Chapter 1 - Spin.The.Wheel

I didn't plan to quit that day, but how they treated me made it clear I couldn't stay another minute.

They took advantage of me, treating me like I was worthless. I finally reached my breaking point—it was just too much to bear.

"I'm done! I can't take it anymore—I refuse to be treated like your pet or a loyal dog. This ends now! I quit!" I yelled. I'm finally setting myself free.

"Alright, kid." The manager replied.

I felt a surge of anger. Did he not care at all? He even called me a kid!

"Is that all I am to you? Just a 'kid'? I bet you don't even know my name!" I shouted, struggling to hold myself back from punching him.

"Whoa, you finally got something right! I don't know your name. Do you mind telling me, kid?" he replied with a grin on his face.

That was my breaking point. I wasn't going to let him walk all over me anymore.

I clenched my fist and ran towards him. Deep down I knew this was a bad idea. I've never fought anyone in my life!

Before I could even get to him, I tripped and was knocked out on the ground.

Everything went dark. And then I was rushed with a blinding light.

"Where am I?" I called out not expecting an answer but to my surprise, I got one.

"This is the afterlife. And you are dead." A being sitting at a small desk replies.

"What? How did I die?" I thought. "The last thing I remember was trying to fight my boss and trippin-, wait don't tell me I died like that."

"Correct that's how you died." The Being answered

"Anyways, what happens next?" I asked feeling sad I didn't get my revenge on my manager.

"What happens next is deciding your fate." The Being said sounding quite bored.

"And how do we do that?" I asked while thinking of what would happen. It's not going to be some spin-the-wheel.

"It's spin the wheel of course" The Being said with a grin on his face. "This is the fun part."

The Being bent down and went to grab something. The Being started to assemble what is probably a spin the wheel, but wasn't this wheel a bit too… big?

"Why is the wheel so big?" I asked.

"Because these are all the things you can reincarnate as!" The Being exclaimed

What. Reincarnate as all these things? There are even species I've never heard of. Even Dragons, fairies, unicorns and more!

"Why do some have bigger areas than others?" I added.

"Because the bigger the area the higher the birth rate" the being announced. "Anyways time's up. We've got to spin the wheel now."

I looked back at the wheel the biggest ones were plants, trees and more. As the wheel spun a question arose. "Where would I be transported to?" I asked

"We still have the second wheel to spin, be patient." He replied. As he replied the wheel started to slow and it landed on…

"A tree," I mumbled

"Don't feel sad yet. We also have to decide what type of tree." The Being said trying to cheer me up

"And how do we decide-" I asked.

"Wait a minute." I said, "It isn't spin the wheel again is it?" I asked

"Thankfully it is" he celebrated.

"What do you mean thankfully?" I grumbled

"Well let's get to it." The Being said with a smile on his face.

"Wait a minute, world tree!"I cheered " finally something good happened in my life."

As the wheel slowed down I realised that it wasn't going to land on the most common and ordinary ones but the more powerful ones until it passed those it was going to land on the strongest and best one the world tree.

"Woah kid, you're good." The Being laughed.

"I have a history of being called a kid" I said jokingly. "So what's next? Is it deciding where I'll be going" I said

"Yes. We will do that and you will be sent down straight away. Any questions?" The Being replied

"How am I supposed to see as a tree?" I inquired.

"Dont worry, i'll give you a gift when you get there." The Being said with a smile on his face.

The final wheel, the wheel that decides where I'll be going. The wheel only shows places with life on it, fortunately.

"Lucky you kid, you got Universe 1-A!" he cheered. The being continued " Supercluster Z-13, Galaxy Prox, Solar system D-43, Planet Glmo."

"Is that supposed to be good?" I asked

"Can't tell you, kid. You've got to go now before you leave whats your name?"

"My name? My name is Aeris. Aeris Vael!" I yelled with pride.

"Aeris Vael I will remember you!"

My consciousness started to fade and my sight was engulfed in darkness.
