Chapter 44
When she saw the face she had forgotten about for a long time, Rosica recalled a memory from long ago.
She met Ahel for the first time when she was six years old. And she was twelve when she parted ways with him.

There were only two faces that I vaguely remembered from the gang of kids.
‘Tarantula,’ the leader of the gang, and his little brother, Ahel.
The reason I remembered those two was because those two had facial appearances that didn’t really belong in the back alleys.
The blonde-haired, red-eyed brothers looked so similar that anyone could have figured out they were related, but aside from that, they were polar opposites in every aspect.
Tarantula was a genius with a cold heart that rarely spoke.
Out of everyone I’d met during both of my lives, he was the smartest.
As I searched for a way to survive after changing my appearance at the age of six, I utilized Tarantula’s gang to my advantage quite well.
