Chapter 1 - Chapter 0.5 Epilogue

Humanity

A word with varying meanings, varying uses, varying users.

A giant building stood on peak of a mountain , broken, ruined and still suffering from the damage it has endured.

Humans fight, it's in our nature. We struggle for a ideal freedom we may never have, for a fate we may not be destined with.

A person stood in front of the building, a cut wound on his right eyes as his own hands drip blood.

But Human don't believe in fate, it's in our mind, it's in our souls.

To struggle till we can't no more.

The person opens the half-broken door, his arm barely strong enough to move the rusty doorknob.

Because the moment we give up... WILL BE THE MOMENT WE LOSE IT ALL.

"I was waiting for you. Mister Exiled." A person said from within the shadows as he lit a cigar for himself.

The two look at eachother,

One a bloody mess that was bathed in fury,

The other wearing a mask that hid his greed.

CHAPTER 1:

THE EXILED AND THE DAMNED

The planet of Arbinance, a doomed mining colony of a Zeroth Star Galactic Nation.

There was a time when it was the biggest and most well known supplier of herbs across the grevler-8 galaxy.

However now it is nothing more than a ruined barren shell reduced to a mining settlement.

It's air is more toxic than poison, its surface more lifeless than a desert

However a single place stood out on it, a city within a glass dome, the Evergreen.

A long time ago it was founded with the memories of the planet's greenary in mind but everything changed once they arrived,

The EWV, a mega corp that bought the planet from the nation itself.

Right now it's headquarters stood proudly in the middle of the city as the people in power looked down on it from above.

But-

BOOM

A explosion gulfed the basement of the building as the smoke rose above to the glass dome.

Corpses and machines were scattered across the floor as only one person walked out of explosion.

He looked like a scientist with a pitch black coat and strips on blue adorned his clothes, his face was covered by a gas mask and his left hand held a box.

Moving forward, he looked down below into the tunnel and brought out a communicator from his pocket.

"This is SR, I got the data. Initiate phase E5"

«Understood, Moving to point 12»

The masked man cut the call and jumped down as he swipes his right hand like a whip.

A rope formed from his hand and shot out until it the wall. He used it to swing through, landing gracefully on the road.

Raising his head, the man looked forward to see a vehicle coming his way.

It looked like a truck but didn't have any wheel. Slight bent with a plane like nose, the truck looked like a hybrid between a bullet train and a military hovercraft.

"SWAN RAVIL! THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE, SURRENDER NOW OR WE WILL SHOOT YOU DOWN!"

Soldiers arrived from the building's basement, few among them wearing some sort of exoskeleton suits that covered their whole body.

Hundreds of them aimed at the guy named Swan, the laser sights dyed his back red yet the man couldn't help but scoff.

From within the horde of soldiers, a single person walked out. A women of average height in a grey spotted commando clothes.

"It's over for you, you bastard. Now be a good boy and give that box back." She said furiously as her hand pointed a gun at the man.

"Over?" The man looked at her in confusion, "that's right... *Raises his hand to press on the his sleeve* Over for you that is."

Beep. Beep. Beep beep beep. BOOM!

The tunnel walls exploded as the detonator triggered the bombs on the wall, the heavy metal ceiling falling as it blocked off the soldiers.

The commander grew furious as she shot at the man but he was no simple person to be shot down by some mere bullets.

'Impulse'

The man vanished, his body leaving behind a after image as he appeared a few meters away with sparks coming out of his body.

He looked at the commander with a mocking gaze before the rubble finally fell between them.

Then the man turned to the truck again, watching in silence as it came towards him at full speed with no fear.

Just a few hundred meters away, the truck turned. It's thrusters were activated at full force as it slowly flew through the air and came to a stop right in front of the man.

A side door opened to reveal a entrance inside where two more people stood waiting.

"You know maybe killing her would've been better, that bit** is annoying." Said the first person, a blonde man with fair skin that looked too good to be of a soldier.

Garam Whisp, Combat specialist.

The second was women, her face hidden by a black veil and his right arm a metal prosthetic as she wielding a sniper as she looked out for enemies.

Olivia Lupin, Recon specialist.

The man sighed as he leapt over, the door closing behind him as the truck turned and shot towards the way it came from.

"The more angry that women is, the better it is for us. The more soldiers that die to her whims the better." Swan said nonchantly as he removed his mask and sat down.

On a scale of looks, he would be ranked 6 at best with his cyan hair tied into a ball like a samurai and his curved nose and chin giving him a average face.

"So you got everything?" Garam asked to Swan as he peeked at the box.

"Everything. Even the blueprints."

"Seriously? That's awesome!"

"Don't rejoice just yet" Olivia said with her voice changer making her sound like a robot, "We need to go to base first."

"As you wish you majesty." Garam said sarcastically as he opened the door to the driver's seat.

Inside was robot, a blue coloured android with a screen as a face and four metal arms.

Pepro-3, Swan's butler.

"Take us to the base Pepro, the other rebels are waiting for the good news ."

"Command recieved."

They are the rebels, the ones who oppose the EWV from the shadows and active terrorists from the view of those in power.

They had gotten what they wanted, but none of them knew what chaos was about to unfold on them.
