Scene 1: Ainur's House – Late Night, After the Proposal
Ainur sits alone in her room, staring at her reflection. Her hair is down. Her cheeks are flushed—not from embarrassment, but from a war inside her heart.
She whispers to herself:
"Why does it feel wrong… when it's supposed to be right?"
She opens her old journal again and sees Arman's note.
"You were always the one I read. I just didn't know how to write myself beside you."
She hugs the journal to her chest.
Scene 2: Village Orchard – Early Morning
Ainur walks to the orchard. It's peaceful, golden light shining through the leaves. She sees something tied to a tree branch.
A red chapan (Kazakh coat). She steps closer. A note is pinned to it:
"You always got cold in the orchard."
She turns—and he's standing there.
Not close. Not far.
ARMAN (quietly):
"I heard about the proposal. I won't ask what you said."
(Pause)
"I just need to tell you one thing… before I lose the right."
She watches him. Her eyes are soft now, but still guarded.
ARMAN (deep breath):
"You weren't a maybe. You were my always.
Even when I left… you were the only home I missed."
Scene 3: Arman's Grandfather's Barn — That Afternoon
He invites her to help with his grandfather's old barn, which he's restoring. Inside, she finds a wall filled with sketches—of her.
Small things:
• Her laughing under a tree
• Her tying her braid
• Her crying the day he left
She turns to him in shock.
ARMAN:
"I couldn't talk to you… so I drew everything I never said."
Ainur steps closer.
AINUR (tears in her eyes):
"You hurt me, Arman."
ARMAN:
"I know. And I will spend every day proving I never should have."
A long silence.
Then—she touches his hand.
Scene 4: The Hilltop – Sunset
They sit together at the highest hill. She rests her head on his shoulder.
AINUR:
"I didn't say yes to Yerzhan."
ARMAN (barely breathing):
"You didn't?"
AINUR (smiling):
"How could I, when the one who broke me is the only one who knows how to put me back together?"
