"You bastard. You're endangering him again!" joked a man. Xavier kicked Garvin's right leg.
Garvin turned his body. "Stop it. I don't want to fight with you," he replied lazily. Garvin was indeed in slashing mode. Even his men didn't dare to say a word. They might be swallowed alive by Garvin.
"Okay, okay." Xavier, who saw Garvin's anger, finally kept quiet so as not to cause trouble for his friend. "I've already removed the bullet from his chest. It's fortunate that you brought him here right away. If you were just a minute late—he wouldn't have been saved. That wasn't an ordinary bullet, but a poisoned bullet. The poison could have spread quickly throughout his body if the bullet wasn't removed immediately."
Garvin just nodded. His gaze was still focused on a woman lying in the intensive care unit with medical equipment stuck in her body.
"He will wake up in a few days. Don't wait for him. Go to work as usual. I will let you know when he wakes up."
"Don't boss me around."
"If you don't like it. Can I have her?" Xavier asked. "You used to offer me your ex-girlfriends but I always refused. Now I won't refuse if you give me her."
Xavier's words really made Garvin furious. He immediately hit Xavier's jaw. Not enough—Garvin grabbed Xavier's collar, kicked his friend's stomach using his knee.
"Aaaargh." Xavier winced in pain on the floor. "Can't you be gentler with me? I'm not the target of your rage!" Very annoyed. Garvin beat him until the corner of his lips bled.
Garvin looked at Xavier lazily. "Then don't provoke my emotions."
"I didn't provoke you. There was nothing wrong with what I said."
"Do you want me to beat you up again?"
Xavier smiled wryly. He had no self-respect when it came to Garvin. "I won't stay silent. I'll get back at you later." He turned around, walking away.
Strange but true, Xavier is comfortable being friends with Garvin who has difficulty controlling his emotions and tends to like hitting people. Although Garvin loves to hit his own friends—but Garvin is a very loyal friend. He doesn't hold back when it comes to helping each other.
~~
Alesha Caroline.
Why wouldn't that name disappear from his mind? Garvin threw his files carelessly. Annoyed and angry with himself. He should have been able to concentrate on his work. But his mind was filled with the woman who was currently still lying in the hospital bed.
Garvin had threatened to kill Xavier if his friend couldn't wake Alesha up. Garvin was actually worried—but he always denied it. He always argued that he was angry because he couldn't torture Alesha.
I don't really have feelings. Even though Alesha risked her life to save him. But in Garvin's view not. Alesha did this as a suicide attempt.
"If he wanted to help me, he could have pushed me. Or hugged me, so the bullet wouldn't hit his genitals. But he just blocked the bullet as if he was waiting to be shot."
"Enough—Sir. You've been saying that for a week now." Christ crouched down. Picking up the sheets of paper he had thrown. "Never mind. You can ask him when he wakes up."
"Do you think she'll confess? She won't tell me why she really saved me or killed herself." Garvin leaned back in his chair. He ran a hand through his hair in frustration. "If nothing changes in that woman, I'll really kill Xavier."
"Do you want me to call a woman to make you feel better?" Chirst offered.
"Later. I don't want to dirty my parents' company."
Yes, Garvin is currently in a company that used to belong to his parents but is now his. A company that is completely clean without the interference of dirty things like in the dark world business.
Garvin does manage his two businesses that have two sides. In principle, the two businesses will continue to coexist and run even though on different paths.

"The quality of these leaves is not very good," Garvin said. He examined the leaves used for making illegal drugs. There were so many sacks full of the same stuff.
"The farmers were afraid of hearing that there would be raids, so they harvested the leaves early. The texture of the younger leaves is not as good as the older ones, so on the way here, many of the leaves were damaged." Christ explained.
Just nod. "Did they know the quality of these leaves was decreasing?"
Chirst nodded. "They don't dare to lower the price because there are no leaf suppliers other than us."
"Good." Garvin walked out of the warehouse. The warehouse was located in the middle of the forest. Clearly, Garvin had carefully calculated its location to avoid police raids. "Has the delivery been confirmed?
"
"Yes, sir. This leaf's journey has been confirmed to reach the buyer's place."
"It's all done." Garvin walked into the car. "I want to rest. Don't forget to prepare the women too."
~~
Garvin took a sip of the wine. "What's your name?"
"Laura," replied the female host. She showed her seductive smile. Her body was only wrapped in bright red underwear. The bulge on her chest was so visible. Anyone who saw it would definitely be tempted.
"Do you know your assignment?"
The woman nodded. She crouched in front of Garvin. "Satisfy you." Starting her 'task' Laura began to do her job. Pulling the cloth that covered Garvin's weapon. Her service began—Laura was so good at making men crazy about her.
Garvin closed his eyes enjoying his spoiled possession down there. A few minutes passed. There was a call ringing very loudly on his cellphone. He just let it be, but the more he let it be, the cellphone wouldn't stop. With a feeling of annoyance, Garvin finally took his cellphone.
Laura looked up. She was getting more excited to do her service.
"Shhh, who's calling at night?!"
"You bastard! Are you making love?"
Garvin couldn't stand it. He moved his phone away from his lips. But someone could still hear the voice from the other side. "Ah, good, continue..."
"Damn it, I shouldn't have called you at this dangerous hour."
Garvin closed his eyes as his pleasure reached its peak. Laura wiped her lips with a tissue. Garvin stood up and put the phone next to his ear.
"What do you want to say? Hurry up, I don't have any more time!"
"Alesha is awake!"
"Don't lie to me."
"He was even beside me. He was listening to the sounds of you making love. What a nest lover."
Garvin sighed. "Don't play me. If he wakes up, give him his phone."
"Hello, sir. Are you done with your activities? If not, you better finish first. We can talk again later. Besides, I am sleepy too. I will go to sleep in a bit."
Garvin wasn't angry, the corners of his lips pulled up into a smile. It's been a long time since I heard the woman's voice. It was a relief to hear that Alesha woke up and didn't die.
"Who let you go back to sleep?"
"Xavier. He's a doctor—I did it on his advice."
"Don't listen to him."
"Then who should I listen to? Your lovemaking sounds?"
Garvin glared at Laura who dared to hug him from behind. He roughly pushed Laura's hand away.
"Get out of here. Your job is done."
Laura shook her head. Her hand impudently touched the six-box carving on Garvin's stomach. "I haven't shown my greatness, sir."
"Just continue with your activities. I'm going to sleep." That was Alesha's voice which was then followed by the sound of the call being hung up.
