Chapter 11 - Master vs Rookie

Her pudding had been eaten!

What was most unforgivable was that this pudding had been given to her by Kitahara Kaede.

Pudding was already a precious thing to her, and with Kitahara Kaede's name attached to it, it had become priceless. But now her priceless treasure was gone… gone… gone…

At the thought of this, Iino Yuzuko's cheeks puffed out instantly.

She pointed at Eri and shouted angrily, "Spencer Eri, you shameless thief!!!"

Iino Yako, of course, knew Eri.

After all, Eri's father was a diplomat, and her father was a judge at the Supreme Court. They often met at banquets with their fathers, but they were only acquaintances who exchanged greetings.

Not only were they strangers,

but even if they were friends, she would never forgive her for stealing her pudding!

Eriri, of course, knew who Iino Yako was, but she didn't understand why Iino Yako was confronting her: "Iino Yako, why are you at Kitahara's house, and why are you calling me a thief? What did I steal?"

"You're a thief, that's all!"

Iino Yako, who was furious, completely ignored Eiriri's question and insisted that she was a thief.

"You shorty from the Iino family, don't slander people!"

Being falsely accused of being a thief, Eiriri also lost her temper. If Kitahara Kaede heard this later and misunderstood something, how would she be able to get along with Kitahara Kaede in the future?

Being called a shorty made Iino Yako even angrier: "Who, who's the shorty? You're the one with the flat chest!"

"Are you talking about yourself?"

"…"

Iino Yako glanced at her chest, her angry eyes blinking rapidly, and for a moment, she couldn't refute it.

Do the daughters of diplomats all have sharp tongues?

Seeing that she was at a disadvantage and didn't know how to respond, fortunately, Kitahara Fuyu came downstairs at that moment. He looked at the two of them, who were arguing fiercely, and asked, "Um... what's going on here?"

"Brother, there's a thief in your house."

Iino Yako saw Kitahara Kaede appear like a savior and immediately found her anchor. She ran to Kitahara Kaede's side, pointing at Eiriri with a haughty expression and accusing her first, "I saw her steal something."

This little runt!!

Eiriri felt like killing Iino Yako.

Now Kitahara Kaede must have misunderstood completely, and his impression of her must have plummeted.

After all, she had no idea what she had stolen!

Eriri was about to explain, but at that moment, she suddenly noticed a detail.

Iino Yako had just called Kitahara Kaede "Nisan," hadn't she? And now she was standing close to him in a familiar manner. This scene seemed as though... As if she were really a wicked woman bullying Iino Yako.

Watching Iino Yako's affected, clingy manner.

A woman's intuition told her that this short, stocky girl from the Iino family might also like Kitahara Kaede.

So could this be—

A setup!?

Ying Lili suddenly realized it was undoubtedly a conspiracy.

The short guy from the Iino family must have noticed that she liked Kitahara Kaede, so he seized the opportunity in a short time, fabricated a false accusation of theft, and deliberately framed her to ruin her image in front of Kitahara Kaede.

This innocent-looking short guy is simply too malicious!

Looking at Kitahara Kaede,

he didn't seem to resist Iino Yako standing beside him, clearly believing her words?

With Iino Yako meddling, no matter how much she explained, she probably couldn't salvage her image in Kitahara Kaede's eyes. Was she about to be hated by him?

The judge's daughter was indeed full of malice.

Erieri experienced the cruelty of society for the first time. Her pent-up grievances finally burst forth in tears, and she turned around and ran out, not giving Kitahara Kaede a chance to speak.

"Eriri! Eriri! Wait for me!"

Kitahara Kaede was still completely confused, having no idea what had happened. He never expected Eriri to start crying and run off so suddenly. In a hurry, he called out twice to try to stop her, but Eriri had already dashed out the front door and disappeared.

...

Ignoring Kitahara Kaede's pleas, she ran out of the Kitahara house.

Halfway there, Eri regretted her actions.

She realized that she shouldn't have run out impulsively.

She should have stayed and explained herself. After all, even if she couldn't explain everything, if she didn't explain anything at all, then wouldn't the short guy from the Iino family be able to say whatever he wanted?

While she was away.

Given the Iino family's short person's dark personality, they must be slandering her wildly in front of Kitahara Kaede, right?

At this point, she thought of another possibility.

As the daughter of a judge, the Iino family's short person must be full of schemes and plots from being exposed to such things.

It's not impossible that they intentionally pretended to be close to Kitahara Kaede to provoke her into rushing out impulsively.

In fact, from the very beginning, the short, dark-skinned girl from the Iino family had probably insulted her as a thief in front of Kitahara Maple based on her personality, and after successfully provoking her into fleeing, she would then freely add more charges against her.

Who would Kitahara Maple believe then?

Iino Yuko had already called him "older brother," and she had "fled in fear of punishment." It was obvious who she would believe.

One ring led to another, and within minutes, she was completely finished.

The seemingly innocent and pure Iino Yako was so cunning. Eiriri felt that the world was dark, cold, and gloomy: "555... The judge's daughter is so terrifying... so terrifying... so terrifying..."

...

The scene before him left Kitahara Kaede speechless.

He had only gone upstairs to fetch a novel, yet how had Yami and Eiriri ended up arguing with each other?

Upon descending, he couldn't even interject a word, and his pleas to stay were ignored. He watched as Eiriri ran off crying.

It seemed like Komiko had won the argument, but was this what they meant by "natural talent" in anime? However, Ying Lili wasn't manipulative; she was actually quite innocent. How could she be described as manipulative?

In any case, this was a big problem!

Ying Lili was crying, and she had run out of his house!

Although Komizo was the culprit, the incident occurred at his house. In Eiriri's eyes, he would undoubtedly be labeled an accomplice, causing her feelings toward him to plummet, possibly even to freezing point.

How could this be salvaged?

Kitahara Kaede felt he should chase after her immediately, but without understanding the full story, what could he possibly say?

Stay calm, he must stay calm.

Kitahara Kaede took a deep breath and looked at Iino Yuko, who was still furious: "Yuko-chan, can I ask why you insist that Eiriri is a thief? What exactly did she steal?"

To be honest, Kitahara Kaede didn't believe Eiriri was a thief at all.

If Eri really wanted something, as a loyal dog, he would pick the stars from the sky for her if she asked—why would she need to steal? There must be some misunderstanding.

Sure enough.

Yako's next words left Kitahara Kaede speechless: "That 'thief from the Sawamura family' stole half a box of pudding from me! And she ate it right in front of me! That was my favorite pudding! That thief!!"

"???"

You made Eri cry over half a box of pudding?
