The application, created by Bulma with Whis' support and popularized by Emperor Freezer himself, was a resounding success throughout the known universe. Although the Cold Demon tried to meet Bulma, he could not succeed. Strangely enough, however, they both followed each other on the forum.
Freezer's area of activity was quite wide, yet there were still many areas of the universe beyond his control. Through the forum, however, a strange sense of connection was created.
No matter where you lived, you could find out about the Emperor's activities in the Northern Galaxy by checking the news section of the 'Space Forum.'
Information about proper combat training, or Ki as it was popularly known, spread widely.
No one knew what world these people came from. It was as if there were a lock on this information. This sparked the first universal conspiracy theories, but it did not stop people from appreciating the value of their knowledge.
Freezer initially found it absurd to have to train. He was the most powerful living entity in the universe, not counting divine beings like Beerus or transcendental beings like the legendary Majin Buu. But he found one interesting ability:
The perception of energy. His army had the scouter, a pretty good communication tool on a universal level, but it always blew up when it encountered power levels it could not register.
The family business could be lucrative, but it was inconvenient for Freezer to constantly buy scouters for his soldiers.
No matter how many adjustments were made, many of these tools would eventually malfunction and explode. Even worse, Freezer would have to pay compensation for the resulting injuries.
How could something explode in your face without hurting you? Many people lost their eyes, causing some reluctance among Freezer's soldiers. No one wanted to carry those expensive tools that could blind them unexpectedly.
This was a problem because separating the functions of the scouter would be even more costly and logistically complicated. After all, they had been synthesized into a single tool for a reason.
Fortunately, Ki perception knowledge came into Freezer's life as an unexpected miracle. He quickly mastered this ability and was amazed by his power when he did.
"Am I... so strong?" This was the first time Freezer had felt this way. He decided to test the technique while traveling the universe in his flagship. When he did, he was amazed.
Years ago, he had spent a lot of money on a large-scale detector to calculate his power level, but seeing a series of numbers was not as impressive as feeling his strength.
120,000,000, that number did not truly honor the enormous amount of power he felt contained in his body. He had never considered this before, but his power was extremely high compared to others'.
Freezer sensed the others and saw them as mere fireflies, small lights with barely any glow. He, even sealed, was like a sun in the sky, shining relentlessly.
"Lord Freezer, your power is... truly immeasurable," said Dodoria, kneeling in front of Freezer. Dodoria had also learned this skill and could feel Freezer's ki.
The Cold Demon was a true monster. His ki alone seemed to obscure the perception of anyone nearby. The lives he had taken endowed his energy with an evil, dark, and cold atmosphere that chilled anyone's senses.
"Without a doubt, you are the most powerful being in the universe," Zarbon praised, truly happy at the power his emperor possessed.
"Hmm, add the requirement to know how to perceive energy to our recruitment announcements, and according to this, raise the maternity and paternity allowance as well as the pension for those who retire," stated Freezer. He sat in his floating chair and wagged his tail with interest as he read the postings on his communication device.
"Yes, sir," replied the two servants before leaving Freezer's room, which had an excellent view of the void of space.
"Who are you, 'I_Wanna_Plant_You'? Perhaps you're one of those ancient beings my father warned me about. Like Majin Buu or Moro..." Freezer muttered as he looked up to stare at the planet he was approaching: the headquarters of his empire, Planet Freezer Number 1.
"It seems I should have a chat with my father about all this new stuff. But why are these people so rude?" Freezer had a nervous twitch as he watched in the forum one of his soldiers being taunted and insulted by one of those strange martial arts masters.
He had already received reports of soldiers crying inconsolably due to cruel comments on the Space Forum. This forced Freezer to commission more psychologists for his army because he took his soldiers' mental well-being very seriously.
He found the rudeness of these people very inappropriate, as it ruined the 'good atmosphere' of the forum and its participants, which he found unpleasant, mainly because it affected his own.
"There should be a more suitable moderator," the emperor muttered. An idea came to him, so he searched among his few followers and sent a message to a profile called 'I_Wanna_Plant_You.'
"Good. I hope you reply soon." For the first time in a long time, Freezer was excited about more than just enforcing his dominance or making money. Now, he wanted to...be a moderator?
...
"Freezer wants to moderate my forum?" Bulma slapped her face several times, unable to believe what she was reading.
She hadn't expected this kind of development. She thought for sure that Freezer would participate in that kind of troubled environment because she had blurted out some things unworthy of a lady of her class.
"As usual, my perception of these so-called 'characters' is extremely skewed," Bulma murmured. She was floating high in the sky as she had been doing lately, letting the air currents carry her along.
Perhaps it was because of her plant side with its many wings, but she had discovered that she was fascinated by flying, using it as a form of relaxation. After training or finishing an investigation, she would go high up, where no one could find her without actively looking for her, and just float.
"Hmm, but is there such a toxic environment? Let me check," Bulma said as she pressed a button on her phone. A holographic screen appeared, allowing her to see and manipulate her phone's interface.
"Let's see. Someone asked how he should compress his ki. The comments... Hmm? What does his lack of ability have to do with his red skin? Is this space racism?" Bulma wondered doubtfully. When she assessed the profile of the person who had made such an offensive comment, she found that he was an Earthling.
"Isn't this Tao Pai Pai? Is he even a racist? I never thought so." Bulma never expected the commenter to be Tao Pai Pai, the acknowledged best assassin on Earth.
"Well, but that guy is over 200 years old. A Boomer... Sounds similar to my name. Take note: Don't popularize that term," she said, clicking her tongue. She continued checking other postings.
A Yardratian uploaded a video of himself giving meditation tips. It was basic, so Bulma saved it just in case. However, she found another offensive comment in his replies. The Yardratian's response to Bulma was legendary.
'I'm small, but at least I can aggrandize something you lack.' Reading that made Bulma burst out laughing so hard that tears fell from her eyes.
"Damn, what a great response!" Bulma took a screenshot of the comments and started editing a meme before remembering that she was doing a forum review, not just looking at posts for fun.
After a thorough review, she realized that the toxicity level of Earthlings was so high that many aliens could barely stand them. She knew what updates she should implement in the future.
Luckily, no one had uploaded racy content yet, but she knew it would happen sooner or later. It was only a matter of time before an Earthling wondered what a Brenchian woman, one of the species stationed under Freezer's army, looked like without her armor.
Thus, Bulma sent a series of messages to her father, who was in charge of implementing the forum updates. Soon, many people received news of the changes, and the atmosphere visibly relaxed. At least they could complain in the future.
Banning terms would be complicated, but moderation options were enabled, and certain people were designated as moderators. Among them were Freezer and Whis, who simply let it go when they found out.
However, due to the new rules, terms, and conditions, some people realized that they had asked for certain types of content. Now, they had no hope of seeing it, so they requested that this type of material be allowed. Bulma ignored these requests.
Why would she turn her forum into Twitter? She wanted to open the application in full view of everyone without having to avoid a massive amount of...! So she simply saved herself the trouble by banning it altogether.
"Okay, now I want to see how Freezer will behave with moderator powers. Will he be as tyrannical as those in my past life?" Bulma murmured before looking up at the sky and realizing that it was already dark. She noticed the newly constructed moon.
She remembered the long lecture Kami-Sama had given her for destroying Earth's satellite. Though it seemed to have caused hardly any relevant changes to the world, it was as if the moon hardly mattered to the planet.
"The simulations of that technique went well. Soon... I'll be able to fly freely in space," Bulma said, smiling.
She had tried to devise such a technique before, but she stalled in its development until she uploaded some of her research information. A Namekian replied, giving her useful feedback.
What was a Namekian doing on the space internet? She didn't know, but considering that this species had created spaceships in the past, it wasn't strange that they still had internet access, even if they weren't as dependent on technology as before.
With the help of 'Im_Big_Green,' Bulma was able to finish the prototype, but she never tested it directly because a failure could cause serious damage. Instead, she ran extensive simulations.
Bulma was immersed in her thoughts until her cell phone vibrated again. She quickly realized it was a revision request for a comment that was offensive. Even she blushed at the language used when she read it.
"Hm... 'The_Ogre' isn't that Yujiro? Only he could say such barbaric things." Bulma quickly deleted the comment and gave the man a warning. This only made Yujiro send her a private message.
"Yeah... I'm not going to check that. I'm hungry," Bulma said, patting her flat abdomen. She increased her aura and flew straight home.
Her sister was traveling back to space, and today was her farewell party. Bulma didn't want to miss the celebration. However, ever since she launched her app, Jaco had been looking at her strangely.
'They sure insulted him for showing off,' Bulma thought. This made her laugh out loud. Lately, it seemed she had been laughing a lot.
Life was good to her.
