đ Whispers of the Moon

Episode 56: Scars of the Future
The air trembled with fury as moonlight battled shadow.
Ha-jun stood at the center, his sword glowing with celestial fire, shielding Juvia from the swarm of beasts. Each slash burned holes into the sky, but the creatures kept comingâdriven not by hunger, but by hate.
And behind them, the Forgotten Prince watched⊠amused.
Juvia's heart pounded. "Who are these people?" she asked the white-haired girl who emerged from the portal.
"We're the versions of fate she tried to erase," the girl said, eyes glowing blue. "The ones who dared to resist destiny."
She stepped forward. "I'm Sae-rin. In my timeline, you died, Juvia. And the world followed. But this time⊠I'll fight beside you."
Ha-jun gritted his teeth, sweat dripping down his brow. "Why now? Why are they attacking?"
The Forgotten Prince's voice echoed, cold and sharp. "Because your timelines are too stable. The Queen sealed the multiverse with Juvia's soul. As long as she lived, the gates couldn't open. But when you shattered the Mirror Crown, she weakened."
He stepped down from the platform, hands in his pockets like he had all the time in the world.
"Juvia's soul is no longer protected. And now⊠every future, every nightmare, every erased possibility⊠can return."
Thunder cracked above. The tower trembled.
Then Juvia screamed.
Her chest burnedâlike fire was being poured into her veins. Images rushed through herâmemories that weren't hers. Wars. Betrayals. Other versions of herself kissing other versions of Ha-jun⊠and dying in his arms.
Sae-rin grabbed her shoulders. "You're absorbing timelines! If we don't stabilize your soul, you'll burn out!"
Juvia fell to her knees. "I-I can't stop it!"
The Forgotten Prince raised a single hand.
And everything froze.
The monsters. The sky. Even time.
Only Juvia could move. And him.
He knelt before her, lifting her chin gently.
"You're strong," he said, voice lower now, almost⊠tender. "Too strong. That's why I need you broken."
His eyes darkened.
"I'll show you every life you lost. Every soul that died because of your choices. And then⊠I'll make you watch as this one falls too."
He pressed a finger to her forehead.
A scream tore from her lips.
She saw herself on a battlefield, covered in ash. Alone.
Then in a palaceâcrowned queen, but bleeding.
Then in a graveyardâplanting roses over Ha-jun's grave.
So many lives.
So much pain.
Then a voice echoed inside her headâher own voice, from the present:
"Not this time."
Light exploded from her body.
The timeline snapped back.
Ha-jun gasped as time resumed. Sae-rin shielded her eyes.
The beasts screeched and recoiled from the light.
Juvia stood, breathing heavily, her eyes now glowing silver and blueâmarked by fate and fury.
"You want to break me?" she whispered.
She raised her handâand the light formed a blade in her palm.
"Then try."
