They cautiously walked onto the roof of the dorm building. Everywhere was quiet, and the only thing that could be heard were footsteps, a multitude of footsteps. "There should be about three nulls here, ignoring the boss," Zayden sai,d making the team frown.
This meant that they would have to fight three more nulls, while also fighting the boss null, making it a whole lot harder. "Let's try our best," Dare said, trying to lift the spirits of everyone.
"You guys will take one null each, while I hold back the boss null while waiting for you guys" Zayden said as he turned to look at Dare "You are a utility type so just try not to die while Tyrel and Darian will help you out if possible" Zayden said as Dare nodded his head.
With everything set, they walked up to the roof of the male dorm. Just like Zayden said, there were about four nulls, three of the nulls being elemental nulls.

One has to remember that both Tyrel and Zayden already managed to make it to level seven, while Darian and Dare were still at level six.
As they came up, it was like the nulls were able to sense them, and their lifeless eyes turned to them, looking not so lifeless anymore.
Without wasting time, the three elemental nulls charged at them, their elemental abilities blazing up with fury. The ember null lunged at Tyrel, its fist blazing with fire. Tyrel was a long-range fighter, so seeing the null lunging at him, he decisively jumped back to create space between himself and the ember null.
His pistol was aimed at the face of the null as he quickly pulled the trigger. This time, he didn't activate his lightning charge, so the attack power of the pistol was significantly weaker, but at least, the attack managed to push the null back, giving Tyrel some more space to retreat.
Meanwhile, Darian took the initiative to charge at the aqua null. The eyes of this null were eerily calm, like the surface of the sea as water gathered around its two fists. Darian didn't care about this and swung down his axe, which was glowing a fierce red color.
The null swung out its arm as the water on his fist expanded, forming a dome kind of screen that blocked the attack. Darian's attack landed on the screen of water, and water splashed everywhere. The null punched at the water on its side, and on the other side, a spike made out of sharp water flew at Darian.
Darian wasted no time ducking as the spike of water flew over his head. But at this moment, another spike flew out of the screen of water aimed at the head of Darian.
Darian's eyes widened, but two days of fighting for his life on the line made him slightly tempered, added to the fact that the water spike, even though it was traveling at a fast speed, Darian was able to follow the speed of the spike. It was like when a stone was thrown at someone. It was very fast, but it was able to be easily smacked away if the person moved fast enough.
And that was exactly what Darian did. He quickly swung his axe down on the spike, shattering it like glass while jumping back to gain some space. He was able to take a breather as he stared at the screen of water that had multiple spikes sticking out of it, ready to impale Darian at any moment.
Darian's gaze sharpened as he took a stance, a plan to defeat the null already forming in his mind. Without a moment's notice, a multitude of water spikes were being shot at Darian. Darian had a look of determination on his face as he charged forward, smashing to pieces any spike that came his way and dodging those that he could. But how could he dodge the multitude of spikes?
Ultimately, some spikes managed to hit him, drawing blood, but it was all worth it, cause at the moment, Darian was already facing the screen of water.
His eyes glowed a fierce red color as a red aura spread around his body, making him look like some berserk warrior.
'Bullish Charge'
He wasted no time and smashed through the screen of water like a mirror as his fierce red eyes landed on the body of the aqua null. A pair of lifeless, uncaring eyes stared back at him. But did Darian care? Not at all.
He needed to kill this thing and grow stronger if he wanted to survive in this world, so the fact that this null was still wearing his school uniform meant nothing to him.
With his bullish charge still active, he swung down his axe, aiming to split the aqua null into two, but to his surprise, the null managed to quickly raise its arm as the water around its arm elongated to form a curved glass-like blade made entirely out of water.
At this point, Darian and the null were in a stalemate. One has to remember that Darian was still in level 6, and so was the null. This meant that even though the null used a different ability than he did, their base stats should still be the same.
But if there was one thing that made him different from the null, it was the fact that he could still think, whereas the null was a zombie that was attracted to his life force.
"BANG!!"
"BAANNG!!!!"
At this point, explosive booms rang out in the roof as everyone turned to the battle of Tyrel, only to see that Tyrell was greedily taking in air while lying on the ground, while the null was headless, and a large hole could be seen in the body of the null.
Before long, the null turned into particles of golden light, the majority of the light being absorbed by Tyrel while about ten percent each flowed into the body of the remaining members of the team.
It seemed like the system considered them a party and decided to share the energy gained from the nulls with each party member. Even though ten percent was a relatively small amount, it was exactly what Darian needed.
A golden glow covered his body as he levelled up. Without wasting time, he put all his newly gained stat points into his strength, and the stalemate was broken.
"Berserk Strike"
This was the second skill that Darian managed to obtain. The red aura around him grew fiercer. With one of the axes holding the null in place, Darian swung down his second axe, the air rushing to give way at the power of the strike.
The berserk strike was a skill that allowed Darian to release one attack that was twice his strength stat. With his strength stat already in two digits, there was no way that the null could resist as it was cleanly cut into two.
It fell to the ground as the gory sight of intestines and other organs spilling out of its divided body greeted the team. Before long, the Null broke into gold particles, and just like before,e seventy percent went to Darian, and the remaining ten percent went to the rest of the team.
Although seventy percent of the exp from an attributed null was much, it was not enough for him to reach level eight since he recently levelled up.
With both their battles concluded, Darian and Tyrel turned their attention to the battle that Zayne was fighting. He was battling the terra null, and much to their expectations, he was dominating the null.
With the new sword, even though it had a normal look and was a few centuries behind, the fact that it was a rare item meant that it was qualitatively stronger than the previous sword that Zayden used. With the increased sharpness and hardness of this sword, Zayden was like a battle king.
His fluid movements and quick attacks made it almost impossible for the terra null to relax, much less gain the upper hand. Before long, multiple wounds could be seen on the body of the terra null, whose body was said to be marginally stronger than the other nulls.
"Ha!!"
In one swift movement, the head of the terra null was slashed off its body, spraying blood all over the body of Zayden.
Before long, its body turned into golden light particles, seventy percent going to Zayden while the remaining ten percent were divided among the remaining team members. With this windfall of exp, Zayden was very close to reaching level eight.
With the last null dead, the four members of the team set their sights on the last remaining null alive, the null that should give them the most amount of exp to date, the strongest null to date, and also the null with the highest possibility to kill them.
