Nova slowly began waking up with a groan, holding her head with her hand, as she felt the bandages wrapped around her head. "Jesus Christ, I feel like I got hit by truck-kun."
"Nova, you're awake." said Lloyd, relieved.
Nova looked around and saw that she was in the Land Bounty, along with Lloyd and Nya, who were driving it. "How long was I out?"
"A few hours, but we still got a long way until we arrive in Ninjago." said Nya.
"Well, this is a shift in the timeline, if anything. I would have thought that I would be out, until we were in Ninjago." Nova thought to herself, slowly getting up.
"Nova, I don't think it's a good idea for you to get up just yet." said Lloyd, getting up from his chair and walking over.
"Lloyd, I'm not some fragile girl, that is gonna break by simply standing." said Nova, only to then lose her balance when Nya hit something while driving. But Lloyd quickly caught her.
"No, but you are still recovering. And I'm not risking you getting more hurt." said Lloyd, having her sit back down, with him having an arm wrapped around. Holding her close.
Nova let out an annoyed huff, but went back to sitting down on the floor, with him. "Fine, but only till we get to Ninjago." She said, resting her head on his shoulder.
A soft smile grew on Lloyd's face. "That's all I'm asking for, moonie." He said, kissing her forehead.
Nova rolled her eyes as she blushed, but she was kind of getting used to it by now. "Looks like, we are gonna have to wait on that date. Until we've saved Ninjago once again." She said, but knew that it wouldn't happen after saving Ninjago. As she would also have to save Zane.
"Yeah, seems like it." said Lloyd, as he sighs. "But since we got a bit of time, until we are in Ninjago. How about we come up with some ideas for our date?"
Nova slowly looked up at him, and noticed the charming smile he was giving her. Causing her blush to grow. "S-sure, I wouldn't mind we do that."
Lloyd chuckled, seeing her face growing more red, but didn't say anything about it. "So to start with, how about we go to the movie theater. I've heard there is a new Starfarer movie coming up."
Nova giggled at that, not surprised he would choose that movie. "Sure, and then after we can go to a café."
"Then after we can go to the Amusement Park, and try a few rides." said Lloyd.
Nova gave a small nod, not minding that idea. "After that, we can go and have dinner."
"Sounds like a plan." said Lloyd, smiling at her. "But I do have a few questions."
Nova looked at him confused, raising an eyebrow at this. "What kind of questions?"
"Nothing bad, just wanna know a few more things about my girlfriend, is all." said Lloyd, with a shrug.
"....I guess there isn't anything wrong with that, I mean, we haven't spent that much time since we fought the oni. So it would make sense, that there are a few things we don't know about each other. Mostly me since, for Lloyd, he never got all personal with me when I was Delta." Nova thought to herself, before looking back up at him. "Okay, ask your questions. We've got time."
"What's your favorite color?" Lloyd asked.
"Hmmm, it would have to be between purple or green." said Nova.
Lloyd raised an eyebrow at her, along with a smirk. "Green you say."
Nova rolled her eyes, blushing a little. "Don't get ahead of yourself greenie, now what are your other questions?"
Lloyd chuckled at her growing a bit shy. "Favorite animal?"
"Are we talking about sea animals, land animals, or simply pets?" Nova asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Do I need to specify that too?" Lloyd gave her a questionable look.
Nova couldn't help laughing at the look on his face. "Yes."
Lloyd let out an annoyed groan. "You never makes things easy, do you."
"If I did, everything would just be boring." said Nova with another laugh.
"Okay, let me change the question then: What is your favorite animal in each of those categories?" Lloyd questioned.
"What categories are we talking about?" Nova asked, and couldn't hold back her laugh, as she saw the annoyed look on Lloyd's face.
"Oh, so you find this funny, do you." said Lloyd, a smirk grew on his face. And before Nova could even the change to get away, he began tickling her sides.
Nova squealed at this and was now bursting out laughing, she tried getting free of his hold. But he wasn't letting her get away. "L-Lloyd stop! *laughs* I-I mean it! *laughs* Please, stop!"
"Not until you apologize, and stop messing around when I ask a question." said Lloyd, still tickling her.
"Okay! Okay! *laughs* I-I'm sorry! *laughs* I'll stop m-messing around! *laughs* Now will you please! *laughs* Stop before I! *hiccup* Hiccups...." said Nova, now blushing since laughing so much had her let out hiccups that sounded like a squealing mouse.
Lloyd had stopped tickling her, and he, along with now Nya, stared at Nova when they heard her hiccups.
"What was that?" Nya asked.
Now it was Lloyd's turn, to start laughing at what he just heard, coming from Nova. "What! *laughs* Was! *laughs* That! *laughs* Sound!" He was holding his stomach while laughing.
Nova's face was now red like a tomato, while still letting out her squealing hiccups.
Nya was trying to hold back her laughter, but it didn't help, as she had gone on to tell the others what she found so funny.
And now everyone was having a laugh at it.
"I can't believe that coming from Nova." said Cole, laughing through the coms.
"I'm surprised she can even make that sound." said Jay, laughing too.
"I think it's quite fitting for her, I mean she is the shortest person here. So her having that kind of hiccup fits in." said Kai, laughing.
Nova hid her face in her hands, never having felt so embarrassed before. "By the First *hiccups* Spinjitzu Master, please *hiccups* end my suffering."
Lloyd slowly started to calm down from his laughing fit, and looked over at Nova, noticing how embarrassed she felt. "Hey, it's not that bad. I find it kind of cute."
"Well, I *hiccups* hate it." said Nova, still hiding her face.
A soft smile grew on Lloyd's face as he took her hands, and removed them from her face, so he could see her. But she turned her head, not wanting to look at him.
"Don't get shy on me now Ocea, I think it adds to your charming personality." said Lloyd, placing a hand on her cheek. Turning her head to look at him.
"I thought my personality was crappy." said Nova, looking at him with a few tears at the corner of her eyes.
Lloyd gave her a soft laugh, shaking his head. "If anyone has a crappy personality, it would be Kai."
"Hey! I heard that!" shouted Kai through the coms.
At that, Nova let out a soft giggle. "That is true."
"Hey!" came from Kai through the coms.
Lloyd smiled seeing her good mood, he gave her a kiss as he picked her up, and had her now sit on his lap.
"Now, how about we get back to those questions?" He said, raising a teasing eyebrow.
Nova rolled her eyes with a smile, before resting her head against his chest. "Fine, as to your questions earlier. My favorite sea animal is an orca, my land animal is a red panda, and my favorite pet is a dog."
Lloyd let out a small hum to her answers. "How about insects?"
"A butterfly." answered Nova.
"Any plants?" Lloyd asked.
"Flowers." answered Nova.
"Any specific flower?" Lloyd asked, fidgeting with some of Nova's lose hair.
"A lily, I've always found those very pretty." said Nova, with a soft smile.
"What about music?" Lloyd asked.
"Hmmm, that's a hard one. I guess I like kind of anything, as long it sounds good." said Nova, humming softly.
"Any kind of food you like, or dislike?" Lloyd asked.
"Hmm, I'm not the biggest fan of seafood, but I do like anything else. But mostly pizza, since you can never go wrong with that." said Nova.
Lloyd raised an eyebrow at that. "What kind of pizza do you like?"
"Hmm, it's between pepperoni or the meat lover, maybe the hawaii if I feel like it. But god forbid, I'll curse whoever made the strawberry and banana pizza." said Nova.
Lloyd chuckled at her complaining about those two kinds of pizza. "Any snacks?"
"Easy. Chips, chocolate, and breadsticks." answered Nova.
"Breadstick?" Lloyd questioned.
"Yeah, it's like a stick made of bread. You can almost use them as drumsticks if they didn't so easily break." Nova explained, with a soft giggle.
"Any drinks?" Lloyd asked.
"Well, I might be of the right age to drink anything with alcohol, but I've never liked that stuff, let alone coffee, so I mostly just stay to soda or tea." answered Nova.
"Okay, I'll keep that in mind." said Lloyd.
Nova looked up at him with a raised eyebrow, before giving him a glare. "Are you plotting something or what? Because those are some very specific questions."
Lloyd gave her a confused look. "Why would I be plotting anything, when I just wanna know a bit more about you?" Now he was the one raising an eyebrow at her.
Nova wasn't sure if she believed that, but let it be for now. "Okay, if you say so, greenie."
"Anymore questions?" She asked.
"Hmmm, nope, I believe that was all of my questions." said Lloyd.
"Good, because I was getting a little tired of all the interrogation." teased Nova.
Lloyd chuckled at her, seeing it as an interrogation. "Hey, I've gotta gather some info from the infamous thief, after finally capturing her." He said, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her closer, so she couldn't escape.
Nova let out a dramatic gasp. "Nooo, how could this happen. Look at this, my reputation ruined, by none other than the famous green ninja. I swear when I get free, I will get my revenge, revenge, revenge!" She laughed along with Lloyd.
"Then, I guess, I'm gonna have to make sure you never escape me." said Lloyd, pulling her close and placed his lips against hers.
Nova smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck, returning the kiss.
Though, the moment was ruined by the sound of something flashing.
Lloyd and Nova broke the kiss, turning their heads to look over at Nya, who had just taken a picture of them.
"Such a sweet memory, I can't wait to show the others this." said Nya, giggling.
Now Nova's face began turning red, turning her head to hide it against Lloyd's chest. "I hate you, Nya."
"I don't think it's that bad." said Lloyd, chuckling as he patted her head gently.
"Anyway, lovebirds, we are getting close to Ninjago City soon. I can already see some of it." said Nya, attention back to driving.
"Then I guess we've better get ready." said Lloyd, slowly getting up while holding Nova.
"Time to beat up another serpentine species." said Nova, letting go of Lloyd.
"Are you sure, you can fight?" Nya asked.
"Yes, my headache is pretty much gone. And you guys were able to stop the bleeding, I even got some rest." said Nova.
"Okay, but do remember to tell us if you don't feel well." said Lloyd.
"I will, now, Nya. Full speed ahead." said Nova.
"Ay, ay captain!" said Nya, speeding up towards Ninjago City.
*At Ninjago City.*
Two Elemental Cobras pick up Gayle and Vinny.
"As we all know, "Snaketastrophy" has become a serious issue in our community. So NGTV has gathered an expert panel to discuss. Point, counterpoint. City Councilwoman Andrea Thomson, what is your opinion on "Snaketastrophy?" said Dan Vaapit.
"I find raining fireballs, mass destruction, and the armies of evil snake warriors dangerous for our local neighborhoods." said Andrea Thomson.
"Good point. And you, City Councilwoman May Robsen." said Dan Vaapit.
"I agree." said May Robsen.
"Well, uh, back to our number one reporter, Fred Finely." said Dan Vaapit.
"And they just let Gayle Gossip scoop my story, me, a seven-time award winning reporter who-, uh-huh, who is currently doing person-in-the-street interviews with... where'd everyone go?" An Elemental Cobra picks Fred up. "Aah! Somebody help me!"
The Cobra throws him into the air, but Kai's ATV knocks the snake and catches him. Soon, the Rock Cycle, the ShuriCopter, and the Land Bounty appear. The cobra breathes fire, but Lloyd and Jay uses Energy and Lightning. The cobra stays alive. Nya uses a fire hydrant and commands the water to attack the cobra. Nova used the shadows to wrap around the cobra and keep it in place. The cobra turns into black smoke. Zane uses ice to defeat the cobra.
"Thank you, you're back, thank you! I thought that thing was gonna eat me!" said Fred Finely.
"It's okay. You're gonna be fine." said Lloyd.
"I'm not gonna be fine, I'm not! I'm gonna be scarred for the rest of my—" said Fred Finely, panicked.
"Hey, buddy, i-it's okay. All right." said Cole.
"Yeah, relax my guy. Nothing's gonna happen to you, now that we are here." said Nova.
"Okay, yeah, I'm...I'm okay now." said Fred Finely.
"Look, we have to go. We've gotta find Aspheera. She's the cause of all this." said Lloyd.
"Gayle Gossip already found her. Aspheera is on her way to the Ninjago Museum of History." said Fred Finely.
"What are we waiting for? Let's hit the road." said Cole.
The ninja gets on their vehicles and leaves.
