Reed bobbed and weaved, narrowly dodging. He activated Steelwave Stance, one of his newly unlocked warrior techniques, and used a short burst of force to knock her back. She retaliated with a spinning spear strike that nearly disarmed him.
"Oof," Selene muttered. "He's gonna need to get serious."
Reed seemed to finally wake up, his relaxed posture tightening. He roared and used Twin Fang Slash, leaping into the air and spinning his sword like a cyclone.
The strike collided with her defense, sending her sliding backward. Her feet tried to hold ground, but Reed followed up with a clean shoulder bash that knocked her weapon from her grip.
Victory: Reed Armont!
He walked back with a triumphant grin and slumped into his seat. "And that… is how you don't die."
"Not bad," Victor said with a small nod.
