Jason was in the office when Mitch walked in for the third time since the break of day yet with another file.
"you have to sign this and then send it over to Mrs. Marge for last checkups," he said, placing a file on the table. Jason hands tightened around the pen, his eyes darkened.
"Last I checked, you could send them to her for final reviews, then bring it to me for signing, so why the long process?" Jason snapped. Mitch Miller was taken aback, but he did not let the surprise show.
"You're only acting in their absence, and this is a financial report; I can't mess around with such," he said, then placed the file on the table and walked out. Jason was already exhausted.
tired of the orders, the harsh tones, and the errands. He stared at the phone on the table as if expecting a call, but hours stretched on and nothing. Frustrated, he picked up and dialed.
