…?"

"He doesn't care he was killed?"

"He's not even angry at Konoha…?"

This wasn't vengeance.

This was something entirely beyond their understanding.

Kenpachi, the man who was struck down by the combined force of the First Hokage and his comrades in the Sengoku era—didn't even hold a grudge.

"It wasn't hatred. It was just… a fight?"

"A happy fight?!"

It was then the shinobi realized something terrifying:

Their thoughts, their logic, even their concept of why people fight—meant nothing to this man.

Kenpachi wasn't bound by ideals or politics.

He didn't care about sides, nations, or revenge.

To him, battle was the only truth.

From the center of the ruined battlefield, Kenpachi raised his voice, irritated:

"Tch. Are you still babbling?"

"Revenge on Konoha? For what? They killed me, yeah—because the fight was good!"

"You think I lost something? I gained the best fight of my life!"

"Now quit wasting my time!"

His eye gleamed like a blade drawn from a sheath.

"You! Impure World kid! Call Madara back out here! I'm not done with him yet!"

"And you lot—" he turned to the stunned Ninja Alliance—"Where are your strongest? Huh?!"

"Bring me your monsters, your gods, your demons! I'm starving!"

Kenpachi's voice thundered like a war drum across the battlefield.

He didn't want diplomacy.He didn't want revenge.He wanted a feast of combat.

This war—this Fourth Great Ninja War—was his buffet.

Meanwhile, deep within the cavern, Yakushi Kabuto crushed a chess piece in fury.

A fragment of bone cracked under his fingers.

The chessboard before him was now shattered—its pieces, representing the powerful resurrected shinobi, were broken one by one.

"Damn it!"

All that effort. All those corpses. All the preparation—and Kenpachi shredded it like paper.

Obito's voice cut through the shadows beside him.

"So... You've lost control?"

Kabuto clenched his jaw.

"Yes. I underestimated him."

"I thought I could bind him to my will. I forgot—someone like him doesn't have a master."

"He follows no one. Not even death."

For a brief moment, Kabuto's confidence wavered.

"Then cancel it," Obito said coldly."Release the jutsu. Sacrifice the piece."

Kabuto shook his head quickly.

"No. If I do that, every single reincarnated shinobi under my control will vanish."

"Kenpachi may be out of control—but he's still a weapon. I won't give him up."

Obito narrowed his eyes.

"Then how do you plan to stop him?"

Kabuto took a slow breath.

"With more power."

Suddenly, Kabuto formed a new set of seals—more complex, more dangerous.

"If he won't obey, then I'll call someone who can match him…"

His voice was low.

A whisper.

A name.

"Uchiha Madara."

The air in the cave grew thick with killing intent.

Even Obito's eyes flickered for a moment in surprise.

"You're summoning him?"

Kabuto nodded, smiling thinly.

"The most terrifying existence from the past… the one man who stood at the peak of the old world."

"Let's see what happens when the Demon of the Sengoku Era meets the God of the Uchiha Clan."

"If Kenpachi wants a fight—"

"Then I'll give him a war."
