(Jesse... Jesse wake up) Jesse slowly opened his eyes to find himself in his warm green bed. The woman's voice kept calling him until he replied with a childish voice "Okay, I'm coming." He headed toward his room door and opened it to find a huge corridor with stairs in the middle leading downward. He headed toward the stairs which were in bad condition.
But Jesse didn't care and quickly went down the stairs to find a huge door in front of him with "Kitchen" written in the middle. Jesse tried to open the door but it was too high for him. He kept jumping for several minutes trying to open the door until he finally opened it to find a huge kitchen in front of him with a wooden table and 3 chairs in the middle, and in the corner of the kitchen a strange woman cooking something. Jesse headed toward the chairs and climbed onto one of them.
The woman spoke with a somewhat distorted voice "Good morning, little one." Jesse replied "Good morning, Mom."
The mother was looking in the opposite direction from Jesse so her face wasn't visible to him. Jesse looked toward the window to see a clear blue sky and sunlight sneaking into the house. Jesse returned his gaze toward the table to find a plate of eggs in front of him while his mother hadn't moved from her place. "I made you eggs just how you like them, little one." Jesse looked toward her with amazement at how she placed the eggs without him noticing, but he ignored the matter and began eating. From the first bite, tears began streaming from his eyes. Jesse was puzzled by the reason for his crying - there was nothing that would make him cry like this, but the tears came out of his eyes without his knowledge. The mother took a knife and began cutting something. "Oh little one, did you miss us?"
Jesse replied with tears streaming from his eyes "Yes."
The mother was silent for some time, and he could only hear the sound of the knife cutting.
Jesse looked toward her saying "What are you doing?"
She replied "Nothing, I'm just making lunch before your father comes from work. By the way, little one, can I ask you something?"
Jesse replied while wiping tears from his eyes "Yes."
The mother replied "Why did you leave me there?"
Jesse replied with amazement "What?"
She replied, and nervousness began to show in her tone of voice, and the sound of cutting began to get louder "Why did you go and leave me?"
Worry began to show in Jesse's features and he replied "We would never leave you, Mom."
Blood began flowing heavily from the thing the mother was cutting, but Jesse couldn't see it because his mother's body was blocking it from him. The sound of cutting began to increase. Jesse's plate fell to the ground, scattering its pieces everywhere, and the dishes on the shelves suddenly began falling to the ground and breaking. Jesse began to feel uncomfortable.
The sound of cutting suddenly stopped and the mother lowered both her hands. Jesse froze in place because of what his eyes saw and said with a terrified and stammering voice "Mom?"
The mother's right hand was deformed and drenched in blood, and the bones of her arm were broken, piercing through her flesh with a huge hole in her elbow as if someone had bitten it. Meanwhile, wounds were spread all over her hand. The mother said with anger clear in her tone "How could you leave me there? How could you leave me alone there? Do you feel satisfied with what you and your father did? Huh, tell me, do you feel satisfied?"
Fear began to creep into Jesse's body as he looked toward her deformed arm and said while stammering "No." The mother began pressing the knife forcefully to the point that her veins became prominent. She began to turn slowly toward him, and at the same time, sounds of human screams and crying began to spread throughout the room. Jesse was disturbed by these sounds and put his hands over his ears, trying to stop hearing them, but to no avail - the sounds remained audible to him while their intensity increased with each second. The mother kept turning toward him slowly until her facial expressions began to appear. Jesse closed his eyes because of the pain he felt in his head due to those sounds, but suddenly...
Silence filled the place. Jesse slowly opened his eyes to find that his mother had disappeared, and additionally the house had become destroyed and in bad condition. Jesse began looking around the place with amazement. He directed his gaze toward one of the windows to find that the sky had become red in color. Jesse remained puzzled by what had just happened, only to be surprised by the sound of an adult man calling his name. Jesse turned toward him to find a large man who might be 40 years old wearing completely brown clothes. His facial expressions weren't clear because of the hat he was wearing on his head. The man continued speaking "Sorry Jesse, but we can't do anything about her."
Jesse replied with sadness clear in his tone "But..."
The man replied with anger "There's nothing we can do about her." Jesse noticed drops of tears began falling from under his hat and he continued his words saying "I have no one but you now, so please just stay alive." And before Jesse could reply, the man suddenly disappeared without warning, leaving him alone in this destroyed house.
He remained frozen in place, not knowing what to do or where to go. But suddenly he began to hear a strange sound. A sound that was familiar to him. Darkness began to spread throughout the place until it covered the place completely.....
Jesse slowly opened his eyes to the sound of Nicholas trying to wake him up "Wake up, you lazy one, it's your turn to guard." He got up from the ground and began wiping dust from his clothes.
"Well, sleep well."
Jesse went to sit on one of the rocks while Nicholas and Ethan went to sleep, to find Joseph heading toward him with two water bottles. He gave Jesse one while drinking the other. Jesse began drinking slowly until Joseph said to him with a tone of amazement "Why are you crying, my friend?"
Jesse was puzzled by his words and wiped his eyes to find that he was indeed crying. He took a deep breath and replied with obvious fatigue on him:
"I don't know, man."
