Chapter 19 - Chapter 19

Shade arrived first, he jumped from a shadow next to Tiger and swung his claw like a hammer. Tiger sidestepped and kicked shade in the stomach sending him flying through a building wall.

Ashborn jumped metres Into the air and descended upon Tiger like lightning, his dagger going straight for the throat, before his attack could lend he saw a claw flying straight for him.

He tried to dodge but how could he dodge an attack from an old experts like Tiger while mid air. The claw ripped into his chest but he had already covered it with bark.

He relaxed his body expecting the attack to send him flying backwards but Tiger grabbed his leg mid air. His eyes opened wide with surprise.

Before he could react he was thrown to the ground at breakneck speed, he didn't even have time to strengthen himself before his body shattered the ground like a hammer.

He felt air escape his lungs, for the first time in this fight he felt pain. Shit, realising he couldn't get up in time before Tiger slammed him in the ground again, he chose to attack instead.

With a wave of his hand a hot cloud of ash spread like a wave covering tens of metres infront of him, Tiger jumped backwards to dodge but he was not fast enough.

The hot ash had touched his leg, a sizzling sound echoed in the air followed by the smell of burnt flesh.Ashborn could see a grimace on Tigers face. He grinned, how's that you stupid cat man, he said forgetting he also had a cat bloodline.

He was too pissed to notice that, knowing you're much stronger than your opponent yet failing time and time again to even touch a hair on their stupidly long fur was frustrating to no end.

Having wounded him for the first time was really satisfying, no matter how minor the wound is. Just as Tiger was still mid jump Shade jumped from a shadow and tried to bite him.

He dodged the fangs but dodging mid air was not easy even for him, although Shade failed to bite him he was able to ram him with his head sending him flying through a building causing it fall like a sand castle, wait what a sand castle? How the hell do I know that? He ignored his distracting thought.

They both jumped at him with the speed of wind intending to get to him before he could adjust himself. They didn't want to give him room to breath.

He sent a punch just as Tiger was standing up hitting him in the cheek and sent him flying like a bullet. He bounced on the ground multiple time causing to stone to fly in all directions before he stood up.

Just as he was about to move, a claw jumped from a shadow next to his hitting him on the ribs, Ashborn could swear he heard the bones break.

He coughed blood as he was sent flying, they jumped after him.ENOUGH, Ashborn heard a shout and he could see Tiger move. He jumped and spun, twisting his waist as he sent a kick towards Shade.

They could obviously follow his movements but neither had enough skill or experience to dodge. Shade was sent flying with blood jetting out of his nose.

Before Ashborn could react, Tiger grabbed the back of his head and rammed him on the ground, stone shattered and dust filled the area.

He pulled him up by his hair and threw him a few centimetres into the air before sending punches like bullets. He didn't even have time to coat his body with bark.

Infact he doubted he would be able to cover so many places, the punches rained on his chest, stomach and face, each followed by a boom, caused not only by the collision with his flesh but also by their speed.

It hurts like hell. A final punch landed on his face sending him flying backwards with a boom. He flew for hundreds of metres uncontrollably before colliding and shattering a building.

He stood and wiped the blood leaking from his nose, his lip was broken and he could barely see with his left eye. Fuck, that hurt you stupid old man. Shade rose from a shadow next to him and growled at Tiger.

Congratulations boy, you are the first person to anger me so much in decades. Well thank you, I'm assuming that quite an achievement, he said with a sarcastic smile.

Let see how long you'll have that smug look on your face. Tiger said as he jumped towards them. Ashborn spun his daggers on his hands and jumped towards Tiger, Shade following behind him.

Ashborn knew the only way they could win was to use their advantage, meaning their higher grade bloodlines. Tiger was by far a better fighter than both of them and was at a higher stage though that did not matter.

His battle experience and martial skills were the real issue. Within a few seconds they were already upon each other. Shade jumped into the air and reached Tiger first.

It seems the old man was nolonger willing to face them head on, he sidestepped Shade and kicked him on the side but before he could react Ashborn sent a punch flying at his face.

He crossed his arms to block but the difference in strength became apparent as he was still sent flying for dozens of metres, he was not going to give him room to breath.

He flew at him and sent another punch which Tiger dodged almost effortlessly or atleast that how he made it look. Just as he was about to counterattack Shade appeared and sent a claw at him.

This forced Tiger to abonden his attack on Ashborn and dodge Shade. Ashborn grinned, he looked at Shade, thinking what I'm thinking buddy?

Shade growled in what he assumed was an agreement. They both moved at the same time and like before Shade arrived faster however this was not intentional, he was just faster than Ashborn.

Tiger dodged and tried to attack Shade but before he could, Ashborn sent a kick to chest, he abondened his attacks and jumped backwards do dodge.

He could see the frown on the old man's face, even though he called him old man he still looked like a man in his early 40s or late 30s however this was because he was a bloodline holder, he really was old.

He noticed the old man's heaving chest, what wrong old man, are your old bones getting tired. It seems I need to teach you brat to respect your elders. Tiger said as they jumped at each other again.
