Of course, a ten-thousand-year soul beast doesn't go down that easily. The cracking of the armor only makes it mad. It keeps thrashing with its other legs, trying to crush Yin Xiaoya beneath its bulk.

He presses his left index finger on the Meteor Galaxy's fingerprint sensor.

A holographic image of Saturn with its rings appears on Yin Xiaoya's right hand. The light wheel symbolizing the rings rotates around Saturn at high speed.
At that moment, the Bone Scythe Mantis unleashes its attack, throwing two massive slashing blades at Yin Xiaoya.
"Woooo~~~ Ah Cha!!!"
Yin Xiaoya throws out the light wheel in his hand. The small light wheel seems insignificant compared to the mantis's huge blades. Nobody thinks it can withstand the attack. But then something unexpected happens.
In mid-air, the light wheel splits into two, striking the slashing blades. A metallic clang reverberates through the forest. The light wheel can't cancel out the attack, but it does slow the blades down.
Another halo separates, bypassing the slashing blades and speeding towards the Bone Scythe Mantis.

The massive damage interrupts the flow of soul power, causing the slashing blades to dissipate. The Bone Scythe Mantis plummets from the sky, crashing to the earth with a resounding THUD.
"Amazing… what a powerful soul skill," Su Xuan says, watching the scene unfold. But the doubts are growing. "But why isn't there any fluctuation of soul power? And no spirit rings?"
Yin Xiaoya strides towards the downed Bone Scythe Mantis, trying to project an aura of calm. But inside, he's on high alert. I found a way to deal with this thing. That doesn't mean I'm stronger.

Blue energy gathers on his right leg. Cracks appear on the ground with each step. Even the Bone Scythe Mantis can sense the terrifying power building up.
Maybe it's from the beating, but the mantis flinches. The light around its body flickers.
As it hesitates, Yin Xiaoya leaps high, his right leg aimed at the Bone Scythe Mantis like a falling meteor.
Realizing it can't escape, the mantis gathers its remaining strength, raising its bone scythes in a final attack.
"Ahhhh!!!"
The two collide, Yin Xiaoya's right leg meeting the Bone Scythe Mantis's double scythes. The impact sends out a shock wave. Su Xuan stops the students, using her soul power to resist the force. She watches the battle, not wanting to miss anything.
With a roar, the light on the Bone Scythe Mantis is washed away. The bone scythes break, the ends flying out of reach. The mantis's armor cracks, and its wings are scorched. It will never fly again.
The Bone Scythe Mantis loses, no question about it. Its legs were already gone. Then it got scared. Its soul power went haywire.
And the Meteor Strike is Kamen Rider Meteor's strongest attack. It kicks with 32 tons of force. Imagine that much power on small legs; the destructive power is incredible.
If the Bone Scythe Mantis wasn't injured, Yin Xiaoya wouldn't have won. It's more likely that he would have lost. But it had been fighting with Su Xuan for hours. Its strength and soul power were depleted. Then, Yin Xiaoya cut off its legs.
Even so, the mantis can recover. Scythes and wings can grow back. It only needs time, and they'll be stronger than before. But that can't happen if people or soul beasts attack it.
The mantis knows it can't happen. This is the edge of the Soul Beast Forest. There aren't many soul beasts stronger than it. And lower-level soul beasts run when it roars.
