Rein's POV
He laughed low and cold.
"The rules?" he echoed.
His laughter sent a chill through me, but I stood my ground.
"Yes, the rules. The ones about having sex with each of them and giving birth to one of their heirs," I said, looking straight at him.
A part of me wondered if I was insane for speaking so boldly. Was I not afraid? Did I not fear that he could kill me right here and no one would ever know?
"You are still a little brave... like you were before," he said with a smirk, walking back to his chair. "Did you not learn anything from the downfall of your kingdom?"
"Sir, where do you know me from?" I asked. I could not hold back the curiosity.
"You do not need to know," he replied, gesturing toward the door. "You can leave."
"Is that all?" I asked, confused. Was that the only reason he called me here?
"Yes, that is all. You can leave."
