Chapter 4 - A MARRIAGE PROPostion

David walked into Elena's father's office, a determined glint in his eye. He wasn't just there to talk business; he was there to win over Elena's father, Raos, so he'd agree to David marrying his daughter. David had secured the most profitable project for Raos's company, hoping to show off his good reputation and prove he was worthy.

Even though Elena was in the office, David's focus was entirely on her, not the project. He noticed her blue shirt and tight skinny pants, and he couldn't help but feel a strong pull towards her. He wondered what it was about Elena that made her so different from everyone else, so captivating. This mix of desire and ambition felt like a perfect plan for him.

Raos, Elena's father, noticed David's intense focus on Elena. After the project presentation, Elena stepped out for coffee, and soon, it was just David and Raos left in the meeting room. Raos, a direct man, didn't beat around the bush. "Are you interested in my daughter, Elena?" he asked. David, without hesitation, replied, "Yes."

Raos's voice grew a little sharp. "Is that why you're giving us this project, David? Of course, any doubt?" Then, he looked David squarely in the eye and said, "Stay away from my daughter."

But David was unyielding. "I want her in my life now. Do whatever you can do."

A surprising shift came over Raos. "You know what," he said, a hint of respect in his voice, "you are the kind of person I want for my daughter. But my daughter won't agree to this." He continued, revealing a surprising detail, "She doesn't even know I'm going to sell this company. So, I'll put a condition in front of her: in exchange for this project, she'll have to marry David."

"Wonderful, you are a smart man," David replied, a smile spreading across his face.

Raos then spoke with deep sincerity, "Remember, always make my daughter happy. Her mother isn't here; I raised her alone, and she's very emotional. I'm having her marry you because you're practical, direct, and mature. But remember, if there are tears in my daughter's eyes, it won't be good."
