Cecily's pov
They both looked at me expectantly, waiting for it.
I rubbed my palm against my thigh nervously.
"What is it?" Margery asked, wide eyed.
Aria just kept looking at me, waiting for me to come to it on my own. It was one of the reasons why we clicked together because she got me. She wouldn't push me to talk rather she would wait till I do because she is just like me.
"It's a bit difficult to talk about because I have kept it for so long but since we are sharing things, I might as well share,"
Aria barely blinked as she kept looking at me.
I was trying to figure out the best way to say it, I felt the weight of my mother's legacy.
"My mother had a legacy, one that she made me swear I would keep. She had founded the Women's Rights Coalition decades ago, and now, it was up to me to lead our grassroots efforts against the kingdom's oppressive laws."
"Really? I had no idea," Aria said, "Wait, why was this a secret?"
