Chapter 59: The Sixth Metal, Armor-Piercing Star Iron

"Please trust me."

Allen solemnly said, "I graduated from the Daoist Association's specialized school, majoring in fortune-telling and physiognomy."

Fortunately, there were two Amazonian warrior women guarding the cell. Otherwise, Allen would have gone insane from boredom.

He looked seriously at the dark-skinned female warrior and said gravely, "Your forehead is dark, and foul energy shrouds your head. A great calamity looms—"

Allen stared at the leather armor covering her chest, nodding heavily. "Very dangerous."

"Philli is Black to begin with. How did you tell her forehead was dark?" the young female warrior beside her asked.

"The foul energy has spread throughout her entire body."

Allen put on a wise and mysterious expression. "Fortunately, she met me. A free blessing from me can resolve it."

"Trolyn, do you believe this lunatic?"

Philli rolled her eyes.

"I think he's funny."

Trolyn appeared cheerful and lively, completely unconcerned with Allen's nonsense.

"Hey, hey, hey! That's an insult to my character! I'm not funny—I've always been in the comedy business! It's tough, you know!"

As Allen spoke, he adjusted the coconut shells covering his chest.

Since there were no men on Themyscira, they had to modify a prison uniform for him.

Besides, when Amazonians broke the rules, they were only put in confinement—they didn't have a true concept of prisoners.

"What's the outside world like?" Trolyn asked curiously.

"It's full of old perverts coveting my beauty. Wars have broken out between nations over me. Luckily, Diana appeared in time to save me," Allen lowered his head shyly. "The princess and I have already made a secret vow to be each other's braised chicken wings."

"…"

Trolyn's face was filled with disdain.

She was Diana's close friend—there was no way the noble and pure princess would fall for a lunatic.

"Diana was the one who pursued me."

Allen leaned against the iron bars with one elbow, placing the other hand on his hip, looking helpless yet indulgent. "That night, under a moonless sky, Nana held the God Killer Sword to my throat. With an irresistible force, she demanded my love. If I refused, she'd kill me first, then take her own life, so we could die together."

"Damned male hormones, they've ruined so many innocent women," Allen added, "I wasn't afraid of death—I just didn't want Nana to do something foolish. So I reluctantly agreed to her."

"Sigh!"

"It's hard to be a man, even harder to be a handsome man, and hardest of all to be a breathtakingly handsome man!"

Listening to Allen's shameless rambling, the two women curled their lips in disgust, their mouths forming a perfect "W" shape.

They believed Diana might kill him, but she would definitely not kill herself.

Most likely, she'd be sickened to death instead.

"I should just kill you right now."

Diana's voice came from the door.

At that moment, she and Nanaue arrived to release Allen—only to catch him mid-monologue, spewing nonsense that made her veins bulge in anger.

Thankfully, they had locked him up. If he had spread this nonsense across Themyscira, would she even have a reputation left?

"Princess, you're finally back!"

Allen pursed his lips, looking pitiful. "If you had been even a moment later, my chastity would have been in danger. I was so scared that I had already made up my mind to protect my virtue."

He held up the Redemption Blade and shook it, showing his resolve. "I even prepared my tool—I was ready to castrate myself at any moment."

"…"

They had to admit—he was ruthless.

They thought he'd say he was ready to die, but instead, he was prepared to castrate himself.

"Let him out."

Annoying as he was, he was still a temporary teammate—they couldn't keep him locked up forever.

As the cell door opened, Allen grinned mischievously.

"P-r-i-n-c-e-s-s…"

He suddenly started running—but at an oddly slow pace, as if the video were playing in slow motion. His deep gaze gradually shifted into something twisted.

His eyes rolled back, leaving only the whites visible, while his tongue lolled out and flailed around.

The sheer creepiness of it was off the charts—an absolute, full-power display of perversion.

Diana and the two Amazonian warriors cringed in revulsion.

As he got closer, Diana finally lost patience.

Swish!

The God Killer Sword was instantly drawn, flames surging along its blade.

If Allen dared to throw himself at her for a hug, she would not hesitate to slash him into pieces.

Smack!

At the last moment, Allen dived into Nanaue's arms.

Because he had seen the deadly resolve in Diana's eyes.

"Nanaue, did you miss me?"

Allen looked up, only able to see Nanaue's enormous chin.

"Missed you."

Nanaue opened his arms wide and wrapped Allen in a bear hug. "Nanaue was very worried about Master."

Watching this heartwarming scene, Diana felt both relieved and disappointed.

For a moment, she had genuinely considered cutting him down.

"By the way."

Allen asked with a puzzled expression, "Where's the Pirate King?"

Given Namor's power in the water, Allen had never considered the possibility of him dying in battle.

"On the way back, we encountered some of his real supporters. He's currently regrouping with them and discussing a meeting point on an island," Diana explained.

Allen nodded confidently. "I smell a conspiracy."

"This time, it seems real," Diana summarized what had happened. "These Atlanteans have been hiding on an island, completely cut off from the ocean kingdom. They look like refugees, not spies."

"Have you never heard of the 'Path of Forgotten Meditation'?"

"What's that?"

Once again, they stood before Queen Hippolyta.

Regarding Diana's decision, Hippolyta gave her full support.

She was both Diana's mother and the Queen of the Amazons—both roles were difficult to balance.

This crisis, to Hippolyta, was a trial for her daughter. If Diana could resolve the war, she would gain the full support of the entire Amazonian people. Her future ascension to the throne would then be unquestioned.

"Your Majesty, does the palace have any Seventh Metal? If not, even Sixth Metal would do," Allen asked.

Who are you calling 'Mother'?!

If not for the fact that he was clearly insane, Hippolyta would have drawn her sword and chopped him into pieces.

"What do you want it for?"

Hippolyta was shocked that Allen even knew about extraordinary metals.

In this world, many types of metals existed. The Ninth Metal was used by the gods to forge divine artifacts, the most famous being N-Metal, which could also be found in the human world.

The Eighth Metal also contained immense power—Old Gods used it to craft weapons.

The Amazons possessed a type of Eighth Metal known as Amazonian Metal, which was used exclusively to forge Diana's bracelets. The remaining scraps were too precious to waste.

As for the Seventh Metal, it was a renowned magical metal. The Amazons, being warriors, had no use for it, so they never collected or stored any.

The Amazons' standard weapons were made from the Sixth Metal—armor-piercing Star Iron, said to be capable of harming even the gods.

"I want to craft some equipment."

Allen, as an alchemist, couldn't let such resources go to waste. He directly requested materials from Themyscira to forge gear that would allow him to breathe underwater—preparing for the upcoming hunt against the Trench.
