'I didn't know those stones were that valuable,' Sharv thought looking at his, now camouflaged, invisible watch, 'I just wanted to appraise them. But that leaves me with those black metallic blocks. I am really interested in their value now.'
'Well, whatever.' Sharv shrugged off his thoughts, as they had already reached the Central Sector and now were watching local news at the place known as Public News Circle, where numerous 3D displays flickered on a circular central tower and people, both elderly and young, were all sitting on benches beside the footpaths.
Currently, the news was about the Annual Budget Summit event, held next month. The atmosphere was calm and happy as people were delighted to know the increase in the city's tourism sector, which was the main contributor to the economy.
"Suvan, I have gathered enough information." Sharv said in a low voice, turning towards Suvan, who was munching on Samosas, a snack with at least a 10000 years long legacy. "Everything seems just as we expected. Let's move to the City Jail."
" May I ask you something?" Suvan asked as he fell in line with Sharv.
" Of course."
" Why did you buy such an expensive watch?" Suvan asked.
" You will know soon enough." Sharv said with a smile.
Soon after, they reached the area designated as City Jail. The prison itself was surrounded by twenty feet high boundary walls, giving no chance for the outsiders to see inside. These walls were especially coated in a white metal alloy, blocking any probing senses of the general public. Also it was a no-fly zone, except for the City Magistrate obviously. It was a 500*500 meter establishment that held very few prisoners, generally, compared to its size. There were roads alongside the boundaries, followed by the general city buildings on the other side.
Sharv started patrolling the surrounding roads. He activated the mapping feature on his watch and channeled his PRĀNÀ through it, spreading his senses as far as he could. The walls somehow muffled his senses enough that he could not create a clear map himself. And even if he could, he wouldn't be able to show it to others, but the watch was different as it didn't depend on human senses. A 3D map was slowly being built as his PRĀNÀ spread through the prison, gently washing over every nook and corner.
In just half an hour, a full map was completed from scratch and Sharv entered a fancy restaurant.
'He is gonna show off again.' Suvan shook his head in dismay. His expression really changed to a depressed one when Sharv booked a private dining room, costing almost his monthly expenditure on food.
As he entered the room after Sharv, a square golden table with four purple metallic chairs with intricate designs bewildered him again.
Sharv, first offered him the seat opposite to him then went to wash his hands on the shiny black tap provided in the room.
"You asked me why I bought the watch, I am about to reveal it." he said as he returned and settled back in his seat. A bell ring interrupted them, as the food Sharv had ordered had come, rice and some spicy pulse soup. Specifically nine types of pulse soups.
"Order what you want, the bill is on me." Sharv said mixing all the pulse soups and the rice in one big bowl, adding some extra chilli and salt. Then he put it down after stirring it to let flavours mix properly. Suvan had stopped showing surprise by now, he just ordered himself a lamb dish and waited for Sharv to continue.
Sharv put down his watch, still connected with a PRĀNÀ thread, and it presented a holographic 3D map of the prison. It was built like a fort to some degree. The main building was a five story building with flat roofs and railing walls, while there was a general gap of 100 meters between the high and mighty boundary walls and the main building.
"How did you map the whole prison?" Suvan's mouth was wide open after seeing the hallways of the main building perfectly in the 3D hologram. Even the ten meter deep basements were included in the map. " By channeling my PRĀNÀ." Sharv said matter of factly. Suvan, despite controlling himself, couldn't prevent a frown. Sharv was, obviously and blatantly, far stronger than he had expected.
" Now here is the plan. The map shows guard posts, four on each side of the building, and even the number of guards protecting and watching over every post. Thus we know that prison is completely square and most of its security is oriented to the sides, making it most vulnerable at the diagonals. We will use that weakness." Sharv paused, as they were again interrupted by a bell ring. This time it was Suvan's food. Suvan noticed that the eyes, nose and ears of the waiter were covered in a silky cloth, but he did not make a single mistake, before leaving with a bow. Suvan started digging in his food. Sharv's rice soup mixture has been perfectly flavoured by now. He took one gulp of it and then savored it with a big bite of raw onion.
Suvan looked up and the sight caused him to cough, but he didn't say anything. He wanted to know the plan as fast as he could.
In a few minutes, they finished their meals and Sharv again put up the prison map and started explaining his plan.
"We will infiltrate at one of the corners by cutting open boundary walls, discreetly. Then I will create a tunnel to move. I have already sensed a PRĀNÀ reconnaissance system and most likely it could not sense my PRĀNÀ because I made it too similar to the world PRĀNÀ. But for precaution, we will go at least fifteen meters deep, as the prison also has some basements upto three floors deep." Sharv just paused briefly, but questions rained down.
"How will we cut down the boundary? Without being noticed? And you said there is a PRĀNÀ reconnaissance system, what if it detects us before we are underground? And even being underground is not safe from PRĀNÀ detection, what if it detects us down there?" Suvan didn't give any chance to answer before he finished what he wanted to say. Then he took a deep breath and laid back in his seat, to get comfortable as he had eaten too much.
" Good but childish questions." Sharv said nonchalantly, " The answer to your first two questions is , Me. Since I have created the plan, I have already taken care of those basic things. About your third question, yes it is possible. But only someone with space chakra mastery would be able to detect us." He emphasized on the last sentence. "And that is why I am going to cut the wall before creating a tunnel. We will get a first person view of prison and if we are not detected then we just might succeed without any problems. And if we are caught, being above the ground is better than being underground."
"Okay, okay. I'll follow you, since the boss had already ordered. When do we make a move?"
" About three O'clock in the morning or night, whatever you understand," Sharv said, " the time when those who were awake are too sleepy and those who have just woken up are too drowsy." He elaborated before Suvan, who was about to speak, could ask why. Suvan didn't ask any further questions and the plan was set. They then moved out of the restaurent, after Sharv paid them in gold coins.
Time moved, night came and the darkness deepened even more. Sharv, along with Suvan had circled the roads beside the boundary walls more than ten times by now. They were now standing on the South-Eastern corner of the boundary walls. Sharv had coated every light with a black tar like material created by Earth chakra.
"PRĀNÀ EKÀTVÀ"
Sharv activated his breathing technique, causing the air to stir very lightly. But the sight bewildered Suvan as Sharv was enveloped in silver, almost tangible PRĀNÀ. Sharv then put his hand on Suvan's head and then extended his own PRĀNÀ shell around him, first connected through his hand then a thick PRĀNÀ thread. Suvan was almost suffocating from the dense PRĀNÀ that had engulfed him.
' To create such dense PRĀNÀ….. and stay unbothered in it …. He is a monster' Suvan thought looking up at Sharv. But it was done for a purpose, to mask themselves with World PRĀNÀ.
Sharv brought out Kràntàk, getting another surprised reaction from Suvan. Till now he had thought it was an odd dagger. He could never have imagined a beautiful, long sword with wavy edges coming out of such short sheath. Sharv activated his Space Chakra and put the humming sword on the wall.
Suvan had no idea about what was going to happen next or what awaited him behind the boundary walls, but he was prepared to die for the cause. His breathing had already grown ragged, due to being surrounded by such dense PRĀNÀ.
"Just stay where you are, like a statue if we are caught," Sharv said, " As it might be a death battle right up front" with a smile, before pushing his sword against the wall.
