Chapter 115 - Chapter 115: Dark Demon Witnesses Everything

Chapter 115: Dark Demon Witnesses Everything

Virt Gold was carried to the top of the spiral clock tower by the sphinx.

The fierce wind and torrential rain almost knocked him off.

He could only cling tightly to the sphinx's neck to barely avoid falling.

After sliding off the sphinx's back, Virt looked at the scene atop the tower, completely dumbfounded.

He didn't quite understand why Headmistress Cynthia had asked him to come along.

Because his understanding of what had transpired was truly limited.

He didn't even know why Professor Kazel was here, or where that pixie who somewhat resembled Professor Didi had sprung from.

Professor Silf hadn't had time to tell him all this.

He felt like an idiot.

The only magic card he had left now was, of all things, the [Forbidden Love] that had betrayed him at the critical moment.

Speaking of [Forbidden Love].

[Forbidden Love] had returned to normal.

The small figure formed by the pink mist responded to him again.

As for the ability to peek at affection levels, he hadn't dared to try it yet.

Among its abilities, only peeking at affection levels was derived from that goddess statue.

In short, he was very confused now.

Especially when he noticed the perverted gentleman on the other side of the tower top, he became even more bewildered.

"Why is he here?"

"Who are you talking about?"

The Headmistress's voice came from the sphinx's mouth.

Although Virt pursed his lips and didn't respond, Headmistress Cynthia still noticed he was looking at Dark Demon.

So Headmistress Cynthia continued to speak through the sphinx, "If you're talking about Dark, he just left the ballroom."

"The ballroom...?"

Virt's face turned pale.

He suddenly realized he had actually missed the first ball of his student life!

Just last weekend, he had been excitedly picking out a costume.

He had even fantasized about inviting Senior Pandora for a dance after winning the grade championship.

But now, forget the grade championship, he had even missed the ball!

He was even more ashamed to speak of what happened after tonight.

"Wait, that's Dark Demon?"

Virt felt his neck was a bit too stiff.

His bottom even faintly ached.

He swallowed his saliva.

Thinking that he had at least changed into the Kamen Rider set back then, he probably hadn't been recognized, right?

...

Amidst the thunder and torrential rain.

Dark Demon had, of course, noticed Virt's arrival; he wasn't surprised by it.

But what surprised him was that Headmistress Cynthia hadn't come in person!

"Could it be..."

He quickly figured something out.

Unlike Virt.

After recognizing Professor Didi, Dark Demon had quickly cleared his thoughts and had a general speculation about the ins and outs of this incident.

Professor Didi's "replication of history."

Professor Kazel's "castle's location" and "imaging of history."

These also brought him some inspiration.

He was more interested in the meaning represented by these terms than the event itself.

"Once the dust settles, I must find a chance to investigate thoroughly."

Thinking this, Dark Demon turned his head to look at the scene.

Professor Silf glanced at the sphinx, seeming to have figured something out as well.

She simply stepped forward and said, "Didi, put down your wand. We can mediate tonight's events."

Professor Didi scoffed, "Seriously, Sarah? What do I need mediation for? The students' riot? Or the resurrection of the Moon Goddess? Don't distort the facts. I was looking after those little rascals to prevent them from doing something irreversible, and I even dealt with the remnants of the Moon Dominator. Ultimately, are you trying to award me an outstanding professor award? I don't think that's necessary."

Professor Silf couldn't help but frown.

Professor Didi, however, pursed her lips into a smile and added, "Alright, just kidding. I left a resignation letter in my office; let Cynthia get it herself. Also, help me pass a message to Lily."

Professor Silf: "What message?"

Professor Didi: "Just say, I'm off to play first!"

As soon as her voice fell.

She fiercely raised [Thunderous Majesty], and the terrifying thunder that seemed to shatter the castle roared again.

Didi Maxwell had transformed into lightning, tearing through the rain screen.

St. Marian's barrier was instantly ripped apart. A golden dragon was seen speeding away, and Professor Didi had vanished.

...

"It's over."

Professor Kazel sighed, recalling the eight shields surrounding him and the Snow-Feathered Gold-Eyed Beast into their cards.

Professor Jones also transformed back into human form and exchanged glances with Professor Silf.

Afterward.

Professor Jones shrugged and said humorously, "Perhaps Didi's method isn't bad either?"

Professor Silf said seriously, "Pava, that's a lie."

Professor Jones: "But we have to admit, sometimes lies are easier for people to accept than the truth."

Professor Silf: "But that's no reason to lie."

Professor Jones: "Lie? No, we don't lie. We only state facts, a part of the facts."

Professor Silf was silent for a long moment, finally saying, "Let the Headmistress decide."

Saying this, both looked towards the sphinx.

Sphinx: (´;ω;`)?

Professor Jones: "The Headmistress has fled."

...

Castle first floor, banquet hall.

Headmistress Cynthia stood by the window, gazing at the torrential rain, and couldn't help but sigh, "The rain is really heavy tonight."

The eldest princess, Elisa, walked to her side, squinting with a smile, "The thunder is louder."

...

The masquerade ball ended amidst the torrential rain.

Although the students were still somewhat reluctant, the two thunderclaps had diverted their thoughts elsewhere.

Led by their respective house prefects, the students returned to their common rooms.

But after reaching the common rooms, most people excitedly speculated about what those two thunderclaps were.

Soon after, someone discovered that the classmates they hadn't been able to find in the banquet hall earlier hadn't returned to the common rooms either.

This triggered further chaos.

...

Nobles' House Tower.

Dark Demon, having had his fill of drama, slowly pushed open the common room door and immediately found himself the focus of attention.

The prefect, Rennes, whom he hadn't spoken to much before, was the first to run over, asking with concern, "Dark? Why are you back so late? Where's Scott? And Stanny? And Bex..."

Dark Demon was somewhat speechless, "Prefect Rennes, I'm just a first-year student who enrolled two months ago. I can't reel off a string of names like you can."

Rennes quickly shut his mouth, an embarrassed smile on his face.

Dark Demon then said, "Don't worry, it was just a small incident. They might have to spend tonight in the infirmary. By the way, Sister Carian asked me to tell everyone not to disturb the patients' rest. Also, if we don't return to our rooms soon, we might be the ones lying in the infirmary tomorrow. It's almost two o'clock now!"

Saying this, he yawned and walked towards the stairs.

Rennes hurriedly asked, "What kind of incident?"

Dark Demon: "The Headmistress will announce it tomorrow; I have to keep it confidential."

Thus, relying on Headmistress Cynthia's prestige, Dark Demon successfully escaped the common room and walked up the stairs to the second floor.

By the time he turned the corner, apart from two little figures who had followed him, the rest of the students immediately started a new round of discussion, exceptionally excited.
