Chapter 50 - Chapter 50: The Power Of Shinigami, Sharingan Evolution

After hearing that Nanaya had defeated a captain, Zaraki Kenpachi's fighting spirit burned even hotter.

He'd been itching for a good fight, and after two whole weeks of waiting, his restlessness had grown into pure irritation.

Now—All that pent-up energy was being unleashed in this one, savage strike.

But.

Nanaya wasn't in a good mood either.

As he stared at the incoming blade, his eyes were ice-cold.

Unohana Retsu was different. She was a woman who had tended to his injuries for two weeks. She'd taught him over 8,000 forms of kendo.

He couldn't bring himself to fight her seriously—not emotionally, not rationally.

But Zaraki Kenpachi…

There was no such hesitation.

A cold gleam flashed through Nanaya's eyes as he raised his sealed Zanpakutō and slashed downward with force.

Zaraki's sword passed harmlessly through Nanaya—

—but Nanaya's blade struck Kenpachi square in the chest.

"Swish!"Blood sprayed into the air.

The battlefield went dead silent.

All the captains stood frozen, eyes wide with disbelief.

Kyoraku Shunsui, knowing Nanaya's abilities, was only mildly surprised.

But Aizen Sōsuke and Tousen Kaname were visibly shaken—Especially Tousen, who gasped in disbelief.

"How… how did you do that!?"

Even among captains, there were levels of strength.

Tousen knew, deep down, that he wasn't on Zaraki Kenpachi's level.Yet Nanaya had just landed a clean blow.

Zaraki, meanwhile, looked down at his chest, unfazed.

He grinned.

"Heh… I knew it! You're fun!" he laughed wildly."To think you could cut me like that… HAHAHAHA!!"

Even though he was cloaked in Reiatsu, Nanaya's blade had cut straight through it.

Still laughing, Zaraki tore the eyepatch off his face—and a wave of violent, golden Reiatsu exploded from his body.

It roared into the sky like a storm, thick enough to feel like a physical weight.

The ground cracked beneath them.Air turned heavy and sharp. The captains nearby stepped back instinctively, faces grim.

Even Unohana Retsu's expression darkened.

Her usually serene face twisted with anger.

"Zaraki Kenpachi," she growled, "he's my opponent. I trained him. Get out."

Zaraki glanced her way, uninterested.

"Woman, stay out of this."

That did it.

Unohana's expression turned murderous.

Her Reiatsu surged—crimson and crushing—as she slashed her blade, including both Nanaya and Zaraki in the attack.

"Then both of you, be ready!"

Zaraki's eyes narrowed, and he raised his sword just in time.

BOOM!

He was blasted backward, crashing through wall after wall.

He barely managed to stand—then grinned and ran back in, laughing:

"This is the best!"

"Susanoo!"

Azure armor formed around Nanaya, spiraling into a full-body warrior with a sword in hand.

In an instant, the complete Susanoo loomed tall and swung down hard.

The sheer size of the attack was overwhelming.

Zaraki Kenpachi was smashed back dozens of meters.

Unohana's eyes gleamed with twisted delight.

She licked her lips and raised her sword, voice trembling with dark excitement:

"Nanaya-kun… this isn't kendo anymore. Are you really planning to fight me like this?"

With a single step, she vanished—

—and reappeared right in front of Nanaya, drenched in blood, like a demon from a nightmare.

CLANG!Her strike sent Susanoo staggering back a step.

Nanaya sighed.

"Seriously… you're impossible."

But he knew:If he didn't deal with this yandere of a captain first, he'd never survive.

He poured spiritual power into Susanoo.

Susanoo absorbed more energy from the air around it, roaring with renewed force.

No more retreat.Nanaya charged forward.

Susanoo swung again and again, each colossal strike carving up the battlefield.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM…!

Craters formed with every hit.

But Unohana didn't flinch.

Tiny compared to Susanoo, she still stood her ground—Deflecting, dodging, and countering each blow with unnatural speed and skill.

Her face turned crimson, her voice breathless:

"Yes… YES! This is it! This is the thrill! This is even better than Zaraki… or the Captain-Commander!"

Others had defeated her—yes.

But none of them used pure kendo.Nanaya didn't either… but even now, his instincts blended kendo into every move.

"This is so fun! There are TWO people willing to go all out against me! Hahaha!"

Zaraki Kenpachi re-entered with wild laughter, his Reiatsu boiling.

He slashed toward Unohana.

"BACK OFF HER!" Nanaya barked.

The Mangekyō Sharingan spun.

"Amaterasu."

"Flame Control."

Black flames roared across the field, wrapping around Zaraki and engulfing him.

But the madman only laughed harder, sword swinging through the flames as if they didn't exist.

Unohana looked at him in irritation.

"You're annoying when you're holding back."

Her next slash sent Zaraki flying again.

But before she could turn—

WHAM!Susanoo's blade crashed down on her.

She flew backward—hundreds of meters, smashing through walls and buildings as she went.

"BOOM!!!"

"BOOM!!!"

The destruction echoed across the Seireitei.

BOOM!!!

The battlefield dissolved into pure madness.

A storm of sword strikes, bloodlust, and raw spiritual pressure surged in every direction.

There were no sides.No allies.

Each of the three fought like a beast, caught in a whirlwind of violence where friend and foe blurred into a single, unrelenting dance of death.

Their blades clashed, collided, and carved through everything in sight.

Buildings? Gone.Barricades? Flattened.Entire chunks of the 5th Division had been reduced to rubble—nothing more than crushed stone and shattered tile.

From a distance, Kyoraku Shunsui watched with a mix of awe and dread.

"This is bad…" he muttered, hat tilted low to shield his face from the waves of exploding Reiatsu.

"A former Kenpachi, a current Kenpachi, and a wild card from another world… putting those three in one place was asking for disaster."

Aizen Sōsuke, his once-pristine robes now scorched and tattered, stood among the ruin of his own division.

Dust coated his glasses.

Blood stained his sleeves.

But his expression was still eerily calm—until a crack ran through the last standing wall of the 5th Division headquarters.

He stepped forward, voice low and sharp, raising his zanpakutō:

"Captain Unohana. Captain Zaraki. This is the Seireitei. We cannot allow—"

"DON'T BOTHER US!"

The three voices—Nanaya, Unohana, and Zaraki—rang out in furious unison.

Aizen didn't even have time to finish blinking.

BOOM!!!

A shockwave of raw spiritual power sent him flying backward, crashing straight into a collapsing wall.

Kyoraku winced.

"Oof… That's gonna leave a mark."

He cast a slow glance across the battlefield, to what remained of the 5th Division.

"Yep. The Head Captain's going to be pissed..."

It would take months to repair the damage.

But stepping into that mess now?

He wasn't suicidal.

You don't interrupt three berserk monsters mid-fight and expect to walk away with your limbs.

In the center of the chaos, Nanaya gritted his teeth, holding his head.

A searing pain burrowed through his skull—The price of channeling power far beyond the body's limits.

His vision blurred.

His breath came in sharp, ragged gasps.

But still, his grip on Susanoo didn't loosen.

He could feel it—Reiatsu boiling inside him like a storm,Spiritual energy igniting his very soul.

His eyes burned.

It was coming.

"Nanaya!"

The call came from both Unohana and Zaraki at once.

They were smiling.

Grinning like lunatics as they raised their blades.

"LET'S FINISH THIS!!"

SWISH! SWISH!

Two enormous strikes—

—Unohana from the right, Zaraki from the left.

Both blades slammed into the towering form of Susanoo, cleaving deep into its armored shell.

CRACK!

The construct shuddered.

Cracks spiderwebbed across its glowing body.

It was nearly torn apart.

But then—

They stopped.

Their eyes fixed upward.

On Nanaya.

Atop Susanoo's forehead, behind the thick azure crystal, something was changing.

His aura shifted.

The blood-red Mangekyō Sharingan in his eyes pulsed—

—then erupted in a burst of purple flame-like energy.

The air warped.

Space twisted.

All that repressed power, all the spiritual pressure he had swallowed through the eyes, detonated outward.

And then—

His Sharingan spun madly.

The tomoe scattered like embers.

And the center began to reshape…

From the ashes of Mangekyō—

A new ripple bloomed across his eyes.

Purple. Circular. Celestial.

The captains around the battlefield froze.

Even Unohana's breath hitched.

Even Zaraki blinked.

"Rinnegan…" Nanaya whispered, his voice cold, calm—and infinitely heavier than before.
