The heat was unbearable now. The lava sea roared around them, and smoke covered the sky like a fiery curtain. The team stood ready, their new powers glowing faintly... but something darker was approaching.
Suddenly, from the flames, Fire Storm raised his blazing arm toward the mountains.
Fire Storm: (with fury)Stone Army Boss! Come forth!
A tall, stone-armored figure emerged from the burning shadows, his body made of dark obsidian and magma veins.
Stone Army Boss: (bowing)Yes, Master Fire Storm, how can I help you?
Fire Storm: (pointing toward the heroes)Call every army.Summon every captain.We will crush them here and now!
Stone Army Boss: (raising his arm to the skies)Let every captain and army hear this call—To the battlefield!
One by one, fire soldiers and captains appeared from the smoke:
Lava of Blaze, covered in glowing magma.
Fire Hound Captain, with flaming wolves at his feet.
A hundred soldiers behind them, weapons lit with burning runes.
Lava of Blaze: (echoing)Yes, master. We are ready.
Fire Hound Captain:At your command, master!
Fire Storm: (roaring with fury)THEN GO—KILL THEM ALL!
The armies charged. The ground cracked. The sky thundered. But the heroes were ready.
Lebewligs: (raising his fist)ROCK OF STARS!
A meteor-like boulder of shimmering energy crashed from the sky and turned half the enemy troops into stone.
Black Ocean: (laughing)Now they're statues!Frozen like scared little rocks!
Erea's Power: (shouting to Celebrass)Celebrass! Give me the Eye of Blaze—NOW!
Celebrass threw the glowing red orb. Erea's Power caught it and held it high.
Erea's Power:FIRE SMASH!
A giant wave of golden fire erupted from his palm, blasting through the lava field and wiping out the remaining army in a roaring explosion.
Wind's Magic: (shielding his eyes, then smiling)Yes!They're defeated.We did it... again.
The battlefield fell silent once more. The Sea of Blaze had lost another battle. But deeper in the lava, something still burned...
