Chapter 41 - Chapter 41 : The Girls Beneath The Moonlight

The wind howled.

The cliff was silent again.

Blood stained the rocks where Zeravon had fallen.

His body lay motionless on a narrow ledge far below — barely alive. The **Whispering Deep** yawned further beneath, waiting to consume what remained.

But before the darkness could claim him, a **soft light** drifted down from the sky.

A figure landed beside his broken body, as silent as moonlight touching still water.

She wore a flowing silver robe that shimmered with threads of **stardust silk**, her long hair cascading like a river of night.

Her eyes — pale violet — stared at Zeravon not with fear… but recognition.

> "So it's true," she whispered, kneeling beside him.

> "Even sealed… the world still tries to erase you."

With a flick of her hand, a golden lotus unfolded in the air — a rare Upper Realm healing talisman, **the Dewdrop Bloom**.

She placed it gently on Zeravon's chest.

The flower dissolved into light, spreading through his broken body. Bones realigned. Organs healed. The bleeding stopped. But the deeper injuries — the spiritual ruptures — would take time.

She sat beside him and exhaled slowly.

> "You don't know me yet… but you will."

> "For now, rest. I'll watch over you."

**Elsewhere – Near the Cliff Top**

The disciples who had pushed him off the cliff returned to their sect group with fake panic.

> "He slipped while fighting a spirit beast!"

> "We tried to save him!"

No one suspected them. But **one person did** — a shadowed figure in the trees above.

A girl with dark eyes and a white fox on her shoulder.

> "Lying cowards," she murmured.

> "He's not dead. I felt it."

She vanished silently.

**Back Beneath the Cliff — A Cave Hidden by Mist**

Zeravon slowly opened his eyes. The air was warm. The cave smelled of herbs and lotus milk.

He tried to sit up, but pain shot through his limbs.

> "Easy," a soft voice said.

He turned his head.

She sat near a small fire, grinding herbs.

> "Who… are you?" Zeravon asked, voice hoarse.

She looked at him, calm.

> "Someone who didn't want to see you die."

He stared at her, confused.

Her aura didn't feel like any normal cultivator.

> "Did… you save me?"

She smiled faintly. "You saved yourself. I just… delayed your death."

He lay back, exhausted.

> *Who is she? Why can't I feel her cultivation?*

> *And why… do her eyes feel like I've seen them before?*

**That Night — As He Slept Again**

Yueyin stood at the mouth of the cave, watching the moon above.

She touched a ring hidden under her sleeve — an ancient token with no name.

> "You're still sleeping, Zeravon," she whispered.

> "But one day… you'll remember who you truly are."

> "And when you do… the Realms will tremble."
