Legend says that before the existence of the universe there was nothing but an egg, when the egg cracked, so much energy was released that it gave birth to space, when it hatched, emerging from it were 2 little beasts, later to be known dragons, or rather Enlil and Hanbi, they were alive not long but were powerful enough to create the universe as we know it, they played catch with galaxies and marbles with stars however they were soon bored, that is when they created life, thousands of different creatures were manufactured and put on one big ball, the dragons vowed to never interfere with them, only to use them as a form of entertainment but were disappointed, the creatures were static with their lives repeating their schedule of sleeping eating and running around, that is when they passed on intelligence to a few of those creatures, soon after the creatures procreated and multiplied rapidly, built cities, nations, empires, used things called language to communicate and even fought wars, Hanbi was fed up with these actions of killing, looting and even betrayal so he went down to the mortals himself and tried to help, Enlil caught on and felt anger for the first time in several millennia, Enlil filled with this rage not understanding this foreign emotion, rushed to Hanbi, they battled each other with all their might, a thousand years had passed when the battle had ended, not realizing that they had destroyed the universe.
Both on the brink of death, they made a pact in blood of never fighting each other again but the hate was inextinguishable, they created another universe with another world they named terraria, only this time they created creatures separately and used them as pieces for the longest game of chess ever played, hitting stalemates at every move they both gave a part of their power to the world, some called it mana, some called it qi, some called it life force, it had many names and many forms, but it had 2 main forms light and dark, the creatures of many species used this energy for many reasons, it didn't take them long to discover the use of this power in battle, the pawns chose sides of the two gods and started a war which lasted longer than the dragon themselves, one day Enlil and Hanbi had suddenly vanished but the war continued. Burdened and tired of the endless and pointless two human warriors mustered up all their power and opened up a portal to make life in a new world. They had taken a big gamble but luckily landed in a world where life had already existed. They ventured into the new world and gave up all their mana to continue the human race only without this cursed power, the portal they came in was in very secluded places in both worlds which was a relief for them since it could not be closed. This is the story of my Arthur pendragon's life, is what I thought I would say at least once but as usual I had opened my eyes to the light of another day, my lifeless self, hurried up and prayed for a good day and all I could think about is graduating from school. School hasn't always been easy for me, an orphan who has a name that came straight out of a fantasy novel and also living my life as a nerd, but I have been driven by the thought of graduating and leaving this cursed orphanage that only wants to exploit helpless penniless orphans for some extra money, which surprisingly! was straight up hell. It was impossible for anyone to survive in that place. getting back to the story, I got up prayed and saw something that lifted my spirits, I saw a big circle on my calendar, it was my eighteenth birthday in 5 days and I was graduating in 3 days. I was getting ready for school, when I started searching for my uniform, I did find my uniform nice and clean in the dryer when suddenly I heard a bang. I found a young orphan crying behind the washer, I asked her the reason knowing full well that the sister must have assaulted her again, she told me sobbing that she forgot to add some sugar to the tea for the sister and because of that the sister threw the tray on her head, the state and pain of the poor child crushed my spirits but I smiled at her and told her that she just has to endure it for a couple more years and then she could leave that place for good, she could start a new life anywhere she wanted. I gave her a little treat and left for school. I thought to myself that if I am ever successful, I will do everything I can to help these children. On the way to school, right in front of a grocery store, I ran into my two closest friends, Sam Bunsen and Lily Ahyoung. They are both as messed up as me but have entirely different personalities, Sam is a genius who has crippling social anxiety but with us he is someone with a completely different personality, he is a person who would without a doubt be arrested if he opens his mouth in front of anyone else and lily a huge dork who is also extremely in love with machines, she could build anything but she has a dark side, she is the craziest and freakiest little bitch in town. But no matter what I say about these idiots, they are the only family I got.
We made it to school and had just walked in the classroom. the room was a mess, the teacher was snoring and drooling all over his desk, the children occupied by a lot off things and busy with their own shenanigans, we sat down and the speakers rang loudly, the principal had made an announcement over the school radio, immediately calling us to his office.
