Rosen fully absorbed the memories of the Moonshade Holy God's true body, leaving no reason to keep it alive any longer.
From this moment on, his bronze dragon incarnation would be the new Moonshade Holy God.
This identity would become a future tool against the Chaos Holy God and the Dimensional Holy God.
Another such tool was the Dark Sun avatar. With its help, he could easily trap and kill an ancient god.
Logically, after eliminating the Moonshade Holy God, Rosen had the ability to take advantage of the moment and finish off the ancient god's true body, which had escaped from the Memory World.
However, after consideration, he chose not to. He couldn't allow the Chaos Holy God and the Dimensional Holy God to unite completely.
The Moonshade Holy God's fall could be attributed to him manipulating the "Movement of Nature's Compassion."
Thus, he could explain his victory over the Moonshade Holy God and keep the three eternal beings—like the Old Fisherman—on his side.
This way, although the Chaos and Dimensional Holy Gods would be wary of him, their wariness would not escalate into fear.
However, if Rosen were to eliminate the ancient god in a single move as well, that would be enough to instill fear in them.
Why had the Dimensional Holy God tried to recruit the ancient god? Precisely because the Chaos Holy God made it feel threatened.
So even though those two often stood together due to shared interests, they actually wished to kill each other even more than they wished to destroy the Heaven and Earth Holy God. In their eyes, the desire to destroy one another surpassed even their enmity toward the Heaven and Earth Holy God.
But if the Heaven and Earth Holy God made them feel fear, then they might truly join forces and abandon their rivalry.
The Moonshade Holy God had barely revived yet was already able to take control of the Sanctuary of the Holy Gods through trickery and persuade so many eternal beings to side with it. The Chaos and Dimensional Holy Gods had been operating from the shadows for countless years—who knew how many trump cards they had, how powerful their methods were?
Indeed, the existence of a Cosmic Source Seed made it very hard to imprison its wielder.
But Rosen had the Miracle Star Sea. By leveraging multiple Cosmic Source Seeds, he had been able to suppress and trap the Moon Star God's seed. Who could say whether the Chaos and Dimensional Holy Gods possessed even stronger Primordial Sacred Artifacts? Their years of disappearance might have been spent preparing to activate some ultimate trump card.
Therefore, Rosen decided to let the ancient god go—for now—to reduce the level of wariness the other two Holy Gods had toward him.
As long as the ancient god lived, the Dimensional Holy God could never fully cooperate with the Chaos Holy God. The ancient god would never allow it, because forming an alliance with the Dimensional Holy God to resist the Chaos Holy God was the ancient god's lifeline.
Not to mention, Rosen still had his hidden card: the Dark Sun avatar. He could take out the ancient god at any time.
Of course, there was the possibility the ancient god might discover that the Dark Sun avatar had been replaced. That would depend on how many hidden tricks the ancient god had left.
To maintain the Dark Sun avatar long-term, Rosen definitely couldn't use his true body for the replacement.
So, upon returning to the Miracle Star Sea, the first thing he did was take control of the region. Then, using the Sacred Law of Myriad Transformations, he converted his Primordial Incarnation into the Dark Sun avatar. Along the way, he modified the avatar's memory and used the Nightfall Parasitic Flower to obscure all memories related to him.
All retained memories were exact replications from the original Dark Sun avatar's memories.
After such memory modification, the current Dark Sun avatar no longer knew its true identity and genuinely believed it was the ancient god's own Dark Sun avatar. This was the pinnacle of disguise—deception so deep that even the self was fooled. Only this could completely trick the ancient god's true self.
Rosen opened the Bronze Book of Fate and recorded all the Moonshade Holy God's memories into it.
Then, he used the Main God Computer to make a copy and began searching through the vast sea of memories for the ones that interested him.
He first filtered the most recent few hundred years' worth, then organized everything from the very beginning.
Among the recent memories were details he needed urgently—such as the Moonshade Holy God's understanding of the Nightfall Society, insight into the Nightfall Universe within the Memory World, the results of its inter-universal research over the years, and its experience in restoring the Sanctuary.
Rosen first examined the filtered memories related to the Nightfall Society, and what he found was more astonishing than he'd expected.
Every group has its strong and weak individuals—and the group of Primordial Lives was no exception.
The sun of the Primordial Universe had once nurtured one of the five strongest Primordial Lives in that universe.
At that time, it wasn't called the Primordial Dark Sun, but rather the Primordial Sun.
In the Primordial Universe, the Primordial Sun had a nemesis: the Primordial Nightfall, also one of the five strongest Primordial Lives. The Nightfall Parasitic Flower was the true body of the Primordial Nightfall—and it was also the first plant ever born in the Primordial Universe.
Compared to the Primordial Sun, the strength of the Primordial Moon was a tier lower.
There was even a period when the Primordial Moon followed the Primordial Sun. However, as the Primordial Lives began to diverge, as some of them developed the idea of killing the Cosmic Will, the five originally strongest Primordial Lives each led their followers and split into two camps.
The Primordial Sun was the only one standing on the side of the Cosmic Will, single-handedly opposing the other four Primordial Lives of equal rank.
In such a situation, the Primordial Sun was obviously outmatched, but no one thought the Primordial Sun would lose.
Because the Cosmic Will was the strongest existence, the Primordial Lives theoretically could never kill the Cosmic Will.
Therefore, at that time, the majority of the Primordial Lives actually followed the Primordial Sun.
The truly weaker side was, in fact, the four Primordial Nightfalls.
However, at that crucial moment, the Moonshade Holy God did not know exactly what happened to the Primordial Sun; it only knew that the Primordial Sun had overnight transformed into the Primordial Dark Sun, and the red sun that had once shone over the Primordial Universe had become a terrifying Dark Sun.
What happened after that, the Moonshade Holy God did not know.
Because the Moonshade Holy God died; it was one of the earliest Primordial Lives to die. The Primordial Nightfall took over the moon only after the Moonshade Holy God's death. When the Moonshade Holy God died, it didn't even know how it died—it suddenly lost consciousness and then died.
After resurrection, the Moonshade Holy God pondered various possibilities about its cause of death.
Even beings like the Primordial Sun and Primordial Nightfall should not have been able to kill it silently and without trace.
Therefore, the Moonshade Holy God believed that the true force that killed it was a power surpassing the Primordials.
At the very least, it had to be an existence like the Cosmic Will to make the Moonshade Holy God die so silently.
Because it fell so early and because of the special nature of the Nightfall Parasitic Flower, the Moonshade Holy God was not very knowledgeable about the Nightfall Society. It only knew that the Memory World was essentially the Primordial Nightfall's original world, that its true body was the mother plant of the Nightfall Parasitic Flower, and that it was also the corpse of the Primordial Nightfall.
The Moonshade Holy God greatly feared the Memory World because it worried the Primordial Nightfall could use it to resurrect.
It also greatly feared the Primordial Dark Sun, because having once followed the Primordial Sun, it knew clearly how powerful the Primordial Sun was. For such a powerful being to inexplicably become the Primordial Dark Sun, combined with its own mysterious death, it was no wonder the Moonshade Holy God felt fear.
The Moonshade Holy God didn't know much about the Nightfall Society but was quite familiar with the individual Primordial Lives.
Rosen carefully examined this portion of the memories and gained some understanding of the Chaos Holy God and the Dimensional Holy God.
The Chaos Holy God and Dimensional Holy God had also been among the five greatest Primordial Lives at their peak.
Four of the five great Primordial Lives had fallen; the one who remained alive was clearly the final victor.
But who that last surviving Primordial Life was, the Moonshade Holy God could not recall at all.
All memories related to this individual were completely forgotten by the Moonshade Holy God.
Finally, Rosen turned to the Moonshade Holy God's research conclusions about the space between universes. The Moonshade Holy God believed that the space between universes was actually the residual corpse of the Cosmic Will. Although the true body of the Cosmic Will was the entire universe, this did not mean the Cosmic Will had no body that could travel through the Primordial Universe.
The space between universes was that body's corpse, which the Primordial Lives had refined into the space between universes.
To completely control the Heart of the Universe, one first had to fully control the space between universes.
According to the Moonshade Holy God's research, the Heart of the Universe could at most divide into nine Cosmic Source Seeds. The last Cosmic Source Seed was also the core one, which could not be separated from the Heart of the Universe because it maintained the universe's operation.
Only by controlling the nine divided Cosmic Source Seeds could one control the final Cosmic Source Seed fused within the Heart of the Universe.
However, under such circumstances, the Chaos Holy God and Dimensional Holy God should welcome the appearance of the Old Fisherman and the others.
If they did not appear, the Cosmic Source Seeds inside the Heart of the Universe would never separate.
Given this, the only explanation for the Chaos Holy God and Dimensional Holy God still trying to stop the Old Fisherman and the others from appearing was that the space between universes had other uses—uses disadvantageous to the Chaos and Dimensional Holy Gods. After all, the space between universes was something left behind by those still-living Primordial Lives.
Having understood the truth and falsehood of the Nightfall Society and the space between universes, Rosen no longer had any reason to keep the Moonshade Holy God's true body alive.
The Symphony of Natural Compassion began to resonate in the Miracle Star Sea, and the composition no longer used Eternal Will but instead an Imperishable Will with indestructible characteristics. This prevented the Moonshade Holy God from erasing the spiritual world of the Symphony of Natural Compassion, forcing it to perish within the endlessly repeating spiritual realm.
At the accelerated passage of time, at most within a few years, the Moonshade Holy God's Eternal Will would collapse.
At that time, the Moonshade Holy God's bronze avatar could merge with the true body's remains and inherit part of the original power. Although it could not reach the power of the Moonshade Holy God at its peak, it would not be difficult to ascend to eternity through this.
Rosen had originally planned to purify a few more Sinful Beings and harvest a few more Universe Seeds separated from the Heart of the Universe. But now he no longer intended to do so. The purification still had to proceed, but no new Universe Seeds could be separated—he feared that once all nine Universe Seeds were fully extracted, some unfavorable transformation might occur within the Intercosmic Domain.
Taking advantage of the current situation, where the Old Gods were still trapped in the Memory World, Rosen began taking action against the Sinful Beings.
One by one, he sealed them within the Sea of Miracles. The Sinful Beings, though powerful, lacked intellect and thus could not resist. With the continuous purification of the Natural Hymn of Joy, more and more Sinful Beings were sealed and suppressed within the Sea of Miracles. After the sixth was sealed, he had to stop—the purification power of the Natural Hymn of Joy also required time.
Moreover, the deletion and alteration of memories also took time. Fortunately, none of this required Rosen's personal attention.
Within the remnants of the Holy Temple's sanctum, Rosen found himself intrigued by this primeval structure.
The sanctum remnants had once been the gathering place for the Original Beings to convene and hold meetings. All matters passed by vote within the sanctum had been imbued with the highest authority. That authority had permeated the temple itself, imbuing an otherwise ordinary structure with a formidable authoritative power.
When the Moonshade Holy God studied the temple remnants, He suspected that the authority once held by the sanctum had been transferred into the Intercosmic Domain.
That power of proposing a resolution and then erasing members likely originated from the sanctum itself.
This was why the Moonshade Holy God had wanted to repair the sanctum—He believed that if one wanted to control the Intercosmic Domain, then leveraging the sanctum might be a viable path. However, repairing the sanctum was an extraordinarily difficult task. The original materials used in its construction had all been of primordial origin.
Over the past few centuries, the Moonshade Holy God had scavenged and patched together what He could, but in the end, only managed to restore a single great hall.
Rosen had no intention of repairing the sanctum remnants. He did not believe it was even possible to find all the necessary materials to fully restore them.
Instead, he intended to completely dismantle the sanctum remnants and fuse them into the Mysterious Study Room, thereby enhancing its power.
However, doing this required resolving a major issue: the sanctum remnants were currently the core of the Holy Temple's microcosm, stabilizing it and preventing collapse. To remove the sanctum, a substitute core was needed.
Rosen retrieved the Moonlight Splendor and then brought out ten counterfeit Universe Seeds converted from Root Source Seeds.
Under the veil of Nightshade Moonlight, the sanctum remnants were concealed. Countless tendrils spread through the void, gradually stripping the sanctum from the Holy Temple's microcosm. The Moonlight Splendor, a primordial holy relic, successfully transformed into a replacement for the sanctum. Empowered by the Universe Seeds, it quickly became the new core of the Holy Temple's microcosm.
Rosen sent the sanctum remnants into the Sea of Miracles and began to disassemble and deconstruct them, reducing them back to primordial materials.
He then merged, refined, and sublimated all of those primordial materials bit by bit into the Mysterious Study Room.
This fusion took several years. The Mysterious Study Room finally ascended from Eternal level to Primordial.
[Mysterious Study Room: Miracle World]
[Rank: Primordial]
[Miracle Attribute: Can retreat into the void, beyond existence, evading causality]
[Miracle Properties: Authoritative Sealing, Time-Space Boundary Gate, Time-Space Window, Eternal Immortality, Omniscient Bookshelf, True Realm of the Old Gods]
Among all the new changes, the most significant one was the addition of the Authoritative Sealing miracle property.
Rosen ran a test by having the Old Angler endure the Authoritative Sealing within the Mysterious Study Room.
As a result, even a being like the Old Angler instantly lost all extraordinary power upon entering the room. Even his Eternal Will was fully sealed and rendered completely unusable. However, although the Authoritative Sealing could suppress Eternal lifeforms instantly, it had no effect on Immortal Wills.
Clearly, the Authoritative Sealing power was incomplete.
Within the Mysterious Study Room, Rosen connected to the Intercosmic Domain and could clearly sense that both shared the same source of Authoritative Sealing power. It was as suspected—the construction of the Intercosmic Domain had stripped away the sanctum's core authority. To fully restore the Authoritative Sealing, that portion of the sanctum's power had to be reclaimed from the Intercosmic Domain.
However, after several attempts, he failed. Even the Sea of Miracles could not extract any power from the Intercosmic Domain.
Unless the Intercosmic Domain itself shattered, the Mysterious Study Room would not be able to reclaim that portion of the sanctum's authority.
