In one of the rooms in the city wall, Bloodeye and Prince Gregory sat opposite each other at a table full of different dishes and the best wine prepared before them, and Prince Gregory showed no hesitation as he devoured the food.
"Why do you eat their food, your highness?" Asked Bloodeye, surprised at how easily Prince Gregory could eat their food.
"Do you think if they plan to kill me they won't have done so, why will they decide to poison me instead?" Asked Prince Gregory with a smile. He picked up a meat and crunched its bones.
"Who knows" Bloodeye shrugged, then he continued "They might have heard that you burn people, they probably don't want you to burn them while they try to kill you, so they resort to poisoning you"
"So be it, then" replied Prince Gregory nonchalantly.
Bloodeye picked one of the meats and started eating it, and drank some of the wine also.
"Then why are you eating it if you think it's poison?" Prince Gregory asked with an amused smile.
"Because if truly it's poison and you die, what will I tell the Supreme King, that his son dies under my watch? No," Bloodeye shook his head "I'd rather die with you instead"
Prince Gregory smiled broadly, "Then let's do it together," he said, and they both laughed.
They were still eating when the door to their room opened. The two turned their gaze towards the door, and King Potter walked in. A smile broke out on Prince Gregory's mouth.
"King Potter," He greeted, bowing slightly.
"Prince Gregory," King Potter replied similarly. King Potter's gaze then shifts to Bloodeye, who is now beside Prince Gregory defensively. Seeing is red blood eye King Potter knew who he was, he stared at his red blood eyes for a minute, he felt no fear, people often said they feel something when staring at Bloodeye's eyes, but instead, there is this feeling of peculiarities.
"And you must be Bloodeye, the Prince's fierce guard," said King Potter, but got no reply from Bloodeye.
"Yeah, he is," Prince Gregory added, "But not just a body guard, he is a friend, a companion," he added, tapping Bloodeye's shoulder.
"Hmm! I see," replied King Potter. he then crossed the distance between them and sat at one of the chairs closer to the Prince. "To what do I owe your visit? Cause sincerely I'm surprised you will visit yourself "
"Why are you so surprised?"
"We are at war, remember, Prince Gregory," said King Potter.
"Oh! Yeah we are at war, but I figured since you asked for an armistice I'd be safe here"
"Then you come to talk about the armistice?" Asked King Potter.
"Then you know why I'm here"
"You told my captain, you brought a message from the Supreme King, I assumed it's about the armistice " replied King Potter
Prince Gregory smiled again, "Then let's stop playing with words and go straight to the point "
"I'd love that"
Prince Gregory picked an apple among the fruit served with the food brought for him. he stood up and sat at the edge of the table, where he was face to face with King Potter.
"My father, the Supreme King, will only accept an armistice if you will come to his palace alone and kowtow at his feet," Prince Gregory said in a slow, precise way.
King Potter frowned. "But I am a king, how will a king kowtow to another king? Is it not enough that we pay tribute to him?" He asked, shaken by the Supreme King Orlando's request.
"You are right King Potter, but my father is not just a king, he is the Supreme God King"
