Lisa try not to get herself seen by others even with the whole company staff are in the same space. Simon understands that she is fearing what the public might think and say. Thus for now he will follow her wishes. They will keep in contact via the chat group.
Her own staff whom some of them have seen Simon pick up Lisa at the bus stop talk among themselves. They did not know how to talk to Lisa on not getting closer to the boss who is married. So they organise a dinner together and giving hints about not being a third party. One of them offer to arrange a blind date for her. Ensuring her that the man is working in the bank with a high post thus Lisa accept it reluctantly. Her staff happily arrange the blind date on a weekend afternoon.
The Saturday arrives and Lisa is doing her makeup when she receive a message that he is going upstairs with a bottle of bubble milk tea. She reply and hurry to do her makeup. Simon open and close the door of the supply room. He walk pass her bedroom but walk back again. He look at her putting on makeup.
"Where are you going?"
"Hmm meeting a friend."
"Ha... i see. Need a ride?"
"No. I have already arrange my ride."
"How long will you be out?"
"Simon... why do you have so many questions for me?"
" i am just concern about ..."
"Nothing to be worry about. I am an adult."
She get up and walk past Simon to the opposite room. He look at her top which is a white spaghetti top while she wears a black shorts. He follow her into the walk-in wardrobe and watch her match her clothes. She takes out a black jacket and a white handbag. She digs for her black heels.
"Seriously where are you going?"
"Just meeting a friend. "
"Weekend on heels?"
"Yeah. I will be back. Don't worry. Put the milk tea in he fridge before it is spoilt."
"What time? I can fetch you..."
"If i can't get a cab, i will call you, right. Nothing to worry about."
"Change the top inside... a tee looks better."
She look at the full length mirror. She remove the jacket and look for a tee shirt. She goes off to change in the bathroom. While he quickly switch on her phone. He request for a sharing of location and hurry to switch it off. He walk to the fridge and pretend to be there checking her food. She comes out from the bathroom and goes back into the walk-in wardrobe. She comes out soon with her jacket on and a handbag. She holds her heels on hand and look at Simon who is checking her cabinet.
"What are you looking for?"
"Some salt."
"I don't cook. So don't have it. I am leaving now."
"Fine. See you later. Call me if you need help."
"Hmm."
She said her goodbye after she put on her heels. He watch from downstairs to see her walking out to the main road. She hail a cab and disappear. He look at his phone and search the contact listing. He found her number and search for the location. It is working and the pin is moving on the map. He switch it off and goes back downstairs.
While doing his re-search for the next camping location, he can't help but seeing his phone siting next to the computer. He wonder if she have reach wherever she is going. After resisting to check her location, he finally open up the map. He see that she is now in a restaurant. Must be having lunch with her friends. While he stopped searching he goes off to cook lunch for himself. He sigh back at eating alone is lonely.
Two hours pass, he check his phone to see where she is. Still at the restaurant. Another hour pass, he check she have moved to an exhibition hall. Simon is watching the world news when he decided to if he got any other messages. He see her profile picture on his messages listing and click it. The latest photo shows that she is in an art exhibition. Posing in front of a ceramic art work. Just when he wants to scroll to another work, he zoom in the picture. Behind the picture is a mirror, in it shows a lot of people are at the back ground. A person is taking the picture of her happens to be a man in a strip suit. He put down the phone for awhile and think. He look at the second picture which is a picture of the food they are eating again he notice the reflection is showing a person is eating with her. Also the entire table only have two sets of meal. Simon's mind begin to race and everything comes mix up. He looks at the next photo it shows her in the cab. It had a caption. 'on the way to a date' his eyes turn blurry and he drop himself and the phone on the couch. He stare at the ceiling while the news keep running in the background.
Just like that, he sit there for two hours without moving. Suddenly he sit up and rush to the bathroom. He take a quick shower and comes out with his towel. He goes to his wardrobe and look for his black outfit. He find his black cap and sunglasses. Along with his black watch and black running shoes. He hurry to put everything on while switch off the TV. He needs to go there and see for himself.
