Ethan took some time looking inside the door with confusion and curiosity. He looked right and left to see that there was nothing but the giant village wall on his right and the village center on his left. After several minutes passed, he headed toward the stairs and began moving slowly downward. The walls were dark black in color, and in their middle were shining glass crystals scattered in their magnificent blue color among the black walls like stars in the dark night sky. Ethan kept looking at those lights with great admiration and amazement while descending slowly downward. He put his hand on the lights with curiosity to see that their color had changed from blue to red. His eyes widened greatly and his amazement at the place increased. With every step he took, he touched the lights with amazement and happiness while their color changed with every touch. The lights he had touched before returned to their original color after a few seconds passed. Ethan finally reached the end of the stairs to find in front of him a short corridor with an opening at its end in the shape of a door leading to another room.
Ethan turned back to find all the lights he had pressed gradually returning to their original color in a beautiful magnificent sight that made Ethan freeze in place while looking at them with great admiration. After all the lights returned to their natural state, Ethan turned his gaze back toward the corridor and began moving toward the room slowly until he reached inside it.
Expressions of confusion appeared on his face as soon as he saw the place from inside. It was a room with gray walls and wooden flooring, in addition to a huge collection of swords and guns hanging on the walls with a furnace attached to one of the walls, in addition to a metal table and a basin filled with water and a table with two wooden chairs in the middle. The old man was sitting on one of those chairs. He directed his gaze toward the confused Ethan and said to him with a light laugh, "Hehehe, you're late, those lights must have impressed you. Come here, little one." Ethan headed toward the old man and sat in the second chair, with sweat dripping from his body because of the heat. The old man looked at Ethan with a slight smile on his face and directed his gaze toward the swords and weapons hanging on one of the walls and said, "What do you think of this place? Do you like it?"
Ethan answered him by gesturing yes with expressions of curiosity apparent on his face. The old man rose slowly from the chair and headed toward the lit furnace and wore gloves that were placed on the iron table in addition to a giant tongs. The old man opened the furnace, inserting the tongs inside it to slowly pull out a large container filled with an intensely glowing substance of red-orange color. Expressions of shock and amazement appeared on Ethan's features as he headed toward the container slowly. Heat and sweat began to increase in his body the closer he got to the container. The old man headed toward the iron table and asked Ethan to open it. Ethan was confused by his words but headed toward the table to notice that it was like a huge metal cube. He put his hands on its edges and began opening it to find it filled with soil from the inside, with a hollow in the shape of a large column in its middle. The old man headed toward him and skillfully poured the molten iron onto the mold while the amazed Ethan looked at the molten iron that kept taking the shape of the mold slowly with an orange-red glow reflecting the shine of the molten iron.
Ethan closed his eyes and began rubbing them because of the light and heat. The old man grabbed the boy's shoulder and began moving him slowly away from the mold and said to him, "Don't look directly at the molten iron when you're close to it, that will hurt your eyes." Ethan opened his eyes slowly and looked at the old man with looks of amazement and admiration for what he had done. The old man noticed Ethan's clear amazement in his eyes. The old man laughed a light laugh and said to him questioningly, "Do you want to try it?" Ethan nodded his head in agreement and enthusiasm began to appear on his features. The old man went slowly toward one of the wooden boxes and opened it. It was filled with scrap and metal materials from various things. The old man asked him to carry some of them.
Ethan headed toward the metals and filled his hands with them. After that, the old man pointed his hand toward the container and asked him to put the metal he carried inside the container. Ethan headed toward the container with sweat dripping abundantly from all parts of his body and put the metals inside the container. The old man headed toward the tongs and carried them and used them to grab the container and place it on the table.
Then he began taking off his gloves and gave them to Ethan. Ethan grabbed the gloves and looked at them with eyes full of amazement and enthusiasm. He put on the gloves to notice they were bigger than his arm. The old man looked at the gloves for seconds and said to him, "Don't worry, this isn't a problem. You can use them even if they're a bit bigger than you. Now continue."
Ethan carried the tongs with full confidence and tried to grab the container using them. Ethan lifted the container with difficulty and began trying slowly to put the container inside the furnace, but after several moments the container fell on the ground and the metals scattered on the floor. Expressions of confusion appeared on his features because the matter wasn't as easy as he expected.
The old man headed toward the metal pieces thrown on the ground and quickly collected them and returned them inside the container that he put back on the table. The old man looked at Ethan with somewhat serious features and said to him, "You're doing that the wrong way, boy. Hold that tongs and imitate my movements." Ethan grabbed the tongs and held the container with them, directing his gaze toward the old man. The old man moved his legs apart a little and put his right foot forward from the left and moved the left foot back a little to control his balance and made his hands as if they were holding imaginary tongs. The boy looked at the old man and began imitating his movements step by step with complete precision, and then began carrying the container like the last time, but this time it was smoother. He directed the container toward the furnace slowly while advancing toward it slowly. The closer he got to the furnace, the more sweat drops dripped and heat increased in his body until he made one movement by inserting the container inside the furnace and slowly pulling the tongs out of it. Ethan dropped the tongs from his sweaty hands and fell to the ground while breathing with difficulty. The old man advanced toward him and poured some water on him to restore his refreshment. Ethan looked at the old man with expressions full of happiness and accomplishment, while the old man kept looking at Ethan with expressions of amazement and pride clear on his face.
