Chapter 1 - beginning after the end.

When I was a little boy, I committed a grave sin.

One that follows me everywhere.

Seated in front of a notebook, a pale black haired figure with a hint of roguish flare, squinted his bright blue color eyes for a moment, dressed in a cheap denim baggy shorts and a black T-Shirt his mind was lost in thought.

Frozen just above the weary old notebook that had nicks and signs of eraser marks, was an old chewed out pencil held by a dark solidified mass that resembled a hand it's hazy prescience, played with the pencil making it sink into itself while appearing simultaneously in the center of the notebook from a dark spot.

"Michael cage, the car is here You have five minutes to gather your belongings and head downstairs."The pencil that stood perfectly still, with the support of the singular black mass fell forward, as the black mass sinked back into the darkness while he the person in question, turned their head to the voice that was filled with sadness but he knew that wasent the case, especially coming from Him.

The first thing he noticed was a very familiar disgusted look that hid behind the mask the man protrayed, one he came to learn throughout his eighteen years of his life in this institution but yet like always his eyes told the truth, no matter how much this man tried to hide it, it always seeped through the cracks.

Standing infront of an opened door stood a man in a black suit, with a red tie and a gold plated watch, his skin was white not pale like his, the man sported a sad smile that didn't match the look of utter disgust that slipped through his eyes from time to time, his blonde hair was neatly combed to the side while his right hand fixed his tie, a gesture he recognized when the man wanted to hurry things along.

He was the Dean of Rosemary Institution, lucius runner, A devil in human skin.

The institution is a place where the most troubled super powered children where placed, with an armed security presence that roamed the halls while classes where in session, and a militarized force surrounding the vicinity that michaels never seen only heard from rumors and whispers of those who lived on the outside, and a constant twenty four hour surveillance all under Lucius palm he knew everything, he heard everything even a fart didn't escape him, this place was his own fortress.

But Michael felt other wise, In lackluster terms this was a prison one that lasted eighteen years one that violence was pushed for. the strongest reeped the benefit's pampered by the dean while those who fell behind….Michael didnt really want to think about the past, but things have changed since then in a different way, bodies have dropped walls have been cleaned thrones have been replaced, and now only one stands ontop of a pile of corpses that where hard fought.

And now said ruler, is being forced out because of his age, still he knows what is going to happen once he's gone and he hopes one person will stand and follow through his action and act the way he did for the betterment of everyone.

Michael stood up from his chair, and could tell the immediately tension that filled the air, looking behind Lucius he saw a couple of familiar faces glaring hatefully towards him, Scott, Allen, and price all three of them where three years younger than him and fellow residents of the institute, they always hated how he changed up the rules once's he took control of all the sections in the institution, and now it looks like Lucius got them wrapped around his finger, manipulated prick.

"I have nothing."Michael spoke bored and dull, as Lucius nodded.

"Very well, come along Michael."he spoke, turning away from Michael, and walking ahead.

Michael took one last look at the place he's called home, a broken bed no windows in sight and a small desk with a wooden chair, it was simple horribly so for a child to grow up to but it was his.

With a sigh he walked out of the room and into the hallway, where he saw all of the security forces lined up against the wall geared up to the teeth, carrying some heavy metal all pointing towards him, still was he scared no he wasn't.

With the same dull expression he's always carried he walked, the only sounds that where made where the sounds of his shoes hitting the floor, and the one of the four infront of him.

Usually by this time, the hallways would be filled up with young residents and the others happily chatting away with their friends, but now it looks like Lucius called for a lockdown and forced everyone to their rooms, a pity I would've like to see Miranda just one more time.

In his mind a picture of a laughing little girl appeared holding his hand as he sighed while she pointed at her painting, of him in an red and blue suit with a strange S shape marked in the center of his chest while a red poorly drawn cape flowed behind him.

Reaching the stairs he reminisced about everything, The War Of The emperors, The Rebellion That Ceased all Rebellions, The Plaque of The Fallen That was marked on the gyms walls, Miranda and so many more.

Walking down the stairs, he could feel the weight that he was holding on slowly lift each step lessened and lessened until he reached the end.

Standing at the bottom of the stairs he could see the entrance of the institution wide open, with Lucius and his gang of followers right infront and aswell as the guards lining up.

But his sight was on something else entirely, squinting from the sudden brightness that poured out from the massive entrance, his eyes adjusted briefly before widening, he could see a bright blue sky with actual clouds they where real not myths or drawings on story books, or rumors it was real.

Walking a bit faster, the guards flinched as they held steady their trembling arms pointing towards Michael, who reached Lucius and the other before pushing past them.

"What the Michael!" Lucious yelled out of character, tumbling down to the ground while his little gang of followers worriedly helped him up as if he was made of glass.

"Are you ok Dean! someone bring the stretcher! And the medic team!"yelled price, Michael walking past the entrance uncaring stared wide eyed at the beautiful sunny sky.

"Amazing."he uttered feeling the breeze rubbed against his body, this time it wasent trying to kill him and slam him to the ground no it was, different a nice kind of feeling he's never felt a rare smile formed on his lips as he breathed in.

"You must be Michael, it's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Cage I've heard so much about you." A woman Michael never seen before broke him out of his haze, looking down from the sky towards the smiling brown woman dressed in black, and embroidered on the dress she wore was a strange symbol with the letters he could make out was, 'Godolkin University' she stood infront of a black car that he would call fancy.

Stretching her hand to him, Michael narrowed his eyes, as she spoke."I'm Indira Shetty, I hope we can get acquainted very soon, there is so much I wish to talk about with you."
