Scene 1: Village Tea House — Morning
Ainur sits with her aunt and cousin, pouring tea into small porcelain cups. She's quieter than usual—her thoughts elsewhere.
COUSIN (teasing):
"You've been floating like a ghost these days. Still dreaming about someone tall and stubborn?"
Ainur blushes slightly but says nothing. Outside the window, Arman passes by with a basket of apples. Their eyes meet for a split second. She quickly looks away.
Scene 2: Garden Bench — That Evening
Ainur sits outside alone. Arman walks up, sits beside her.
ARMAN (softly):
"I don't expect you to forget the pain.
But I'm still here. Every day. Because I meant what I said."
She finally looks at him. A long pause.
AINUR (gently):
"And if I never feel safe with you again?"
ARMAN:
"Then I'll spend forever making you feel safe without asking for anything back."
She doesn't speak… but she doesn't walk away.
Scene 3: Family Dinner — A Shocking Twist
That night, a knock at the door. Ainur's father welcomes in a guest: Yerzhan—the son of a wealthy friend of the family.
He sits at the table, smiles politely… and then speaks.
YERZHAN (to Ainur's father):
"As agreed, I've come to formally ask for Ainur's hand in marriage."
The room goes silent.
Ainur drops her spoon.
Arman, standing in the corner, freezes—his jaw Scene 4: Outside the House — After Dinner
Arman storms off into the dark. Ainur chases after him.
AINUR:
"You knew this had nothing to do with you!"
ARMAN (angry, broken):
"Then why does it feel like you just got engaged with the last piece of me still in your hand?"
He walks away. This time, Ainur doesn't stop him.
