Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Dragon Ball

Eighteen years flew by in a blink of an eye.

Now, in the training ground within the textile factory, Smith Doyle faced Mr. X, Cross, Butcher, Repairman, Gunsmith, and Pesticide. Despite being surrounded by these six formidable figures, he remained calm and unflustered.

Had this been before today, Smith would have struggled against them. After all, he was just an ordinary person who had undergone training. But now, he was fearless.

Smith positioned his hands like claws and charged at them with determination.

"Raven Claw Strike!"

Seeing Smith's incredible speed, Mr. X and Cross were taken aback. They quickly activated bullet time, which not only improved shooting accuracy but was also highly effective in close combat.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

In the next moment, it felt as though a ravenous wolf had descended upon them. All six members were knocked out, including X and Cross, who were taken down in an instant.

Fox, witnessing the scene, exclaimed, "Oh my God, Smith, you're incredibly strong!"

Wesley chimed in, "Unbelievable, GOD is truly powerful!"

Looking at his downed opponents, Smith smiled and said, "Uncles, there's no need to continue this competition."

The Butcher, examining his bruises, remarked, "Smith, it seems we won't need to compete in the future. At least, not in combat."

The others sat up, acknowledging their defeat, "You win. We admit that in battle, you have truly earned the title of GOD."

Smith beamed at their words, grateful for his newfound strength, which he owed to the system that had finally activated two days ago.

Smith Doyle wasn't originally from this universe. Before his arrival, he was known as Ethan Cole, an ordinary person on Earth. After a late-night gaming session of Dragon Ball Fighter, he inexplicably found himself in this world, a blend of Marvel and American comics.

His knowledge of the Marvel universe came from seeing Captain America's exhibits and Stark Industries advertisements in Times Square. However, the storyline of this universe seemed different. There was no black leader named Sloan, and the son of Cross hadn't been sent away to live a normal life but remained in the Assassin Brotherhood.

The Dragon Ball Fighter game he once played had become his golden ticket, though it remained in a loading state until his 18th birthday. Despite this, he had learned numerous skills from the Assassin Brotherhood over the years, including wax bath techniques, arc bullet shooting, knife skills, and more.

On his 18th birthday, the system fully loaded, offering him a delightful surprise. It provided three wish functions: an item wish lottery, a character card wish lottery, and a partner wish lottery, along with a backpack.

These wish functions didn't require any recharge but could only be used after the seven dragon balls, which had scattered worldwide upon his birth, were used. The dragon balls had a cooling period of one year, and once a wish was fulfilled, three limited wish draws were granted.

The system revealed that the strength of his wishes would grow as he did, evolving from Earth dragon balls to Namek, evil red dragon balls, and even super dragon balls spanning the universe.

Smith used his three wish draws. The item wish draw offered various Dragon Ball-themed items, and Smith won a combat power detector (second generation). Though slightly disappointed it wasn't Senzu beans or combat uniforms, he was excited by the possibilities.

His character card draw granted him Yamcha, complete with his skills like Wolf Fang Fist. The partner card draw brought him Pu'er, a helpful companion.

With his new abilities, Smith's future looked promising, and the dragon balls, scattered worldwide, returned to their original form, ready for the next adventure.
