As the sun set, its blinding rays illuminated Emily's face. Adam watched, captivated by her radiant beauty, her hair a glowing red, her eyes a deep maroon.
"Adam? Are you not feeling well?" Emily asked, noticing his intense gaze.
"Oh, sorry. It's nothing," he replied, a playful glint in his eye. "I'm just admiring your beauty. And I'm thinking about what I want to do with you tonight," he added with a wink.
"You sure about tonight? Don't you dare doze off before we even get started," Emily teased, hinting at their exhausting day of fighting creatures in dungeons and closing portals.
She took his arm, leaning her head on his shoulder. "I want to eat at a restaurant tonight. Do you want to go on a date?" Emily pouted, leaning in for a kiss.
Adam gave her a light kiss. "Yeah, that's not a bad idea. I'm thinking of Western food tonight. I'm craving some steak."
They stepped out of the mana-rich area, and Emily's fiery red hair transformed back to black, her maroon eyes returning to brown. Emily pulled out her phone and took a selfie of them. Adam smiled awkwardly, his black hair and blue eyes a stark contrast. Emily leaned in for a kiss on his cheek as the camera snapped the moment.
Suddenly, a Nine-Tailed Fox jumped forward, transforming into a human. His pale skin, brown hair, and sharp features made him look like a sculpture crafted by angels. Brad, the human form of the Nine-Tailed Fox, looked at them. "Both of you are doing too much. Look behind you." He walked away from the loving couple.
Emily and Adam turned around to see envious and even repulsive stares from some of the creatures. Emily gave a peace sign, effectively repulsing two female creatures who were glaring at her. They jumped into the forest, feeling envious and pissed at Emily's obnoxious behavior. The rest of the creatures smiled as they headed back to their dimension.
"We should refrain from being too mushy in front of them," Adam said, trying to suppress his laughter.
"Don't bother. We'll just do as we wish. Did you see Tsuyu and Akemi's faces?! I'd pay millions to see them make that face again. Glad they know where they belong." Emily grinned, proud of her actions.
"You're a cheeky girl. I will eat you tonight," Adam said, trying to pinch her cheeks.
Emily ran down the forest pathway. "Catch me, and you can have your buffet, Adam!" she playfully teased, rushing down the mountain.
Adam, not about to let Emily escape his reward, grabbed the black armor core and transformed, his body engulfed in black armor, his eyes glowing red. Emily saw his transformation and shouted, "That's not fair, idiot!"
Emily transformed as well, her body consumed by fiery red. She turned into a majestic phoenix, bursting from the ground with flames, soaring into the sky at high speed.
Adam, driven by lustful desire and determination, launched himself into the sky, using the black anomaly power to blitz, closing in on Emily in her phoenix form. As Adam's hands came close, Emily burst her flames, causing a momentary blindness and allowing her to ascend higher into the sky. Adam entered the Shadow Realm and teleported in front of Emily, grabbing her and foiling her escape.
Adam's black armor core reverted, and Emily shifted to let Adam sit on her back in her phoenix form. Emily flew with Adam, watching the sunset. The sky was filled with multicolored rays, creating an ambiance of peace and serenity.
"I can do whatever I want tonight," Adam whispered to Emily.
Emily's flames turned a deeper red, burning brightly against the sky.
