Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Garvin's guess was right. He also looked down pretending to be scared like everyone else. A party like this was very vulnerable to looting. There must be a Mafia eyeing it because the party was filled with high-class people who were rolling in money.

Those who were scared would always let go of their belongings. Like an old man who was hiding under a table. He lifted his Rolex watch worth millions of dollars up.

"I'm handing over my watch."

There was another woman who took off all her jewelry. From the amount—Garvin could guess the price was almost a million dollars.

Garvin stood up. Tidying up his shirt. He seemed indifferent to the man who had been staring at him, also pointing a gun at him. Garvin casually showed his smirk while pointing his gun at the man.

"Stop it," Garvin said casually.

"Don't interfere in my business. I suggest you get out of here." The man was wearing a mask. But Garvin could still recognize him—Richard. Garvin's enemy who loves to ruin a party. Robbing from rich people.

"Aish, annoying. You should look for a party that doesn't have me in it."

"Get out or I'll kill you?!"

Garvin shook his head. "Isn't there another way besides stealing?" he asked lightly.

Richard fired his bullet at Garvin. But it didn't hit Garvin because the man dodged first. However, Garvin would not be easily defeated, especially a thief like Richard.

Garvin shot Richard right in the man's shoulder. Richard felt his shoulder which was already bleeding. He stared sharply at Garvin. A fierce battle was taking place between the two camps. Alesha, who had just come out of the toilet, was very surprised by the chaos before her eyes.

Her gaze combed the people who were bowing in fear. But she saw Garvin and a man standing far apart but staring at each other and pointing a gun. Alesha stopped at one point. Namely from above—clockwise. There was a man in all black clothes stalking Garvin.

Her whereabouts were unknown because all the lights upstairs were intentionally turned off. Alesha was in deep doubt. Would she save Garvin from being shot?

Alesha was not a savior. Alesha was also not an angel full of compassion. But Alesha was an ordinary human being who was currently running as hard as she could towards Garvin. Standing in front of Garvin's body, stretching out both of her hands. Ready to accept the consequences.

"I'm done."

DOOR

DOOR

Alesha closed her eyes. The bullet penetrated her left chest twice. Along with the piercing pain—Alesha held her chest. Blood began to flow out. Alesha would not have been able to support her body if Garvin had not caught her from behind.

DOOR

Garvin immediately shot the sniper who was above right on target. He spoke through the device attached to his ear. "Get in. Finish them all."

Garvin's men immediately entered. Dozens of them shot Richard's men. Not a single one was left—Richard's group fell. But the leader managed to escape.

Garvin carried Alesha's body with his own two hands. His eyes did not stop staring at Alesha's face. Garvin had never been worried about a woman. But this time—he only hoped that Alesha would not die.

In the car. Garvin took his handkerchief. He pressed the handkerchief on Alesha's chest so that the blood would not continue to flow.

Actually, at the party earlier—Garvin did not like Alesha being touched by another man. Even though it was just a handshake. But remembering again, if Alesha was a traitorous lover. He let it happen and tried to push away his dislike.

"You have to live. Don't die," Garvin whispered.
