Chapter 13 - CH- 13 : Testing Kekkai Mora abilities

Soon, a soft chime echoed within the stillness of the ruined battlefield.

[Time Dilation Chamber Notification]

[Lizardmen Combat Simulation – Master Level Stages Completed]

[Please choose next species for combat training:][Insectoids][Dragonoids][Serpentmen]

Reizan crossed his arms as the holographic display floated before him. His golden-white eyes flicked across the list with calm calculation.

"Let's go with Dragonoids," he muttered. "I've already grown familiar with the Lizardmen. This next group should offer a better challenge."

[Species Selected: Dragonoids][Difficulty: Grandmaster (Pseudo-Six Paths)][Progressive Stage Combat Mode: Paused]

The battlefield around him still smoldered from his last assault. Massive trenches, glassed sands, and spatial cracks lingered like scars upon the desert's body. But Reizan showed no interest in the destruction.

He tapped the floating panel again.

[Terrain Change: Tundra Selected]

The world around him shimmered. The molten earth cracked, faded, and was replaced by an endless tundra — not snow-covered, but a dry, brittle wasteland of permafrost and icy winds, stretching as far as the eye could see under a pale sky.

As cold air whipped past him, Reizan opened his system interface to check his progress.

Reizan glanced over his system interface, eyes narrowing slightly.

"Hmm… my stats have improved again," he muttered. "Not bad."

The daily mission tab showed it would refresh by the next cycle, leaving him with time to explore the rest of his abilities. With a flick of his hand, he scrolled to the Kekkai Mora section. His gaze locked onto one particular ability.

Ash-Bones — the fearsome technique once wielded by Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, known to pierce through dimensions and erase anything it touched.

"A skill that dissolves the very concept of existence," Reizan said quietly, intrigued. "Let's see what makes it so feared."

Without hesitation, he slowly raised his hand, a faint pulse of chakra swirling at his fingertips.

Soon, a grayish, bone-shaped rod emerged from Reizan's palm. The moment it formed, he felt an immense surge of chakra coursing through it—denser, darker, and far more refined than even his truth-seeking balls. This wasn't just molded energy. This was a fusion of his Ōtsutsuki bloodline and all seven chakra natures, woven into a menacing spear of annihilation. It pulsed with silent malice.

"This is no ordinary bone… it carries the will of extinction," Reizan muttered, his golden Tensigan gleaming faintly in the icy tundra light.

He turned toward a towering glacier several meters away. Raising his hand, he concentrated chakra into his palm—and with a sharp flick, the Ash-Bone launched forward. It vanished in a blur, breaking the sound barrier as a thunderclap echoed moments after.

A second passed.

A narrow hole appeared in the glacier—then, without warning, the entire frozen colossus crumbled into gray dust, disintegrating from within like a diseased body succumbing to rapid decay.

Reizan narrowed his eyes and activated his Golden Tensigan's far-range vision.

"…It's still going."

The Ash-Bone, now nearly 300 kilometers away, carved through the land with unrelenting force. Everything it touched—soil, stone, even chakra residues—turned to ash-like particles, completely erased from existence.

"Incredible… even the Truth-Seeking Balls can't reduce matter to ash this fast."When it first struck the glacier, Reizan had witnessed something terrifying: the bone destabilized the internal structure at a molecular level, spreading like a hyper-cancer, devouring everything in an instant.

Then, a thought struck him.

Could he grow them?

Drawing inspiration from the ancient Kaguya and Kimimaro techniques, Reizan willed the same chakra signature to circulate through his entire body. His skin shimmered briefly—then, with a sickening crunch, dozens of Ash-Bones burst forth from his limbs and spine like jagged spears.

He looked like a porcupine forged from extinction itself.

Yet he felt no pain.

The bones didn't harm him—but the ground beneath him collapsed. Where even one of the bone tips brushed the surface, the earth instantly began to destabilize, cracking into gray particles and blowing away like sand in the wind.

Reizan exhaled slowly.

"This… isn't just a weapon. It's a curse to the material world."

He retracted the bones, the sound of shattering frost echoing through the tundra, already picturing how to weaponize this further in close combat.

Reizan turned his gaze toward the next Kekkai Mora in his arsenal:Purple God Lightning.

He had never heard of this ability before—not in scrolls, legends, or even the hidden Ōtsutsuki records. But the moment he focused on it, a torrent of knowledge surged into his mind. Techniques, chakra pathways, and forbidden destruction rituals etched themselves into his brain like divine script. This wasn't ordinary lightning.

It was god-killing thunder—raw, chaotic, and transcendent.

Reizan clasped his hands together, his chakra surging.

"PURPLE GOD LIGHTNING!"

Suddenly, the sky dimmed.

A heartbeat later, the clouds split open with a shriek of thunder, and from the heavens, a massive, dark violet bolt descended like divine wrath. It struck the icy tundra with such force that the entire ground quaked, blasting shockwaves across the landscape.

The primary bolt cleaved through a distant glacier—but instead of simply exploding, it carved an abyssal crater, so deep that even Reizan's 400-kilometer vision range couldn't trace the bottom. Violet lightning snakes slithered across the terrain, burning craters and carving deep scars into the frostbitten land. The tundra was now laced with interconnected webs of thunder energy, flickering and crackling like a demonic seal.

Reizan's golden eyes narrowed in fascination.

Then, he turned toward another glacier.

This time, he didn't shout.

Instead, he extended his fingers—ten digits glowing with dense, crackling chakra—and unleashed a volley of purple plasma rays. Each beam twisted and curved, taking the jagged form of lightning serpents. Thicker than ancient tree trunks, they slammed into the glacier with apocalyptic force, evaporating the ice instantly and leaving behind scorched, glowing trenches.

The lightning didn't vanish upon release.

No—it lingered, spreading across the field like a living curse. The electric pressure traveled beneath the ice itself, sending shock-pulses across miles, reducing frozen ground into boiling water, and water into steam. Every surface struck was still buzzing, slowly crumbling away under the unending stress of divine-level electricity.

Reizan lowered his hand, thunder still echoing in the far distance.

"This isn't chakra… this is divine punishment disguised as lightning," he muttered.

Reizan let the thunder fade behind him, the echoes of Purple God Lightning still dancing in the air like whispers of a storm god.

But there was more to test.

"I still need to refine all these raw forces into true techniques," he murmured, watching thin streams of violet lightning dissolve into the cold air. "Power alone is nothing without mastery."

He turned his gaze to the next Kekkai Mora in his arsenal—Silver Light Fall.

Unlike the others, this one pulsed with a serene radiance, a purity that betrayed the sheer lethality hidden within. It was a rare bloodline ability, whispered about in the oldest Ōtsutsuki archives. Few had wielded it. Fewer had survived its use.

As Reizan lifted his arm, a stream of silver light bloomed from his palm, sparkling like stardust, yet glowing with divine authority.

The moment it touched the tundra below, the reaction was instant—ice melted, then vanished. Not into water… but into pure particles. Reduced to their atomic essence, the matter simply ceased to exist.

"So this is it… light that doesn't burn, but unravels reality itself," Reizan whispered.

He could feel the chakra toll immediately—it was immense. Silver Light Fall was chakra-hungry, far more than even the Truth-Seeking Balls or Purple God Lightning. But its effect was absolute. Unless the enemy stood at the level of a Galaxy Dominator, they'd be undone on contact.

Reizan examined the data imprinted into his mind by the system.

Silver Light Fall – Core Abilities:– Atomic Disintegration Beam: Instantly dismantles matter touched by the silver light.– Light Cleaving Disc: Forged from divine silver light, these constructs can take any form—swords, shields, spears, even arrows. As long as chakra flows, they remain indestructible and sharper than any blade in existence.– Concentrated vs. Diffuse Mode: The light can either be honed to pierce singular, high-level enemies—or diffused to sweep across entire armies like a divine flood.

To test this, Reizan raised his other arm and formed a massive silver longsword, nearly translucent and humming with raw light energy. Its edge shimmered with an intensity that threatened to tear open space itself.

With a thought, he conjured a shield to match—elegant, circular, with rotating runes of divine script glowing at its core.

"Good. This will be useful when I fight the Dragonoids tomorrow," he said to himself, his tone calm but resolute.

Then, he gestured outward, and from his palms shot arcs of silver light—some shaped like razors, others as elegant spears. As they flew across the tundra, they cut through glaciers as if slicing through air. No resistance. No explosion. Just clean, absolute deletion.

Soon, Reizan felt the deep drain creeping through his body. His breathing, though steady, began to show signs of the immense expenditure of chakra. Even for someone of his lineage and power, the continuous testing of multiple Kekkai Mora techniques—each one high-tier and devastating—had finally taken its toll.

"Tch… Already nearing the bottom?" he muttered, glancing at his own trembling fingertips. The silver glow from his most recent technique faded, leaving the tundra eerily quiet.

With a sigh, he floated to the peak of a towering glacier, its edges jagged like the spine of some ancient frozen beast. There, he took a seat cross-legged, the icy winds howling around him but unable to pierce his truth-seeking armor.

He shut his eyes and focused.

Using one of the Ōtsutsuki Clan's sacred meditative techniques, a method passed only through the divine bloodline, Reizan began to recover. His body entered a suspended state, drawing in ambient energy from the environment—not just chakra, but fragments of spatial, stellar, and elemental forces interwoven through the realm of the Time Dilation Chamber.

Slowly, his pulse steadied. His chakra reserves began to refill—first a trickle, then a steady stream, then a torrent.

The tundra grew silent once more.

Reizan opened his eyes, the white-gold hue of his half-awakened Golden Tensigan shimmering under the moonless sky. Below him, the battlefield was silent and scarred, a cold wasteland littered with melted glaciers and blackened trenches.

"I hope tomorrow's mission is related to Kekkai Mora training…"

He leaned forward slightly, resting his elbow on his knee, golden eyes scanning the quiet horizon.

"I only have one year. One year to push every Kekkai Mora ability I possess into the Advanced stage…"

"...Only Truth-Seeking Balls and Primordial Suppression have reached the level I need. The rest..." He exhaled through his nose. "I'll need to break through them soon, especially if I want that Golden Tensigan fully awakened."

The glacial wind gusted across the frozen world as Reizan sat in stillness recovering his huge chakra reserves.
