Chapter 476 - Total Ceasefire and Holy Radiance of the Mind

In the Intercosmic Space, taking advantage of the lack of interference, Rosen used the Mysterious Study Room to attempt influencing this chamber.

Although the authority stripped from the Primordial Holy Temple by the Intercosmic Space could not be reclaimed, the two were ultimately of the same origin. By leveraging the authority of the Primordial Holy Temple, he could affect the authority of the Intercosmic Space.

While he couldn't fully control that authority, it was enough to grant himself certain permissions.

Now, like the Chaos Holy God and the Dimensional Holy God, Rosen could also invoke the authority to cast a vote and kill.

Of course, this permission couldn't be used against the Chaos Holy God and the Dimensional Holy God, who also held such authority, nor could it be used against the Old Fisherman and the others. At this stage, the only ones he could target with it were the Ancient Gods. Counting the Dark Sun clone, he now had two ways to eliminate an Ancient God.

Leaving the Intercosmic Space, Rosen's Eye of the Creator locked onto the Ancient God across time and space.

During the few years he spent refining the remnants of the Primordial Holy Temple and fusing them into the Mysterious Study Room, the Old Fisherman and the others had been relentlessly hunting down the Ancient God. Not only to prevent the Ancient God from focusing on the Intercosmic Space, but also to force him to reveal the whereabouts of the Chaos and Dimensional Holy Gods.

The Lunar Saint God didn't know where they were, but the Ancient God might know the Dimensional Holy God's location.

Rosen decided to turn up the pressure on the Ancient God and personally join the hunt.

If the Ancient God still didn't contact the Dimensional Holy God even when forced into a dead end, then Rosen could always find an opportunity to let him go.

Being hunted by three top-tier Holy Gods who each wielded a Cosmic Source Seed, the Ancient God had no choice but to flee for his life through endless, unceasing random spatial jumps. The moment he tried to jump with a precise coordinate, he would be intercepted by the Old Fisherman and the others and would be unable to escape.

Although the years of pursuit hadn't drained him much—since traversing time and space after obtaining a Cosmic Source Seed was as simple as eating or drinking—the sheer frustration of only being able to flee made the Ancient God increasingly irritable.

Especially since he couldn't ignore the situation with the Lunar Saint God. The Lunar Saint God had been trapped by the Heaven and Earth Holy God for several years. If the Lunar Saint God were to die, the Heaven and Earth Holy God would be free to join the hunt.

If that happened, the Ancient God would truly have no way out, neither in heaven nor on earth.

What one fears most always comes to pass—when the Ancient God saw the Heaven and Earth Holy God appear, he nearly collapsed in despair.

The Heaven and Earth Holy God possessed a primordial sacred item capable of instantly trapping the Lunar Saint God. This meant the Ancient God couldn't afford a single mistake in his escape—one slip and he would be trapped like the Lunar Saint God and besieged by four enemies until death.

Unable to endure it any longer, the Ancient God took out a crystallized shard of divine origin and crushed it.

This was something the Dimensional Holy God had left him before disappearing—a last resort, not to be used unless the cosmic situation became truly hopeless.

Almost the moment the crystal was shattered, the vanished Chaos Holy God and Dimensional Holy God appeared simultaneously.

The moment Rosen saw them, he knew where they had been hiding all these years.

Just like him, they had been hiding in the world of memories.

And like him, they had each obtained a primordial organ—the Chaos Holy God had acquired the Eye of the Dark Sun, and the Dimensional Holy God had obtained the Eye of the Night. Judging by their expressions, they were still not fully satisfied, and Rosen instantly understood that his plan to conceal his strength was no longer feasible.

He could sense their primordial organs—naturally, they could sense his as well.

After all, all these organs came from the same origin—the Primordial Dark Sun and the Primordial Night.

What surprised Rosen was that he had underestimated those two primordial beings. He had thought his two primordial organs were their only legacies, yet somehow the Chaos and Dimensional Holy Gods had each managed to obtain one too.

Rosen even suspected that his own acquisition of a primordial organ had somehow disrupted the memory world, creating an opportunity for them to obtain organs that should have been otherwise inaccessible.

Now, he could clearly sense that devouring their primordial organs would complete his own.

And he believed they felt the same way. At this point, hiding behind the identity of the Heaven and Earth Holy God no longer had any value. The Chaos and Dimensional Holy Gods, who had always been wary of each other, would undoubtedly set aside their differences and join forces to kill him. However, he was no longer the same as before—killing him wouldn't be so easy.

A ripple of void flickered beside Rosen, and six purified sin-born beings appeared—beings whose negative spiritual energy had been cleansed over the past few years.

Their undying wills had not been fused with any Cosmic Heart in exchange for Cosmic Source Seeds, so their individual power even surpassed that of the Ancient God. Together with the Old Fisherman and the other two, he now had ten peak-level eternal combatants on his side.

In contrast, the Chaos and Dimensional Holy Gods had, at most, three people if the Ancient God was included.

No matter how strong the Chaos Holy God was, he was still an eternal being. Could he fight two or three? Sure. But four or five?

Both sides were wary of each other, and in the end, no one made the first move.

Rosen feared the unknown trump cards of the Chaos Holy Gods—reincarnations of two of the five Great Primordials. Without any hidden cards of his own, what right did he have to scheme to monopolize the new universe? Besides, their actions had already defied the intentions of those Primordials who had successfully transcended.

Even if he could kill them now, it would be a Pyrrhic victory at best, killing a thousand enemies at the cost of eight hundred of his own.

Rosen knew the Heart of the Universe could become the new universe, but he didn't fully understand the transformation process. If the new universe was like a ripened fruit, he still needed the Chaos Holy Gods to care for that fruit until it matured.

Otherwise, even if he eventually obtained the fruit, an immature fruit might not support him in leaping two levels of transcendence beyond the Primordials.

"Do not acquire the ninth universe seed, or none of us will attain the perfect new universe," the Dimensional Holy God warned the Heaven-and-Earth Holy God after weighing the pros and cons.

The threat the Heaven-and-Earth Holy God now posed even surpassed that of the Chaos Holy Gods.

The Dimensional Holy God even suspected that the Heaven-and-Earth Holy God might be the reincarnation of the Primordial Dark Sun; otherwise, how could they so easily obtain two primordial organs and effortlessly purify evil lives with the Natural Joy Symphony?

If the Heaven-and-Earth Holy God continued to cause such chaos, the new universe might suffer developmental defects and be born prematurely.

"You're worried about me causing trouble? Then tell me what I can and cannot do," Rosen probed cautiously.

"All actions that disrupt the universe's balance are forbidden," the Dimensional Holy God said, looking at the Old Fisherman and others. "Destroying the universe invites the universe's backlash, so it cannot be destroyed at our hands. Evil lives were created by the Primordials as sacrificial pawns to bear the backlash from the universe's destruction.

For the new universe to mature perfectly, it must fully absorb all nutrients from the old universe.

In recent years, as the old universe is gradually dismantled by evil lives, the innate backlash of the Heart of the Universe will grow stronger. Therefore, enough eternal lives are needed to absorb the essence of the universe's origin sea, thereby weakening and suppressing the Heart of the Universe's backlash.

Only then, when the evil lives dismantle all the way to the universe's origin sea, can the Heart of the Universe be allowed to annihilate all evil lives.

According to calculations, the death of all evil lives will cause an indelible wound to the Heart of the Universe.

Only by doing this can the Heart of the Universe be forced to undergo nirvana rebirth when sufficiently supplied with essence."

"So we live in peace for now, and fight for the new universe at the end?" Rosen asked after a moment's thought.

"That is the best choice," the Dimensional Holy God affirmed.

"Farewell!" Rosen said, then left, followed by the Old Fisherman and the others.

The Chaos Holy Gods departed alone, while the Dimensional Holy God and the Ancient God went to the Holy God Temple to take away the Ancient God's Dark Sun clone.

Originally, the Dimensional Holy God intended to seize the clone of the Moonshade Holy God, but at the crucial moment, many eternal lives from the Holy God Temple drove the Dimensional Holy God away. Though these eternal lives had been considered pawns from the start, at this stage the Holy God Temple was actually the strongest faction.

Deep inside the Holy God Temple's microcosm, Rosen took out the suppressed Dark Sun clone in the Mysterious Study Room.

His Dark Sun Heavenly Eye had an instinctive desire for this Dark Sun clone. At this moment, activating the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye, he looked at the clone. The Ancient God's clone was immediately enveloped in black Dark Sun radiance, then gradually dissolved into nourishment for the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye.

As the Dark Sun clone was digested bit by bit, Rosen clearly felt his Dark Sun Heavenly Eye growing stronger.

He also understood that although the Memory World contained some power of the Primordial Dark Sun, what the Ancient God obtained was part of the Primordial Dark Sun's corpse. Now, the power of the Primordial Dark Sun merged with his bloodline, making the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye truly complete.

[Dark Sun Heavenly Eye: Primordial Organ]

[Attribute: Can generate and control Dark Sun sacred radiance that contaminates all things]

[Traits: Omniscient Magic Eye, Infinite Evolution]

Originally, after the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye swallowed the Omniscient Magic Eye, Rosen could no longer feel the power of the Omniscient Magic Eye.

Because the Omniscient Magic Eye was too weak, it did not even qualify to be integrated into the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye, this primordial organ.

This time, during the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye's evolution, part of its power clearly merged with the Omniscient Magic Eye, strengthening it and turning it into part of the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye. This portion of power should be the core of the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye's infinite evolution ability.

As long as the power of the Primordial Dark Sun is sufficient, the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye can infinitely evolve all things.

Rosen looked thoughtfully at the attributes of the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye and then took out the Ring of Glimmer.

The Ring of Glimmer, integrated into the Miracle Sequence, possessed the special miracle trait of Eternal Sacred Radiance.

Rosen's other miracle artifacts had all originated from Miracle Seeds, but the Ring of Glimmer was the sole exception. It stemmed from the hope of life itself, which was why, strictly speaking, its proper designation was Miracle Relic.

The Eternal Radiance could incinerate everything, and its only path to growth was through burning miracle artifacts to empower itself.

At that moment, Rosen condensed the Radiance of the Dark Sun in his left hand and the Eternal Radiance in his right. He could clearly sense that these two powers could actually complement each other. However, the Eternal Radiance was too weak; only after replenishing its source would it be possible for true synergy to form.

Rosen summoned the Starsea Ladybug, which immediately began to endlessly regurgitate miracle artifacts.

He had slain many eternal beings, and over the years, excavating forbidden zones of the universe had yielded even more legacies of eternal lifeforms. Among those artifacts and resources he had no use for, some were sent into the True Realm of the Old Gods for Fara and the others to cultivate with, while the overwhelming majority were tossed into the Sea of Miracles.

The Sea of Miracles had fused with all Miracle Seeds, enabling it to draw miraculous power from across the universe.

Miracles were composed of hope—but under what circumstances would someone place all their trust in hope?

Naturally, it would be in despair. Only in the face of despair does one yearn for miracles.

Over these past years, as the universe was continuously dismantled by evil beings, countless superclusters and civilizations had perished. In the face of utter desperation, countless lives had birthed innumerable miracles. These miracles had all become nourishment for the Sea of Miracles.

The Sea of Miracles could no longer advance further, so the power of these miracles had been used to forge miracle artifacts.

No one knew how many scattered resources and items within the Sea of Miracles had, over the years, gradually transformed into miracle artifacts. At this point, the sheer number of artifacts in the Sea of Miracles could not even be described as a mountain—it was an overwhelming torrent. Now, these miracle artifacts were all fuel for the Eternal Radiance.

The more miracle artifacts the Eternal Radiance consumed, the stronger it became; and the stronger it grew, the faster it incinerated miracle artifacts.

After Rosen burned away every miracle artifact with subpar attributes in one go, the Eternal Radiance had swelled into a massive fireball millions of miles in diameter. Even the Ring of Glimmer, which was already at the True God level in essence, had been elevated to the Eternal level.

Rosen felt there was still one tier missing, but the Radiance of the Dark Sun could now complement the Eternal Radiance.

As the two forces touched in the void, under the guiding influence of the Dark Sun Eye's infinite evolution power, they fused into a gray brilliance. This gray light possessed both corrupting and incinerating powers, and, more importantly, both powers were now under his complete control.

The original Radiance of the Dark Sun could corrupt life, directly converting them into Dark Sun subordinates.

This transformation via corruption had been something Rosen couldn't fully control.

But now, he could. The Dark Sun's power converting life into subordinates wasn't its true ability, but rather a byproduct of its incomplete form. The true corruption power of the Dark Sun was aimed at memories.

Rosen summoned the Particle God and casually shone the gray brilliance upon him.

The Particle God instinctively resisted the light, and even experienced a sudden urge to kill Rosen. However, before he could act on this impulse, the gray brilliance had already infiltrated his eternal will and begun to corrupt his memories.

Among the evil beings currently under Rosen's control, only the Old Fisherman had already been his eternal avatar before becoming an evil being.

As for the Particle God and the others, they had been created as avatars after their past selves reincarnated into eternal lifeforms.

So even though the Particle God's memories had been implanted by Rosen, his eternal will and divine source still belonged to himself.

Even a person's original and their avatar could develop divergent thoughts from different experiences—let alone someone like the Particle God, who only had a portion of Rosen's memories. Over time, it was inevitable that avatars like the Particle God would start developing thoughts they shouldn't have.

They would feel resentful at being mere avatars. They'd begin to harbor thoughts of betrayal. They'd question their identity and resist being mere tools under someone else's command.

In the five hundred years within the Memory World, had the Old Fisherman not constantly used the Sea of Miracles to cleanse the Particle God's memories, his newly formed memories would've long led to divided loyalties. Even so, in a moment of crisis just now, the Particle God still instinctively developed a murderous intent.

But things were different now. The gray brilliance had directly corrupted the Particle God's eternal will.

From this point forward, Rosen could directly corrupt and burn the Particle God's memories through the gray brilliance, completely eliminating any possibility of betrayal.

After a brief contemplation, Rosen named the gray brilliance "Holy Radiance of the Mind."

This Holy Radiance of the Mind shouldn't be limited to just corrupting and burning memories; it was only because the quality of the Eternal Radiance wasn't high enough that it hadn't yet achieved a perfected state. Its most core abilities had yet to manifest.

"One must learn to be content."

Rosen chuckled at his own greed.

Gaining the Holy Radiance of the Mind was already an unexpected blessing. This power was even more terrifying than the purification of the Hymn of Nature's Delight. Paired together, dealing with evil beings would become far simpler.

It might even make ambushing the Old Gods easier.
