Andrea gently placed her baby in his stroller and then put on his cap. "Who is excited to go home with Mommy today?" She asked her in a babyish voice and laughed when Kai began smiling at her.
Andrea made funny faces at her son, who continued to smile at her. "You are definitely the cutest baby in the world, aren't you?"
She caressed her baby's cheek and whispered, "We just have to wait for your grumpy uncle, then we can leave."
The hospital room door opened, and Cedric walked in. "Are you ready to go now?"
Andrea looked at the entrance of the door, and when she saw no one else, she asked, "Where is Gael?"
"He couldn't come because of some last-minute emergency, but he has asked me to take you both home safely."
Andrea let out a silent 'Oh' and turned her gaze back to her son. "Let's go."
Cedric walked to Kai and chuckled when he saw the baby looking back at him. "I'm glad he is ok."
