After watching Karina display her progress, I was deeply satisfied. I reached out, gently patting her head with a warm smile. "Hmm. Good," I said, chuckling softly at the proud expression on her face.
She gave me a smug, playful look—so confident for someone so small. Then, as if wanting to impress me even more, she conjured a wing behind her back. My eyes widened slightly at the sight. It was mesmerizing—pure yellow, glowing like golden sunlight, with a faint sparkle that shimmered in the air. It was... beautiful.
I sighed in amazement, rubbing my chin thoughtfully. "Well, she is a half Dragon after all..." I muttered. That certainly explained the wings.
She flexed her newly revealed wing with flair, giving me a smug smirk as she leaned in expectantly. She was clearly waiting for more praise.
I couldn't resist. I laughed gently and patted her head again. "You really are something special," I said.
