Chapter 7 - Three-on-one—I've got the advantage!

After Umino Iruka left, Kitazawa sat at his desk, crossed his hands, and rested his nose against them. He was thinking—thinking about how to become the monitor of First-Year Class A.

If he were a student, it would make sense. But he was a teacher. As a teacher, how can I compete with a student for the position of class monitor?

But the task had to be completed because the reward was a water attribute.

There are seven chakra attributes in total. The most common are wind, water, fire, earth, and lightning. The hidden ones are yin and yang.

Ninjas are born with chakra attributes, usually one or two. For example, if you possess the lightning attribute, training in Lightning Release will not only be easier but also more powerful.

Kitazawa had measured his chakra attributes—only wind and fire. If he could gain another attribute, it would give him a great advantage, so naturally, he didn't want to miss this opportunity.

Kitazawa sighed and walked to the single wooden bed behind his desk. He lay down on the bed. While lying there, Kitazawa thought about some things as he drifted into sleep and eventually lost consciousness.

Second-Year Class C.

Toranosuke found a small note on his desk as soon as he sat down. He opened it in confusion. There was only one sentence: Don't leave after school tomorrow.

And the signature was a familiar name—Hyuga Hinata.

"When did that crybaby ugly girl get so bold?" Toranosuke asked in surprise.

"Big bro, did you get a note too?" Two boys of similar age came over and asked.

"What kind of operation is this?" Toranosuke asked, looking at the three identical notes.

"Should we go? What if it's a trap?" One boy asked nervously, "She's the Hyuga clan's eldest daughter, after all."

"Of course we're going!" Toranosuke snorted. "Adults don't interfere in matters between kids."

That was exactly why he could bully both boys and girls at school. In the ninja world, strength is everything. If Hyuga Hiashi were to scold them, the other clans would mock him.

"Then it's a guaranteed win!" The boy said confidently.

"Of course! Three-on-one—I've got the advantage!" Toranosuke nodded with confidence. "Let's make this one fun!"

"Big bro, good idea!" The two boys flattered him instantly.

In the blink of an eye, lunch break ended.

Kitazawa sat up and yawned. He already had a basic plan to become the class monitor.

To sum it up—it was shameless and system-abusing. The system only said to become a class monitor but didn't specify for how long.

Kitazawa washed his face, checked the time, and walked toward the classroom. Just as he arrived at the door, the class bell rang.

"Hmm? I'm pretty punctual." Kitazawa chuckled and walked up to the podium.

"Teacher Kitazawa!" Yamanaka Ino stood up and waved like a cheerleader. Then she gave Haruno Sakura a smug glance.

"…"

Haruno Sakura pouted. Though Kitazawa was handsome, he wasn't their age, and one day he'd grow old before them.

She turned to Uchiha Sasuke and gave him a sweet smile.

Uchiha Sasuke ignored her completely. His mind was filled only with Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Fugaku. He wanted to grow stronger and earn their approval. Women only distracted him from training.

"Let's start class." Kitazawa nodded to Yamanaka Ino and asked, "Do you know who founded Konoha Village?"

"I do!" Uzumaki Naruto replied quickly. "It was Senju Hashirama!"

"To be precise, it was the Senju clan."

Kitazawa corrected. "Both the First and Second Hokage were from the Senju clan."

"Teacher Kitazawa," Uzumaki Naruto asked, "Why aren't there any Senju clan ninjas now?"

"There are still some." Kitazawa smiled. "For example, Lady Tsunade, one of Konoha's Sannin, is a member of the Senju clan."

At that moment, Uchiha Sasuke raised his hand.

"Sasuke," Kitazawa called on him.

"My brother said the Uchiha clan also helped found Konoha." Uchiha Sasuke stood and said.

Many students looked confused after his words. Except for kids from clans like Hyuga Hinata or Nara Shikamaru, most didn't know about the Uchiha clan's glorious history.

After all, their reputation had fallen. Especially after the Nine-Tails incident, their clan had been relocated to Konoha's edge and was under surveillance.

"Yes." Kitazawa nodded. "The Senju and Uchiha clans ended the chaotic Warring States period and founded Konoha together."

So, his brother was right. Uchiha Sasuke felt proud and satisfied.

"Today, we'll talk about the story of the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama." Kitazawa slapped the table and began, "It's said that a long time ago, there was a family…"

He wasn't named Best Teacher just because of Sarutobi Hiruzen—it was also due to his own teaching ability. After all, Kitazawa was a time traveler with broad knowledge.

Compared to the rigid academy teachers, he always had something new. Kids didn't like lectures—but they loved stories. Kitazawa combined storytelling and crosstalk-style humor into his lessons.

The bell rang.

"…To hear what happens next, please tune in to the next chapter." Kitazawa picked up his materials. "Class dismissed."

"Ahh! Why'd it end there?"

"Why does Kitazawa's class go by so fast?"

"Class is so fun! I want to take it forever!"

Once Kitazawa left, the reluctant students finally reacted.

Uchiha Sasuke frowned slightly. In the story, the Uchiha were on par with the Senju—so proud and strong. But how did his clan become like this?

Uchiha Sasuke hesitated briefly, then decided to ask his brother, Uchiha Itachi, at home.

As for Kitazawa—he had yet to earn his approval. The Uchiha never saw themselves as weaker than anyone. They only followed the strong.

"Teacher Kitazawa's class was great! Sakura, you…you traitor!" Yamanaka Ino turned and saw Haruno Sakura once again chasing after Uchiha Sasuke.

Hyuga Hinata glanced at them, not understanding their kind of friendship.

"Hinata, what do you think?" Yamanaka Ino noticed her look and asked.

"Mm." Hyuga Hinata was startled, then nodded. "Yes, it was really good."

She suddenly thought of her father, Hyuga Hiashi. He always looked stern when teaching her Gentle Fist and was extremely strict. Since she was shy by nature, the pressure made her learn very poorly.

If it were Kitazawa teaching her, she felt she'd be much more at ease. Thinking this, Hyuga Hinata quickly shook her head to clear her thoughts.

Her father forbade her from imagining such unrealistic things.
