Claudia put her hands on her hips and waited for Michael to speak. Her combative expression coupled with her wild wolf-cut black hair, made Michael feel defensive.
"What? You know me?"
"Of course I know you. Michael. Reborn. Those are the two words that have been the subject of my letters with Yuna. My cute little niece. She used to visit me every other month, but now, it's just letters."
Michael raised his hands, trying to show his innocence. "I didn't do anything," he insisted.
"Oh yes, you did. You stole my Yuna's heart! Otherwise, she would have visited me by now. What kind of black magic have you done to make her stay with you this long?"
Michael shrugged. "I don't know. We just have the same idea about living life in comfort."
Claudia eyed Michael, still suspicious.
"You can ask her yourself. I'll come get her."
