The waves brushed past them like a soft lyric as Jason's hands lingered longer on her, his eyes fixed on her soft pink lips as she leaned backward, giving him a luxurious view.
"You like what you see?" she asked, her hands reaching out to pull him closer.
Their lips were only inches away, and Jason's warm breath brushed past her like a tempting embrace.
"You've always been dangerous," he whispered, his lips slightly brushing past hers.
Her lips curled cruelly. "And you've always been predictable," she replied, leaning away.
She stood up and walked over to the water, letting the warm liquid hit her legs.
"You know, I've always asked—what is different about you and Kabir? You've known him half your life, worked with him, and done so much. Like no other, you know him like the back of your hand. But then... he is different."
Jason's fists tightened on both sides. "I can take him down… just give me more time," he pleaded.
